In my personal headcanon, the skin order would be Pinkie(super pale to the point that it looks pinkish because of the blood), Rarity(pale, but with some color), Applejack(tanned caucasian), Fluttershy(light olive skin), Rainbow Dash(dark tan), and Twilight(black). They should also give more variety when it comes to their bodies. In my headcanon, Pinkie Pie would be chubby, AJ muscular and a little chubby on top, Rarity and Fluttershy are slender with curves, RD is lean and toned, and Twilight's a thin pear, but like the skin tones I'd be curious to see what they'd do with the bodies instead. They're probably similar because it's easier to swap out clothes, but if the clothes are cloth like barbie clothes, then there can easily make minor differences without it being too bad. Plus, it'd be interesting if each doll had their own set of clothes that could be identified by the size and style, and dolls of similar size could share clothes but it won't always fit, like an AJ outfit would be super huge on RD. Even so, I understand why they did what they did and it still looks nice, so I'm not complaining. This is just what I would have done if I was in their shoes!

    Me too! I'll be 15 in a month. Most of the bronies I know IRL are in the 13-19 range, but that's mostly 'cause my friends are mostly limited to teens. I don't think any of the adults I know are fans of the show, and kids are the target demographic so they don't really count.

    You could use an Applejack one and trim it! If you don't want to risk that, then you could get one of those fake ponytails and use it as a pony tail, or something like that.

    Well, they could find a way to keep him special, I'm sure. He could be a magical talking dragon dog, or something like that. Corny I know... I think you guys might appreciate this though: It'd be pretty cool if they made him a talking lizard or something. But, when you think of merchandise, most little girls would probably want to get a cuddly plush dog-Spike. Besides, the talking dog in Family Guy seems to be fairly equal to the rest of the cast, but I'm not sure since I haven't seen much of that show. And then there's Jake from Adventure Time. So it's not like dogs can't be important characters in cartoons.

    Lesson Zero's a good one. Any of the two-parters, especially the season 2 ones would work too. I really liked Over a Barrel even though it was ridiculous. Party of One, or pretty much any mental breakdown episode are good choices as well.

    It'd be pretty cool to have an episode where the entire mane cast is off travelling somewhere and the backround characters get a day in the limelight. As for a single character replacing Twilight, that doesn't sound so bad. I remember reading a manga once where the leader left for a while and got replaced, and the replacement ended up as a sixth ranger when she returned.

    Hmm, how about something that takes place right after they get their cutie marks? Like how Pinkie's family reacted to the party(and how much of that story was true), or whether Fluttershy stayed on the ground or had to go back to flight camp, stuff like that. I have some ideas: Pinkie's family was shocked by her party rather than the happiness shown in the cutie mark chronicles, and disowned her soon after the party which is how she ended up in the cakes. The ending she told the cmc was to keep them from being too upset. Fluttershy had to go back to flight camp soon after the sonic rainboom. She didn't want to leave her animals, but the camp instructors eventually let her bring a bird or two along and let her visit them every weekend. It's also my personal headcanon that she has/had M.E./CFS which is why she's a weak flyer, but that's just me. Applebloom was recently born when Applejack came home from Manehattan, and their parents died a year later. Rainbow Dash's mom died when she was young and left her with her gay brother(they were very masculine in contrast to the typical flamboyant stereotype). They also had a lot of adopted sons who were very competitive and tough with Rainbow Dash, and it made her the pony she is today. They were also prone to teasing her a lot, so when she says something a little harsh, she isn't always aware that it's bad because she's so used to it. I haven't really thought much about the unicorns though. Anyhow these are just my personal ideas. When and where will the RP take place? I'd assume ponyville, since if Pinkie Pie has already moved there that'd be half the mane 6. Pinkie moving to ponyville could be a good start for the RP, or even Fluttershy or RD. It could also be a visit from a family that results in the mane six discussing their pasts and childhoods and the whole thing could be a series of flashbacks.

    Oh, I never would have guessed her favorite food was nachos! I thought she'd be more of a health-freak, but eh, whatever. I can't wait for the episode where she learns to fly! X3 It'd be adorable if she ended up getting a lesson together with Scootaloo.

    Hmm, I generally like stuff that I'm too old for, so I'd probably still watch and enjoy it, but probably be as into it as I am into "Life in the Dreamhouse", which doesn't have nearly as huge a fanbase as bronies but is still enjoyable. I definitely wouldn't be as obsessed with MLP, and I wouldn't have so many askblogs, OCs, and fanfic ideas.

    My boyfriend doesn't watch the show itself, but he has a basic idea of it since his sisters like it and my friend and I talk about it so much around him and doesn't mind that we're pegasisters. He does like grimdark fanfics of MLP though(and our mutual love for guro was part of what brought us together in the first place, hehe), and he's seen parodies like PONY.MOV and Friendship is Witchcraft.

    I think that there's a lot of potential, but with every way this could go right, there's at least 9 ways it could go wrong. I am looking forward to episodes that deal with Twilight learning that being a princess isn't all about being fabulous and that they have a whole country in their hands. It's likely the fact that she becomes a princess will give more screentime to the other princesses, which hopefully will result in some episodes about the princesses origin, how exactly Cadance is related to Celestia and Luna, how they became princesses themselves, stuff like that. And like some of you said, this could be an oppurtunity for Twilight to travel across Equestria and meet new friends. Maybe there could be an episode about how the other 5 are dealing with Twilight being absent for so long, or maybe they could join in on the travels. Ooh, there are so many oppurtunities for episodes!!!

    Ooh, I was thinking two ways that the show could work without interfearing with the canon. A) It's an entirely different universe and the characters don't interact with each other at all(except maybe as a joke, or a special crossover episode). The time works very differently. This could be shown two very different ways. Twilight opens a portal to an alternate universe that sucks in the mane cast only to spit them out a second later, and the show begins after they start telling someone(could be Spike, one of the Princesses, the CMC, a background character, something like that) what happened. Either that, or the show starts with them being sucked into the portal, and the series goes on for a while. Then, in the actual MLP universe, there's an episode similar to above, but instead of seconds it takes a day or so. Meanwhile, the some sort of monster or villain or something attacks Ponyville and the episode ends up as a day in the limelight for the background characters. The mane cast pop up at the end of the episode after the town is back to normal. I'm also not sure whether it would be just the mane 6(and possibly Spike) in the new universe interacting original characters or if they wake up in an alternate universe where everyone is human and they are trying to get their heads around the fact that everyone they know has been put into a high-school-drama type thing. Oooh this makes me wanna write a fanfic of the second one!!!
