  1. Dreams of flying... Something about having a total sense of freedom and not being restricted just feels good, and i think a lot share that same desire. Performing on the stage with some legendary passed away musicians, i've had some of those. And overall dreams about a more... connected, carefree and unified world.

However, most of my "dreams" are just a mess of images thrown together which i cant recall.

  2. Yeah, they kinda brought in the pets, and then forgot about 'em.

Hopefully Tank will appear in this one, even if for a second or two. Just something to confirm that he didn't die in some freakish accident involving a pan of boiling water and seasonings between episodes. :(

Why oh why am i reminded of Pinchy in the Simpsons... Oh... Dash, you wouldnt.

  3. Yeah.... Easily one of the most touching stories i've read on there. It leaves you with such an empty feeling afterwards. All things end... Which reminds me of a story i came across called "The magic never fades away" also on FiMFiction. If you have the time, maybe you should look it up.

  4. Well, like i mentioned, i think it's just some bad joke or rumour being played; supposedly only one forum has picked that up, anonymously. Until i see more confirmation i'll just wait and see. Both Hasbro and the show staff have made a joint decision to go for it, i dont see them pulling back that easily.

If there was a media frenzy going on, perhaps there'd be some truth to it. But i see no clear signs despite a vocal few who try to make a problem out of thin air.

  5. *Sigh* ... That would be truly disappointing, Derpy was and is the epitome of giving a fanbase a big nod/recognition, to back away from that just seems silly, especially if you think about the whole process of getting a scene like that through production, getting clearance, establishing that character for tens of thousands of people as the Derpy they imagined. What, did a few stuck up parents call Hasbro? Is there such an extreme backlash against the name that it requires a change all of a sudden? I dont see it...

    I hope it's just a bad rumor...

  6. Aw geez, maybe I should clarify. I'm talking full-on, eye-twitchy, gone mental snapping that creeps other ponies out. Sure, Rainbow had stage fight, Rarity got overdramatic, and Fluttershy got angry, but only Pinkie and Twilight seem to have done what I'm describing.

Well you did ask if some ponies are close to snapping. After seeing Rarity like that... I think theres atleast some potential for it.

  7. I agree with all of that. Unfortunately there always are and always will be people like that, the best we can hope for is to lessen their numbers a bit.

Peer pressure as a cause is one of the biggest reasons. Often i've met people who will talk openly to you alone, but act so differently when they are in a group. Sad, but it just is.

  8. There already are characters named Lightning Streak and Fire Streak, if the colt will have Streak in it's name also that would be boring xD

Ah ponyfeathers, right. I can hardly keep track of every single one of them out there...

  9. Witnessing MAMD (Mutually assured muffin-esque destruction) resulting from the chat war between super muffin derpy506 and myself. This then caused the creation of muffin based mutant creatures which fed on the muffins falling from the clouds, which SMD and I then teamed up to combat with cupcakes. Also it let me use the line "War, war never changes..."

    Mmmmmm.... Fallout Muffin. :P

  10. There was hearsay here and there which i heard, but i never seriously paid any attention to it, like i said in my first/welcome post, i was truly introduced to it and started watching my first episodes through a mod which i regulary play. Which is called Garry's mod, basically you request youtube videos which are then displayed on the big screen infront of you, the map is just like a cinema. There are around 60-70 people in the same room during peak hours (weekends). It's fun watching it that way. Sure, there are some haters, but i dont pay attention to it. You can even buy a brony tag next to your ingame name... Or rent your own space for bronies to gather.

The first thing i thought? It was MLP, i knew i had previous experiences from the 90's, earlier generations, i nearly always zapped away to another channel, and i had to shed that nasty aftertaste and give this a chance. But i'm a very open-minded person, so i never brush aside anything that easy. I was very much suprised by the quality and intelligence of it. About an hour after i started looking on youtube for related fanwork like art and remixes. I was hooked from the start. It definitely has a positive effect on the way my days go by. It brings back a lot of nostalgia for some reason, which a lot of recent cartoons dont do for me anymore, most of it is garbage. I did go through the stage of "Why am i liking this?" for a short while, then i just thought "Because you just do, embrace it"... Easy as that.

Aside that, it brought back my desire to pick up art once again, which i havent done in ages. :)

  11. Good to see you've managed to drag yourself out of that pit of bitterness. The show does have that effect of changing your views on life, and that aside it makes you tolerate the characteristics of other people some more that bug you. And overall shaping an happier you.

If anything changes things for the better, whether it be a show, or music or whatever, as an outsider, you can always give it a chance, glad you did.

When things change for the worse, either because of school or at home, you can get the habbit of thinking that everyone out there exists just to hurt you in some way. But there are always fine, likeminded people. :)
