  1. Dang, this is pretty good! Did you write this with Twilicorn in mind? I read the comments first so it was impossible for me not to think about Twilicorn as I read through this.

  2. Dang, seems like dubstep has a negative connotation. It has its fans, but alas it has its haters as well. I never really liked using genres because things like this always happen.

I firmly believe that there is great music in every single genre. Yes, a lot of dubstep is kinda generic and insipid but at the same time there are a lot of gems out there. I personally like dubstep, but not every single dubstep song in existence. I was a little skeptical at first because I never really heard dubstep songs I liked, but as time went on I discovered dubstep songs that I found very appealing. Next thing you know I ended up loving dubstep songs. Some of them are really well-made, and are usually accompanied with vocals to die for. I used to instantly shun other genres with genre stigma too such as screamo and rap, but I ended up loving those as well.

People never really give songs a chance because of their genre, which is a shame. They'll hear the first few seconds and think "Oh, it's dubstep" and insta close. They might have ended up really liking that song if they had only given it a chance.

  3. Depends what I'm reading. If I'm talking to someone online or browsing stuff, I usually don't subvocalize. However, I do put on voices when I'm reading a book. I feel like subvocalizing gives you a better sense of the narrative, so that's why. I'll usually imagine some random voice that I feel fits the character speaking. I'll also do voices when I'm reading a fanfiction. For example, if I'm reading a Fluttershy centric fanfic I'll do a Fluttershy voice in my head for her speaking lines. I've heard the Mane 6 speak so many times from watching the show to the point where I can recreate the way they sound with perfect precision in my mind.

  4. I love doing this. I've only been here for about a month so I'm still more or less the same today. However, I've done this in the past with other stuff (Facebook messages, MySpace comments, etc.) and it totally evokes a sense of nostalgia. I'll stumble upon old jokes I totally forgot about or wince at the things I used to say. But yeah, it's pretty entertaining to look back on our past selves.

  5. The account that I signed up for the forum with is a Gmail account, however it's so weighed down with spam that I don't really use it. When I need to send or recieve email, I usually try to use my newish Yahoo account.

Same here. I've had my gmail account for a while now, and yeah it gets a crapload of spam. I made a Yahoo account around a year ago just to try it out, and it's pretty nice. I still use my gmail account more though.

  6. I came across this pretty funny username a little while ago. I was browsing mlp clips on YouTube and ended up on this one where Apple Bloom tickles Spike.

Looked at the username and yeah haha. The guy's named Theticklingfan101 and he uploads clips of cartoon characters getting tickled. I thought it was pretty funny. Not making fun of him btw. I think tickling is pretty awesome myself.

  7. I think I'm most similar to Fluttershy and Twilight. I'm like Twilight because I'm pretty introverted, and will spend much of my leisure time learning about stuff or reading a book. I can also be diffident at times, so there's the Fluttershy similarity. Besides the Mane 6, I can do scooter tricks so I'm kinda like Scootaloo in that respect. It's hard to consider myself similar to the background ponies since we don't actually get to see their canon personalities much. Most depictions of them are from fan works.

  8. Hey there! Welcome to the forums! The community here is great, and I think that you'll love it here. I see your favorite pony is Rainbow Dash! It always warms my heart to meet a fellow Rainbow Dash fan smile.png see you around!

  9. I think I'm decent. I don't see myself as a pro driver but I've never gotten a ticket before or anything like that. It definitely feels weird to drive the first few times, but it gets a lot easier as you continue practicing. After a while it pretty much comes as natural as breathing.

  10. Here are some nice lyrics:

"Your heart is a river that flows from your chest, through every organ. Your brain is the dam, and I am the fish who can't reach the core." - Lightness by Death Cab for Cutie

"Is this the way a toy feels when its batteries run dry?" - Guernica by Brand New

  11. It depends on who you are. One who plays sports probably prefers the daytime, whereas one who is a total astronomy nut probably prefers the night. I'm a night owl personally. I've always enjoyed staying up late at night just going on my computer. The starlight is also beautiful. I like the day too of course, it's just that I like the night more.

  12. Hmm wonder what's up with everything being called *title* One these days. They're naming the new Xbox the Xbox One and now we have this. Interesting..

but yeah I skimmed that Youtube video and I'm kinda apathetic about the change. As long as I can still watch Youtube videos it's fine.
