  1. To all those who are saying Twilight is not living in Ponyville anymore, that is not true. She was in Canterlot simply to help with the Summer Sun Celebration.

I don't remember anyone saying anything about that.

Then again, I have an actual mental disorder, so maybe I missed something when reading spoiler articles and/or viewing the actual episodes on YouTube.

P.S.: My God, those people can upload fast!

  2. Pros:

    More Luna

    Creepy-@$$ plants

    Discord in general

    Twilight using Sombra-magic again

    Flashbacks of Equestrian history

    Celestia kicking 2 consecutive @$$es

    Tree Of Harmony

    Alligator-thingy

    Mystery box

    Twilight's... er... Sonic "Starboom"???

    Cons:

Twilight not living in Ponyville anymore

    The whole Twilight's-friends-telling-her-to-go-home fiasco

    No new villain(s)

Twilight being able to do said Sonic "Starboom" WAY too suddenly (In fact, they should've waited and devoted a whole episode to that.)

All in all, I liked this much better than The Legend Of Korra's Season 2 finale.

  3. I will want to watch the episode again before posting any in depth opinions. For now, I am very happy with it. The flashbacks probably wrecked a large number of fanfics, but they were worth it. I loved Discords antics, but also his role and actions a thousand years in the past. I am very happy with the episode, and like I said, I want to watch it again before giving a real opinion.

Youtube link if anyone wants it:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXb4qdlBzog&list=PL62AB0439C7019684

hopefully it stays up. This is low quality version, so if you can find HD, go for it.

Well, that certainly made my weekend.

Nice to see Twilight still remembers how to use Sombra-style magic; disappointing that we didn't get to see the Crystal Empire fiasco in her flashback(s), however.

    P.S.: Dear Discord,

In regards to your future in agriculture...

  4. @QuirkyUsername:

Ponies can just use their hooves to grab things; that's been proven numerous times in the series. Still, magic (or 4th-wall powers like Pinkie's; either one would work for me) would be undeniably practical to have on a day-to-day basis, and that's why I've also chosen unicorn.

  5. @Evil Dragon Master:

    1. Twilight's rival, Artifact Of Doom, redemption scene, etc. Sound familiar?

    2. Actually monologued before trying to kill them, giving them enough time to become Sailor Scouts.

    3. Didn't really do all that much after transforming, though.

P.S.: Lex Luthor, David Xanatos, and Grand Admiral Thrawn also have no powers, but have craploads of resources to compensate. If you ask me, Sunset was all set to be like that, but just didn't seem to capitalize on her high-school connections and all as well as she really could've. Hopefully, a potential sequel will have a true Bad@$$ Normal and/or Magnificent B@$+@rd human antagonist.

  6. 1. The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride.

Good writing, good new characters, good animation, good voice acting, and a good soundtrack; it all helps this arguably rival the original, actually.

    2. The Return Of Jafar.

Iago and Jafar pretty much steal the show here: Iago gets more character development (culminating in antiheroism), and Jafar not only becomes more Genre Savvy than in the original but also says one of the most unsettling lines of all time ("You'd be surprised what you can live through"; suddenly, a genie's no-kill rule doesn't seem all that limiting, now does it?).
