When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought it was some kind of joke or satire against the redemption of Discord, but after reading all of your points, I see that this is actually very true. Insisting that an entire race is inherently evil isn't exactly fair, besides the fact that the changelings were just doing what they needed to do to survive. We should see them again, but this time in a more positive light. They don't deserve to be orcified.

Sombra definitely has potential for a return. There a many things about him we never learned, aside from motives. I'm more interested in how he got so powerful. He seemed to be as powerful, if not more than Celestia, plus we saw dark magic for the first time in this episode. Sombra's motives seem obvious to me. I think he's like Napolean of Caesar and just wants wealth and power. I think more about his abilities. What exactly are the properties of dark magic? What makes it different than normal magic? How did Sombra become such a master of it? That's what I want to know.
