For a brand new writer, I would suggest sticking with the mane 6 or other really popular characters like Vinyl for example. You want people too see your writing and have an idea for it before you get more indepth with things.

I would try and find a niche which fits how you want to write best. Mine happened to be sad/slice of life/romance, but for you it could be anything. Its a matter of trying them out and discovering which one comes naturally to you best. 

Also, sit down and try to come up with ideas of what you want to write about. I could easily hand you a bunch of ideas, but that defeats the purpose a bit to me. To make it really your story, you should be the one coming up with the ideas

 

No, I'm talking about an unfinished build of Cookie Clicker that features dungeons. (I'm a mod dev -slash- newbie programmer, so I know what a beta is).

No, I'm at home. I'm watching a livestream of someone playing Cookie Clicker. While I'm playing Minecraft.

I can't drive at all; I still don't have a license. So yeah...

 

But I did a bit of research on the skytram in San Diego Zoo. First, I'm calling it by the wrong name (should be gondola lift), and second, it's been around for a long time.

 

Did I mention that last week was the first time I've ever been more than 100 feet off the ground?

So I'm at 1.3 quadrillion cookies in total for this game I'm on.

Damn game is distracting me from life.

I did have plans today to go out and hang out with my friends, but all that went away plus any future fun I would of had because of the fact I crashed the only car I was able to drive and second, I will probably have my license taken away or have to go through driving school again.

 

Meh.. I didn't want this to happen, and now I'm stuck without transportation, like most I know.

 

I dunno how I'll be able to do things, and for two I dunno what I would have to do with my money.

Sorry to hear that. Look on the bright side though, at least you didn't get injured or hurt badly. But yeah, I can understand the annoyance of not having transportation.

Its sad how many times I hear about relationships ending in bad terms like this. I do understand the whole Long Distance thing, I had one for 2 years some time ago. Thankfully we remained friends afterwards. I wish I could give you advice, but all I can say is hold your head high.

I usually figure that the face, pose, blushing, extras/etc, and sometimes open mouth would be what would give it away, yet everyone just says its cute instead.

Hey don't be so hard on yourself. 

One of the things I did to start writing again, was to just write whatever I felt like, even if the idea was an unoriginal as can be. When you write, ideas will come with that. Its why I'm writing 2 stories now, as I got one idea while writing another story. 

Whatever idea comes to mind, let me know. I'll try to help if I can

I've had that type of writing slump before. It actually lasted more than half a year. This was before FIMFiction though.

Hello yall!

The Minecraft scale model one? Because here's the weird part: In my dream, I found it on Youtube and the guy said the exact name of the college and everything. Well, not everything, just the biggest building on the entire campus and not much else.

Funny thing about this actually. The college I used to go to (Rochester Institute of Technology), had a minecraft map made of it, and it wasn't only the larger buildings either. From what I heard, a couple of people worked to construct the entire campus, which is pretty amazing since the school is pretty large. 

 

Just me. Nothing to do at the moment.

 

Weird dreams again. One involving extreme downpour at a school that I promptly ran away from. The other involving breaking sh!t in a gym. The other one involving a scale model representation of my local college... In Minecraft.

I would love to have a dream like that last one

Currently writing a contest entry for FIMfiction group called Twidash.

It's exactly what it seems 

When coming to any sort of headphones I buy, sound quality is always one of the deciding factors. Look at the reviews and see which one people rate as having better sound. One way or another, they earphones will be ponified, so you shouldn't worry too much on that end.

Point being, even though they look nice, you don't want to get a bad sounding pair of headphones. It isn't worth it in the long run.

Missed ya buddy. Sad to hear that the fanfiction writing didn't pan out. That was actually the main reason I wasn't here for so long. I spent pretty much all of my time on FIM. I got a bunch of stories up and ideas in the works. 

Funny enough, going to college gave me more time to write.
