Snow gave a yawn as her head rested on strong hooves shoulder,both to agree and to get comfortable. She felt safe for the first time scence the war first started. Her eyes slowly close,enjoying the happy peaceful feelings that now surround her.secretly she hoped this night would never pass,she wanted strong hooves to stay so badly she almost had enough courage to come out and say it "...so...um are you feeling OK stronghooves,you seem troubled?"

Hail,swift, and the few remaining pegasi who managed to escape witnessed toothless flying away and with no sight of the shadowbolts,the ragtag team took the chance to take flight. Keeping low to avoid the chances of being spotted,hail and the others followed behind swift as they headed the same direction as the toothless. Hail: " we will lose him,leave me behind and go find out where he's going...I will be fine" Swiftgrace: " a good colonel will not leave anypony behind,I'm positive we will find out soon enough. Just worry about getting spotted,we were Lucky to escape the shadowbolts the first time. A second encounter would be disasterous right now...just keep low and cautious hailstorm"

(LOL) The remaining troops hung their heads in shame as the gathered up the wounded and readied to leave.they discussed who would break the news of their loss of the fight and solus.some even started to blame toothless for their defeat.

Solus body became lifeless, Evey bone in his body was shattered by this point. The surviving solar soldiers looked on in horror,not saying a word in hopes he doesn't turn to them to finish taking out his rage

Solus breath grew fleeting,as he lain on the cold floor he tried to get back up.though his will was strong his body was broke from the heavy trauma caused by strong hooves.solus was bleeding out,it was only a matter of time until he passed but he intended to use what little. Time he had to push strong hooves buttons "Did...I hit a soft spot on the big bad strong hooves? Does he still have fe...elings. the so called friend hail who threw you aside like a real soldier...or maybe the other one, snow wasn't it...what's the deal with thar one exactly ----------------------------------------------- Hail was helpless as he watched the shadowbolts decimate the air forces,they were armed for only moderate Aero combat against other standard Pegasi units. Hail himself,practically a flying fortress. Could not match the shadowbolts speed. His only hope was to tough out what he could until he could land,his chances of holding his own would be slightly better once he could manage not to get hit from evey direction. The colonel,though hardly airborne capable followed hail,knowing that they were helpless in the air now.

Solus realized that toothless was,for some reason disobeying his orders by not getting the barrier down. Looking Back at his troops solus realized that his troops were getting overwhelmed,even his rally cry couldn't boost the rapidly decreasing moral or energy of his worn soldiers.their constant pulling back quickly got them crunched up and cornered Several Pockets of solar forces drop their arms and surrender. Solus grew furious Solus. " why are you surrendering unto the enemy,you are proud soldiers of celestia,are you not? The sword and shield that protects a brighter tomorrow,does and will not give in to the monster that is this so-called republic who wishes to crush our superior ways...and you,dragon! toothless was it,obey! Stop waitsting time and get that barrier down,do not question MY authority! Grunt "sir,we are cornered and growing fewer in numbers,sir every pony is starting to give in or trying to flee...we can't hold Ranks much longer,it's a lost cause!" Solus "so be it! If this is a lost cause as you claim then so was my misplaced faith in you" Grabbing hold of the grunt,solus threw him infront of strong hooves next punch,the already battered armor gave way to the spikes.the grunt collapse onto the floor. Solus" well strong hooves you may have crushed my infantry but I will take great joy in knowing we will share this tomb. sure that the solar airforce or what remains will bomb this place upon first sight of any Luna forces leaving without being our prisoners...I know for a fact that hail is up there and he's just itching to put you in the dirt for kidnapping his sister,amongst other things"

Ooc:srry strong hooves I was busy today) Solus managed to keep himself from stronghooves range but just barely.his goal was to work his way back to the forcefield and bolt into the open once it fell.once outside he would have the upperhoove,plenty of space for his blitzing tactics.being trapped in such close proximity to some pony so large his chances were dim.suddenly he had an idea *lets keep them trapped,we can turn it into their grave.*

Solus tries to pull back for some breathing room of his own,growing exaused from his relentless assault on stronghooves.turning his stances more to defence rather than his favored of offensive he manages to stave off most of the heavy hits. Solus"we are to confined here,we need to find and kill who ever is holding those fields up so we can fall back to a more favorable terrain.toothless,grab one of our casters and seek them out and do what your kind does to your prey...I can handle myself against the brutes until we get some space to really move"

The spikes managed to puncture through the plate itself but caugjt by the layer of chain hidden under.solus could feel just how close he was to being wounded if not killed by strong hooves initial attack.with his own quick swipe, the saber bounced off strong hooves armor. Solus knew that with armor that thick,no light blade could do any harm no matter the force behind the swing. With another series of swipes it becomes clear that solus is aiming to cut the straps holding the armor together Solus " many thanks for your aid,if you find a way to signal colonel swift and the fleet of pegasi do so,with them flanking we will crush these lawless Cretans here and now...until then slay every one of these scourge corrupting our way of life" Solus turned his full attention to stronghooves,dodging and countering with great skill.

Solus made his way through the crowds of clashing soldiers,spotting strong hooves he gave his battle cry and set charge. Solus "strong hooves,today the light of celestia's justice shines strong and you will fall in her glorious name!" The mass of celestial's soldiers shouted in a boost of moral.putting up a harder struggle against Luna's forces,making their push that much more effective.

Hail kept to himself,not speaking a single word to the Pegasus at his side. With his failure to capture the mountain during the last air raid removed him as the CO of the fleet. Shaking his head in disbelief at all the recent events,strong hooves apperence and spareing of hails life,solus growing more power hungry with each fight,and the rumors of snows disappearance and possible sightings began to suggest her being a spy for Luna. Hail looked over his polished golden platemail with a grim look on his face *I'm not capable of fighting at my fullest..I can't think clearly right and it might be the death of me...maybe strong hooves will be there,fighting him makes me focus on him and not myself...if not cracking a few skulls might suffice untilled then*

A small platoon of solar infantry trot border. Upon close inspection most of the ponies sported recruit or private ranking,the capitan. Being the only real ranking officer occasionally stops his troop and scans for any possible threats,ready to sound the alarm at the first sight of danger. Occasionly a single Pegasus scout flies overhead to make Sure the patrols haven't been interrupted --------------------------------—-------------- Solus: "Hail,summon the other commanding officers. We need to have a meeting...I can not just sit by knowing our enemy is marching on our doorsteps. We need to take the fight to them. ...and in the process, The grip of that blasted mountain your Pegasus squadrons couldn't take will fall back onto the proper hooves. That of celestia,not luna" Hail: "don't start with me solus,you don't have authority to make such critical decisions..my units will remain on stand by until told otherwise. Solus: "if you wish to sit about and wait,be my guest...but are you willing to let strong hooves,Luna,or any of them beat us hail...h'm What do you think might happen to your sibling if Strong hooves finds her first,he might hurt her to get to you, The longer we take to win this the higher the chances of said events hail" Hail stormed off,leaving solus to himself in the war room —--------------------------------------------- Snow sat at the edge of the forest,not straying far from the makeshift hideout she called her own Stilll plegued by the memories of the prison and the events that transpired during her stay made resting impossible. The guards chat between themselves,mostly about what they called rumors of strong hooves leading up the ground assaults an iron hoof only glanceing back once in a while to check if zanthak is still following Guard 1 "so what do you think,this strong hoof pony the real deal or some propaganda being spread by Luna and her minions. To scare us" Guard 2 "just rumors I figure,conrolen the battle field with fear ya'll know...can't name a single pony who would want to meet strong hooves in a fight...if he where still kick'n that is" Guard 1 "and this pony? Watching the smaller ponies try and carry the one who he figured was flynn,the urge to help and prove his use to everyone grew almost overwhelming.unsure why he felt such a srong urge to help these few ponies despite never knowing them "If you like I can carry your friend,I'm still able bodied enough to lug around a bit more weight seeing as my bags are just about empty"
