It's canon is based on fim so it obviously would reference the show. But eg hasn't been referenced in fim so it's non canon for now. The comics are so out of touch with the show's canon that they're barely related to the show.

Guns are great but they're expensive and the people aren't the greatest. At least pony is relatively cheap and while some people may be weird, we're the nicest group of freaks around.

I guess eg and the comics' saving grace is their non-canon status.

I actually am not a huge partier. Don't like the atmosphere, the music, the people, and I'm not a huge drinker either. Other guys smoke, shoot up, or drink to deal with it but not me. One day this crazy pony train will reach the end of the line and I'll have to find something else to occupy my time and thoughts. I just want to enjoy it while it lasts and not have these shitty movies (and comics) take away from it.

This is the first time I've actually gotten into a fandom. I've enjoyed other things like vidya and music but never to the point where I'd fly halfway across the country for con. I get worked up because this isn't just entertainment for me. After being shot at, stabbed, running suicides and car wrecks, and dealing with other (let's face it) horrors, I need something to get me through it. All the comics lately have been kind of ass. Reflections had Celestia acting majorly out of character.
