Giegue

In my opinion, one of the biggest traits of a Sue is the way that the plot and setting bends backwards for him/her. The plot will warp around them, with nearly everything focusing on that one Sue. Everything has to do with Sue, with the Sue being the center of nearly every plotline and recieving excessive screentime for Sue's cast position. Finally, this kind of character tends to get shoved down your throat; other characters will often compliment Sue constantly with how cool, pretty, etc he/she is.

With me, I was looking through the tvguide when I noticed this show. I said "screw it, lets see what people are flipping out about" and decided to wauch it on a day that I was home alone. Saw "Bridle Gossip", had some good laughs, and loved this show ever since.

I think that the majority of the hate is due to the reason that we are a rather large fandom who likes a girly show, which adds up to "easy fandom to troll" in their minds. Another reason is that it is popular to hate on things that drastically deviate from the "normal" tv show. Given America's and other country's view on "unmanly things", a good amount of the hate may be to prove to their peers that they "hate" this show when they secretly like it in some bizzare man-tsundere fashion.
