  1. - People who treat their dogs like children, and say things like "momma loves you," to them. Your dogs don't see you as their parent, they see you as their pack leadier. >_>

    - Google+

    - The guy who followed my friends arround from server to server on gmod (now we play on a private server so there)

  2. I don't think minimum wage should be raised. I have talked about this with people who have a much better understanding of the economy then most people do. The fact is, companies are not going to lower their profit margin (which isn't as big as people assume it is), so the result would be a higher cost of living and layoffs.

I also don't really like the tumblr community. I mean the fandoms are fun, but the overall culter that has evolved there bothers me.

  3.

I don't necessarily disagree with tulpa-forcing. I can fully understand the want or need to get one. But I feel that some people are jumping into this without realizing fully what they are getting themselves into.

First of all Tulpa-forcing is not something that should be done because it’s “trendy” or just because you want to talk to a pony. Tulpae are really a life decision and will probably be with you your whole life. Based on what some of you guys have been saying, a host gets attached to his/her tulpa very early on, so killing a tulpa is probably very difficult.

Freewave, the posts on the forum you linked bring up some good points, but is there any documented evidence of the risks, like non-Creepypasta reports of someone who had <insert bad thing here> happen because of a tulpa?

What us on the MLR forum are really trying to get at is the potential psychological dangers of having a Tulpa. We may not have reliable stories about possible dangers, but keep in mind that Tulpae are new to first world countries, we haven’t really had the chance to study them. Speaking of which, has anyone taken the time to talk to a psychiatrist about tulpae? If anyone were to know about multi personalities and hallucinations, it would be them.

  4. Sorry to bring this thread up from the grave, but I have a question about it.

On the new art/media site, Weasyl.com ,  to keep disk-space down by discouraging multiple uploads, from what I've ready they've included a pretty neat, simple-sounding collaboration system...

    One user uploads the original...

...Then invites the contributing artists as collaborators.

...The song then shows-up in the collaborator's gallery as if they themselves had uploaded it.

In a system like this, would there be a way to add non members as collaborators?

  5. It looks like your original file was in 64 KHz, which isn't a particularly common sampling rate. While it could easily be whitelisted, I'm not so sure every player out there will handle a non-standard rate very gracefully. Does your DAW let you set the sample rate of your rendering? If it does, try the highest of the following that it supports:

    • 44.1 KHz
    • 48 KHz
    • 88.2 KHz
    • 96 KHz
    • 176.4 KHz
    • 192 KHz.

These are the standard sampling rates that digital audio tends to come in, and are the ones that Pony.fm allows. Try to avoid resampling a file that has already been rendered (I assume that's what you meant by bouncing it?).

If I recall correctly, I rebounced it at 96 KHz. The other two highest rates were too large.

The song is finally up now. Thanks for the help.

  6. A bit off topic but i just wanted to congratulate you on using the best D.A.W. ever made: Logic Pro

    eheh.

Logic is great, but I do have a major quirk with it: It's made by Apple.

Recently, I have been starting to like Apple less and less lately.

Now to get back on topic.

I just got this error from the site:

[{"name":"Dinky's Lullaby Lossless.aif","size":74209080,"error":"The master file has an invalid sample rate."}]

Well, it looks like its the sample rate. I am going to bouce the song again at a different rate and see what happens.

Edit: Alright, it worked. The song is finally up.

  7. I like this.

I have a bunch of music on my youtube that I don't have available in lossless formats.

Obviously there probably would be some benifits for hosting the song here rather than embedding it.

  8.

    hmm...

I will have to see. I know for a fact that its not an mp3.

Though I bounced the file agian as a WAV and I got this:

[{"name":"Output 1-2.wav","size":74209244,"error":"The master file has an invalid sample rate."}]

  9. I have been trying to upload one of my tracks, but I keep getting an error. When I tried the boring uploader, I got this error:

[{"name":"Dinky's Lullaby Lossless.aif","size":74209080,"error":"The master file does not contain audio in a valid format."}]
