  1. Although I'm not perfectly prideful about it, I'm a public Brony. My parents and some of my friends (Friends? What friends, the only in rl friend you have lives in Oregon.) know about it. I don't mind wearing shirts showing my Brony-dom, and what-not.

Other than that, I'm kind of in the closet. I listen to Pony-Music while walking around outside though, so does that count?

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works. It's okay. I understand.

Well, I'm not that surprised. I do singing, writing (not professionally) and a lot of gaming. However, the social nerd is completely wrong in my opinion , since I don't like people too much. It depends on the person, though.

  3. Discord reminds me of the joker, for some reason. They both don't necessarily TRY to hurt people, but they mischievously mess with people, and always cause chaos in the middle of it.

Rainbow Dash reminds me of the main kid from the Home Alone movies, even though the kid's a guy. They both enjoy playing pranks, and have similar hyperactive yet fluctuating personalities, but that's just me.

  4. I would take my guitar (is it possible to play a guitar in Equestria, as a pony?), my Laptop, my mouse, my Razer Headphones, a few of my books on scientific studies and astronomy, to see if Equestria is possibly an actual world parallel to ours (Or just really far away in a set of constellations we can't see), and my Ipod.

I'd also bring my handy-dandy chargeable flashlight, and show off to everyone. (Do they have flashlights in Equestria?)

Que a "The fun has DOUBLED!" line

  5. If I'm correct, there's a post about this, so most likely they'll be merged. But I'll say it anyway.

I became a Brony through curiosity, and loving the fandom content and music. Especially the music. After that, I watched the first episode, was hooked, and continued until I watched all of them. So almost the same situation as you.

Would go into more detail, buttt, that'd take too long.

  6. Off topic: The first thing that came to my mind was Discord. Now onto topic.

I believe that if the world were to lose it's color, people would change drastically. Color is what brings clarity and feeling into people's lives, such as how an artist uses different colors to portray emotions or shading, which adds realism and, once more; clarity to the artwork.

Without color, people would go into a depression, or perhaps maybe anger. A person who turns blind at the age of 20 doesn't like being blind, do they?

In all realism and logic, people wouldn't enjoy having a lack of color. Like how people wouldn't enjoy not being able to hear, smell, or touch things. It's one of our senses that aren't 'officially a sense', because of the enjoyment it brings us. On a full manner, it wouldn't affect us too much, but because humans use colors to portray things with emotions and feeling, it would effect us.

A few examples: A strawberry isn't a strawberry if it's not red. We would be able to tell the difference between a lemon and an orange. We wouldn't be able to see light, other than a slight difference in brightness, in which case, sight would probably be down the drain entirely.

  7. Thanks for the advice, but i take online school.

Trust me Arizona is probably one of the worst places to go to school.

No offense to anypony who likes AZ.

Worst experiences of my life, bus rides sucked, kids were cruel,so much homework,

and hateable teachers. My only friend was the one

who hated hearing that i was a brony.

Oh well,as long as i have the forums,i am fine.

    Brohoof!!

    /)

I understand what you mean. As I also live in Arizona, I can understand just how bad a state this one is for schools, and socialization.

The thing I wait for every year is the Comicon, where I can meet a lot of people, instead of being stuck in my house. (ALSO home schooled, because the school I went to hated me for getting good grades, apparently.)

I'd love to be your friend, though!

  8. Well, this seems to be quite an interesting way of putting things. I'm TOTALLY gonna stop being a Brony because of this!

But, in all seriousness, I'm hoping it's a troll. If not, it's someone who thinks things over wayyyyyy too much.

Or maybe someone with an amazing imagination, who knows?

  9. It's a hard topic to speak of. Personally, like most of the people think, within five minutes of us using time-travel, we'd destroy the space-time continuum. It'd probably be hilarious, dastardly, crazy, and insane all at the same time. Now, for a logical take on the subject.

In my opinion, if humans could invent time travel, I'd be awestruck, for multiple reasons. 1: Seeing as time controls everything, and, according to scientists, everything is affected by time, there'd be a LOT more than just time-travel involved with the making.

2: The time travel device used would have to be insanely large, maybe something as big as the Eiffel Tower.

3: Because of the large size, we couldn't confirm whether it worked or not, because the person wouldn't be able to just come back.

4: I'd probably have a heart attack, a stroke, and a seizure just from the confusion, shock, and pain of humans creating a time machine.

  10. So many varied responses. I was considering adding a poll to this, but I don't think I would of gotten so many interesting replies.

YAY for having a question in my head and making a topic out of it! Although I believe a few (or many) people were as curious as I was.

  11. Not yet.  I'm not very far into the show, but I imagine it will start creeping into my vocabulary soon enough.  The fact that the ponies say certain words so much makes me think that I will start saying them too.

If I may ask, how far are you into the show? Sorry, but my curiosity always goes beyond what most people would consider normal.

However, I suppose I'll answer my own question (Since I haven't already).

I use MLP-Vocab on what I would consider a nearly normal level. I've said "Dear Celestia" in my mind on several occasions. I've said trot, I've said "Yay~" but no-one really got it then. A few other terms here and then, but nothing I can think of off the top of my head.

  12. I've played through the game a couple times, and I will admit that there are some.

    Not-that-good-in-fact-infuriating moments in the game.

Actually, admittedly, there are a LOT. However, if you have ALL of the DLC (bonus gun and story reasons) the knowledge of having played through it several times, the power of manual-saving every time you're about to enter a building because only Celestia knows how many Deathclaws, Marauders, Robots, Rangers, Ceasars Legion, or even over-sized crickets there are inside of the building.

Other than that, it's a decent game. Still can't wait for the fourth, if it ever comes out.

  13. I will squash your ambition with a mighty crunch sound.

    Welcome.

Just a tiny bit afraid of what you mean by that.

Then again, the best rulers are the ones that come back after being defeated. Totally not referencing Princess Luna

  14. I think it's quite a beautiful picture. You added quite a bit of detail (for a on-paper drawing especially) to make it seem almost 3-D. Either that or I have really bad near-sight vision I also love how you added Umbreon to the whole mix! In my opinion, it's excellently made.

  15. I think anyone should be able to respect your enjoyment of anything that you, well. Enjoy! So personally, get whatever you want to get, and if you love it, it makes it all the better! Personally, I'm going to stick to things like shirts, MAYBE plushies, and things of that nature. But it shouldn't stop you from enjoying the other times of merch though!

  16. Hello! I didn't see this topic earlier.

My day was actually kinda bad today, and quite unfortunate, if you ask me. I came out to my friend, and made one little statement. After that, he started getting all weird about why I liked MLP and stuff, judging me based off of simply the fact that it has Ponies in it. When I tried to forcefully with Fluttershy's evil doom logically explain that there's more than the characters to the show, he called me stupid, and a few other things. I stopped talking about it, and reverted the line of conversation to something else.

Other than that, my day's been pretty so-so. Going on the forum after all that happened quickly made the small amount of doubt and anger I had disappear, seeing once more that every day on the forums is a day full of kindness, happiness, joy, and overfull fun and light.

  17. Hey there, and welcome to the forums! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun here smile.png

    I'm also 14 btw wink.png

(oh hey, are we talking computer specs? i'm using my school MacBook, because my desktop has been broken for like a year now img-1407979-1-dry.png

Desktop? DESKTOPPP! DESKTOPPPPPPPPPP! Seriously I hope someone gets that reference. <-- Replace desktop with chocolate. That is your hint.

I have a decent laptop, which is better in every way than my old desktop. I think my brother just messed up in picking one. However....

Welcome welcome welcome, a fine welcome to you! Totally not finishing the song because it's slightly embarrassing because I was yelling it out loud Ima stop there.

  18. I do remember all of my dreams, personally. However, that may be because I make them, instead of just waiting for them to happen.

Because of that, I have the extremely bad habit interesting habit of using my "asleep time" to make up ideas for TV shows. And then animating or recreating them in said dream.

In short, I remember my dreams.

  19. Yay, the first moderator to reply! However, seeing as a moderator was here, I feel slightly worried. I have an extreme fear of people I have a slightly sense that if I post on a topic (Even if it's my own) that I'll be considered spamming. I'm not sure if that's just me being wayyyy over self-conscious or if it's true.

But again. Yay, a moderator replyed!

  20. I'm truly surprised by how active this became. And I love everypony's reactions!

Lowline, I've had a few IRL mishaps myself, however I never notice it until it's too late. Luckily the only people ever around me are my parents, or my friend on the phone. (Thank Celestia I haven't said anything in front of him yet, he would go crazy). It's also amazing to see how many people do use the terms, even if they aren't necessarily always in real life.

Just goes to show that people do grow a fondness for it after a wile.

  21. I've been curious, since I've been seeing it very often on the subject of "MLP-Vocab". If you know what that is, then good for you. If you don't, not surprised.

My question for anyone nice enough to click on the post everyone here is...

Do you use the terms such as: "Dear Celestia" "For Celestia's sake" "This is the greatest thing I've seen in all of Equestria" or any of the other terms that you think you could use?

I haven't seen this question before, because no-one cares so it must be partially original.

Feel free to answer, or feel free to trot along with your day! Did I seriously just use the term trot? (I love strike-throughs)
