    So, as the title goes, what has your state/country provided that contributed to the world? It can be something historical, factual, or something humorous. With me, being from Virginia, my state's greatest contribution is Lamb of God. Being from Richmond, they are one of my favorite bands of all time and one of the pioneers of new American metal.

    I've been seeing a fair amount of status updates where people have had some things broken (pianos, chairs, ect) and I'm just curious to see what some of you have broken. I, myself accidently broke my glasses. I was cleaning the lens when all of a sudden the frame broke. I have now been going "blind" for about a week now.
