    not bad. now, I'm going to say a load completely unrelated stuff, due to the fact that this forum requires a minimum word count of 100 words, I mean it's just stupid. yes it stops people from saying just lol, but sometimes you just need a one word answer, I mean, what if someone asks you if you like banana, I mean it's an interesting question, but you don't really need 100 characters to say it. it's just silly really *looks at word count* WOO HOO!, 360 words baby

    hmm, tricky. they both have parts that I love. their both badass, whether you prefer bass cannons or kung fu. actually I remember a fanfic where octavi was also a ex fencer. pretty badass. but then again, vinyl has this awesome madness to her, she's like a wub-derful version of the pinkster, only with bass instead of reality warping. honestly, I prefer octy in terms of fanfiction/art, but over all vinyl wins.     okay, I was looking through the brilliant world of equestria divided "look it up on deviant art if you like grim dark). anyway, the most twisted faction is the "cult of lauther" a sort of blend of the dark brother hood and a chaos cult (from the elder scrolls and warhammer/40K respectively). I was looking through the unit list, and I saw that the A: had zombies and B: had musical based troops. I thought "alright,lets give the ******* a taste of their own median." so, I came up with the idea that vinyl was chilling at home, and then these twisted ponies start attacking commence once DJ PON-3 taking on a legion of Zed heads... with wubs. it's a game/story/comic about vinyl fighting for the good of a crap sack equestria with a base cannon. so far, this only exists in my twisted imagination, but if any one is at all interested in it, feel free to ask.     oh, I'm just giving an example. I wanted to see if I felt the format worked. consider it a prototype model of a vote (in my mind at least). this could be and example of how to vote. on one hand, no one would be excluded from the contest. on the othere hand though, some one would have to comb through all the comments to do so. your best bet is to get in conact with knighty, equestria daily and some youtubers. once you have equestria daily, youtube and fimfiction (which, despite not being as big as the other two, still has over 70,000 members). once you've gotten the word out, you need to get someone to set up a site. after that, just lett the votes roll in. you could a specify for non pre-existing catagories, with the option to show the most popler, or all votes for each catagory. also seem my list as a number of recombination every one and their dog has heared of acoustic, but the video is abousltly amasing. sends shivers down my spine. P.S. sorry for atrocious spelling, but I'm constricted for time...

    just a thought, but why don't you try showing them parts of the fandom? try putting on some decent music or maybe a good but slightly darker story form FiMfiction. just general stuff that shows them that even if the show is a bit girly (I know, I know, it's not that bad) the fandom is pretty grounded. oh, and congratulations. this is my first ever post. moving on... edit: Actually, ponies: the anthology might be a good start...
