@ Glitter smiled politely at the swordsman who had spoken to her, who seemed quite confident in his abilities, even arrogantly so. She vaguely remembered that he did something along the lines of Requip, but it was possible it was just swordsmanship. However, before she could respond, the others walked in and also asked her about herself and the mission. @ @@spyke "I am Glitter DeLancie," she said in reply to all of them, then lifted her palm. Above it danced several beams of pure golden light, and she smiled. "I use Light, as you can see. Pure Light, not Light Make. Not only can I manipulate the element, but I can turn myself into it." She laughed a little, shaking her head. "Probably shouldn't do that here, though, it might be too bright for all of you. However, it seems that we have some powerful magical types here." She nodded her head at Ahiko. "I've always been interested in Gun Magic. Looking forwards to seeing if you can use it." Glitter couldn't help but notice that she was the only female member of the team. It was unsurprising, but she still felt a little remorse that someone like Evelyn hadn't been chosen to be a part of this. Glitter couldn't blame them; they were probably nervous, and to be honest, now that the euphoria had worn off, so was she. S-Class jobs were notorious for being very taxing on body and mind, and if they slipped up, they could be seriously harmed. However, she approached them all the same, leaving the others behind her. Extending her hand to the both of them, Glitter smiled again. "Hello," she said quietly, not wanting to come off as brash. "I'm Glitter DeLancie. Not sure I've met you two, what are your names?" (OoC: I'm going to give the other two a chance to respond to Glitter, and then the Master will come. She isn't even in the library yet, so not sure why you're approaching her, haha.)

She liked to get up and make herself some tea before settling down to watch from her bedroom window as the ships went to and fro from the docks, and this morning, that was exactly what she did, settling in her armchair and draping her arm over it, clutching the hot tea. The ocean view cost a pretty penny, but luckily for Glitter, she happened to be in the best magical guild in the world. Well, at least she thought. Glitter turned her eyes to the right slightly and smiled at the familiar gold and red building. An enourmous arrow surrounded by wings of fire proudly gleamed above the letters written below – Phoenix Wing. She could almost see Reagan and the S-Class mages that resided in the upper dorm getting ready for the rush of mages that would come that day for the constant hullaballoo of the interior. Imagining all the drinks Quentin would have to serve and then clean up after they were spilled in some riot, she almost felt bad, but she knew Quentin was half the problem in those fights anyways. In fact, yesterday, she distinctly remembered him chaining a table and bashing poor Evelyn over the head with it, until Felix retaliated with a rather large boulder and Carlos kicked him out a window. It had taken them hours to find him in the ocean. Ah, yes, Phoenix was a crazy place, but it was home, and Glitter loved it all the same. After having a quick bath and tying her hair up in a ponytail after slipping into her dress, Glitter grabbed her bag and rushed out the door, almost forgetting to lock it. After she had triple-checked she had everything, she rushed down the spiral staircase of her apartment, smiling at the other tenants she passed. She was the only wizard in the building, and they all were pretty happy with the free light that she provided. Now on the cobbled streets of Hargeon, Glitter breathed in the fresh sea air and set down the street, elbowing through the Saturday morning market crowd. Each time her ponytail moved, it showed the same mark on the Phoenix Wing roof; her guild mark, forever burned into her skin until the day she left. As if that would happen. Reaching the street entrance to Phoenix Wing, she shoved the door, which neatly swung open. It was still pretty early by the standards of most Phoenix Wing members, who liked to sleep in late, but that was okay with Glitter; she got to see the request board before anyone else did. Reagan got up even earlier than she did, so they were always there by the time she arrived. As always, the inside of the guild glittered, waiting for another day of wanton destruction and general craziness. To her left was the raised platform of the bar, ready for Quentin’s magic drink-mixing hands, and to the right were a multitude of tables with benches attached on a slight raised platform, begging for the rest of the members to arrive. Reagan had said she had an important announcement for today, and Glitter was intrigued. The Master had been hinting at some mission, and Glitter was hoping it’d be the S-Class examination. She felt like she had been waiting years (which she had) to be asked, and she was determined to make it this time. Luck was in Glitter’s hands, because the Master was straight ahead. Smiling at her old friend, Glitter bounded up the steps to where the request board stood. To each side were a set of stairs, but they led to the S-Class rooms, so Glitter wasn’t allowed there…yet. Reagan turned and gave Glitter a little smile as well. She was fairly tall, but curvy, and her face was pretty enough. As usual, she had her brown hair tied in a tight bun on the back of her head, and her bright green eyes were set far back in her face and had a sharp look about them despite the friendly look on the Guild Masters face. Glitter knew that Reagan wasn’t someone to be messed about with; she was one of the 10 Wizard Saints, and her Territory Magic had razed down more enemies than there were fingers and toes to count them on in the guild. “Glitter. First one here. I’m not surprised,” she said in a hoarse voice, winking. Glitter and Reagan went back a long way, but that didn’t mean that Glitter didn’t have to treat her Master with respect like everyone else. “Master Etoile,” she said with a little bow of her head, bouncing on her heels and looking up at the request board. “Any good jobs added today?” Reagan’s eyes turned back to the board. “More of the same. Few protection requests, a couple of retrievals. Nothing really interesting.” However, from the gleam in the Master’s eyes that had replaced the sharp look, Glitter could tell there was something else. “Aw, come on, Master,” she said in a wheedling tone, batting her eyelashes. “You’re holding back on something, aren’t you?” “Ever astute, yet ever impatient,” laughed Reagan, patting Glitter’s shoulder, which hardly came up to her chest. “Don’t worry…when we get everyone here, I’ll explain everything.” Glitter felt her heart sink. This…would take a while. --- The room teemed with people. Phoenix Wing wasn’t a large guild by any standards, coming in only at 27 people (excluding the S-Class and Guild Master), but it was a rowdy place of good friends and it seemed bigger. Glitter found herself squished between a girl with long braids she didn’t recognize on sight and Evelyn, still nursing a bruise on her head from the previous day’s battle royale in the guild. Beaming at the latter, Glitter nudged her. “Think it’s the S-Class announcements?” she asked quietly as they looked up to the platform on the S-Class floor where Reagan always delivered her announcements. Evelyn looked more interested now, nudging Glitter back. “If it is, about time you headed on, isn’t it?” she asked in a friendly voice. “I thought you’d be picked for sure last year.” Glitter laughed and shrugged. “Well, those ones got canceled anyways, so maybe this is better?” However, she glowed at the compliment, though before she could make any more comments Reagan swept up to the stand, Felix and Carlos (the twins and, in the formers case, her fiancée) on her left and right. As usual, Tatiana wasn’t there. The room instantly hushed as Reagan raised her hands, and she stared down at them all commandingly. “I know many of you are under the impression that it is time for the S-Class exams,” she said, and Glitter knew then she was wrong. She didn’t even need Reagan to continue to know it wouldn’t concern her, and the smile slipped from her face. Evelyn patted her shoulder comfortingly, but Glitter still felt hurt. “Unfortunately, the S-Class exam date has not yet been decided for this year, but this announcement is equally important. A large job has come up, one too big for two or even three wizards, and as a result I have held it from the board.” At the indignant muttering, Reagan raised her hand, and the temperature in the room suddenly dropped. Everyone fell silent again, feeling them thrum of the Territory magic around them become almost angry. “Most of the teams of this guild – our guild – are only two or three people. As I need to remain at the guild and our S-Class members are otherwise engaged and therefore unable to go solo, I have hand-selected a team of six members to take this job on. The reward will be equally split among these members upon job completion.” As the room threatened to break into muttering again, the temperature dropped again, signaling for silence. “There are to be no arguments. This is as much a job as an experiment and a test for some of those who have remained untested, because this is an S-Class job.” Glitter’s ears perked up at “S-Class”, and she saw Reagan’s glance flicker to her. The Master winked, once, but it was enough for her. Other members seemed intrigued as well; it was generally not permitted for a normal wizard to take on an S-Class job, but when had Phoenix ever followed the rules, anyways? Everyone else seemed to be listening just a little harder now; everyone had always wanted to see what an S-Class job was like. “The list of members to be attending are as follows,” said Reagan. "Kenji Miyafugi. Onyx Palecaller. Tabris Kazearashi. Ahiko Dai. Ishu Marake. And finally, Glitter DeLancie." The euphoria of being chosen was invigorating, and Glitter beamed. An S-Class job! Even if she had heard of but never seen any of the other members, she was certain she could handle this; this was what she had been training for all this time anyways, right? “Those of you who will be going on this job, meet in the library following this congregation. That is all.” In her usual imperious fashion, Reagan swung her cape about and strode away, followed by the twins. The muttering crowd looked at the chosen in envy, but dispersed, allowing Glitter to dash for the library. As she opened the doors, she glanced around the room and took a deep breath. These were the people that she would be going on the most important job of her life with, and she felt it fit to greet them properly. She hovered in the door, wondering if she should approach any of the vaguely familiar faces or wait for them to greet her… --- (OoC: As you can see, I have Eugene removed for now. I don’t know if I will introduce him or the girl with the long braids as secondary characters, but 7 people is a really big team, so I’ll likely just stick with Glitter. So many things to think about. @~@ In the Fairy Tail RP I'm currently in we generally just decide on a job together or the DM will be like "yo we're doing this one for story progression" and we're all just like "k". So I can come up with a few and we can choose from them, and then others that we need to do in order to progress (ie. the first job will be one I select) will be ones we need for story. I'll make a PM so that we can talk more easily and get notifications more quickly so I don't have to @mention a ton. XD Character profiles are in order; I have changed my magic for Glitter, and she will be using Light, which is similar to the magic of Juvia in that she is able to make her body light, etc. Eugene will continue to use Retrogression, even though I considered giving him Take Over...we'll see. XD Character Name: Glitter DeLancie Character Age: 18 Character Gender: Female (the sole onneeeeee XD) Character Appearance: Glitter has long pink hair she keeps tied back in a high ponytail with a darker pink bow. She has a straight fringe that covers he eyebrows with two longer strips down each side of her face. Her eyes are gold in colour. She is Caucasian. Glitter is really damn short, in fact being the shortest in the guild, but she doesn't let this stop her from using powerful light magic. Her guild mark is also pink and is on the back of her neck. Character Personality: Glitter is pretty stubborn and strong-willed, but she's also very loyal to her friends and is close to the Guild Master, Reagan. She will go to great lengths in order to protect the guild and believes it to be the most important thing to her. Since Phoenix Wing is a fairly male-dominated guild (though ironically their Master is female), Glitter gets along quite well with guys, though she finds many of the ones in her guild boorish and "too tall". However, she does not get along with those who are rude to her, and will hold a grudge a mile long. In fact, she has little pity for those she regards as enemies or unkind people, and often acts unkind in return. She likes glittery things. Character Biography: Glitter always knew she wanted to do magic, she just didn't know what kind. Frustrated with her parents, who refused to allow her to start learning, Glitter would often go on long, solitary walks in the woods near her home, a small village close to Veronica. One day she ran across a young woman who was fighting a group of Dark Wizards in the woods. Wanting to help, Glitter unwittingly unleashed a powerful, red-hot beam of light that, while sending a small section of the forest ablaze, shocked and scattered many of the Dark Wizards, leaving them prone to the Territory magic of the other girl. Grateful for the help that Glitter had given her, the wizard fighting them introduced herself as Reagan Etoile, and invited Glitter to join the guild she was a member of once she was strong enough. Inspired by Reagan and her incredible ability, Glitter left home and began her own training, honing the light magic she had inside her all that time, before finding the very guild that Reagan had been a member of - Phoenix Wing. Happy to see her old friend promoted to its second Master, Glitter happily accepted herself as a member of the guild and has been a loyal one since. Character Abilities and Known Spells/Items/Take Overs: Glitter uses Light, a form of Light magic that allows her to both take the form of a being of light (basically turn herself into it) as well as using deadly and defensive light magic. Spells TBA. Character Name: Eugene Colburt Character Age: 19 Character Gender: Male Character Appearance: Eugene is dismally average. He has average brown hair that is slightly spiky at the ends and hangs to his ears with a right-shifting fringe, and average light brown eyes. He is of an average height, and his skin is an average light coffee tone. He is not too skinny but not too chubby, nor not too wimpy or muscular. He always wears a blue baseball cap, forwards, and usually just jeans and a tee-shirt. His guild mark is burgundy, and located on his right inner arm just past his elbow. Character Personality: Eugene is chill, and used to being the "class clown". He never takes anything too seriously, and is forgiving of mistakes as long as they don't hurt the people he cares about. He'll often use his magic, Retrogression, to play around with his friends, aging them either older or younger, but he's careful not to take it too far. He does, however, have a bit of a temper at times, and if someone pisses him off he will let them know, probably through a few spells. Character Biography: Eugene grew up in Port Hargeon, so he was used to the comings and goings of Phoenix Tail; in fact, his father was the first Master. As a result, it was no real surprise when Eugene decided to start becoming a wizard, though his choice of magic - Retrogression - was a rare and powerful kind. However, his father was incredibly pleased that his son had decided to not only follow in his footsteps as a mage but choose such a powerful magic. However, shortly before Eugene was due to take his S-Class examination, Ricardo (his father) was killed by an incredibly powerful and nameless Dark Wizard. Eugene was too shaken up to take the exam, and his magical power took a severe blow. However, as the time passed, he vowed revenge and began to use his power again, waiting for the day he'd find that wizard. Character Abilities and Known Spells/Items/Take Overs: Eugene uses Retrogression, which allows him to make targets younger, hindering their movement, magical and physical ability, and causes the target to take more damage and use more magic and stamina. Spells TBA. MAY BE SWITCHED TO TAKE OVER.

@ I have one female character (Glitter). I get the feeling that she is going to be coveted very much, haha. @ This RP will go on as long as you guys want, I honestly don't care. There are tons of opportunities for us to do stuff, from the Dark Guild I have planned to Grand Magic Games, so it can be short or long. And I will be posting the link to the actual RP up top as well as mentioning you all in the RP OP! I agree, Levy is one of my favourites! SOLID SCRIPT AND SMART GIRLS YEAH. I have a figurine of her and another of Gajeel so I always lean them against each other so they're kissing I mean what Lucy is still my favourite girl though. I use GURPs for a lot of my tabletop and online tabletop RP's solely because I find it offers a bit more diversity than a lot of other systems. My tabletop character is a whore (no, seriously, she's a prostitute) and most other systems frown down upon that sort of thing becoming an actual part of her character. Now, however, she can do a lot more with that, which allows me to expand on her quite a bit.

I'd rather have some unfair laws then be dead in a gutter because there are none. But hey, maybe that's just me.

I hate the definition of "cute" that many people follow. I don't think that being shy to the point of limited social interaction, crying more, and being a pushover are good qualities, though many people seem to be attracted to things like that. It also, in many cases, seems to be such a put-on that it's actually depressing that people believe this person actually acts like a standard run-of-the-mill anime character that's shoved in for the purpose of "being cute". I don't know. It just really bothers me. If I'm looking for a potential partner, then I'm not looking for someone who's just gonna do some weird fake-ass squeaky voice and stutter like some broken record when the truth of the matter is that you're just subjecting yourself to some crappy social norm that it's going to make you attractive, either physically or personality-wise. I have less than 0 interest in you as a friend or a potential partner, in that case. :x

I'd prefer that you don't make a NPC (especially an S-Class) as they're only really filler for the guild so it's not just an independent guild...however, PM me and we can negotiate a possible use for them as a villain later in the RP?

Unless they get some of the original writers back, I imagine it will be terrible. I'm a big PPG fan, always have been, and the show got good for being written and produced by those who have originally been working on it. I don't want it to be rebooted, personally; I always find it sad when a really great show is remade or rebooted and ends up spoiling the amazing original. It may cater more to today's kids and end up being child-like and dull.

This is a roleplay that I have wanted to do for a bit now, and I finally got around to it. Please note, however, that this RP does not take place in the Fairy Tail guild. I do not like messing with canon, so it takes place in another guild called Phoenix Wing, which is basically Fairy Tail but not actually LOL. This RP will not use canon guilds; all other guilds will be ones that have been made up solely for the story, so please do not mention other guilds! It's almost a "parallel universe" type of setting. ^^ While the beginning of the story will revolve around the guild just doing odd jobs, etc., there will eventually be a more sinister plot that emerges surrounding a Dark guild, so look forwards to that. The members that apply for this will be a part of Pheonix Wing’s next elite team, Blazed Glory! HURRAH AND ALL THAT. Rules: 1. As the DM, I have the right to reject your character prior to the start of the RP, the right to say whether or not a certain magic may be used (see the below list), and the right to eject members of the RP once it has started without explanation (I will give you one, though, haha). 2. Only one user per type of magic! If everyone in the guild uses Requip, we aren't going to have much fun experimenting or any magical diversity. If you think they are ''the one'' at 16 and a half, you're probably incorrect. Don't jump into something hardly knowing what is going on, and remember your hormones are a huge factor in attraction, not just the genuine kind. Also, it seems you have a boyfriend. Is it fair to do that to him?

I was not being aggressive, so it appears there has been a miscommunication on your end. I am a naturally shitty person to deal with, however, which is why I don't come here much anymore and why I am not friends with anyone here excepting a few. I was also uninformed that you were helping Alex Kennedy with the roleplay and that you were a part of the OC selection process. Well, I don't know if that would happen. If you rather I don't join, then that's fine. Also the "future seeing" is not anything definitive. As I said, it is only snippets, and most of them are very confusing anyways, generally vague symbols. In addition, it does not work very well if at all on humans, only really objects. (The only reason I added humans was to have the information pass so he could be applicable to the story, not the actual ability of past/present/future sight.) However, I can see that I am not getting off to a good start with the people here, as per usual, and perhaps it is best that I am denied access. Who knows?

Eden of the East: strong characters, but fairly confusing and convoluted storyline for the first few episodes (you get the hang of it) Neon Genesis: Evangelion: lots of explosions and dark characterization Btooom!: death game anime about bombs whoooo what is there not to like Tsuritama: not as heavy as the others; comedy/SoL/completely random, but really beautifully animated and voiced acted Tomorrow's Joe: TAKE TISSUES. It's a sports anime, but trust me...it's really, really, REALLY REALLY worth it Fairy Tail: not the best anime in the world, I confess, but it's got some great and hilarious characters, touching moments, SICK magic, and interesting, fresh storylines, humour, and everything else that makes it pretty classic Pani Poni Dash: hilariously "wat" Baka and Test: another rom-com that will make you laugh pretty hard Blood+: dark and gory, but interesting enough concept. It's not the best anime out there by a long shot, but I was entertained, and I liked the character design Blue Exorcist: gonna admit that it's one of the few "overhyped" animes that I genuinely LOVED. It's unique for sure, and it has an overbearing father/uncle figure, so that is good in my books Edit: Steer clear of: -Attack on Titan -Sword Art Online -Dragon Ball -Full Metal Alchemist -Bleach -Soul Eater (oh got the animation hurts me ;~; ) -FUTURE DIARY (IT IS GOD-AWFUL AAAH) I personally find all those series very generic or dull despite the hype they get. However, Trigun and Cowboy Bebop are worthy of the praise they're getting here, so I would watch them. Of course, everyone has different tastes, but remember that popular doesn't necessarily equate to good.

I HAVE NO SHAME IN THAT I BOUGHT A CUSTOM-PAINT BRIAR BEAUTY AND KITTY CHESHIRE WELL MOSTLY NO SHAME *coughs* One of mine would also be Ever After High. It is literally cancer but the best possible kind. I love it. Also, Fairy Tail. Let's be honest, it's not the best anime in the world, but I love it all the same.
