It may be funny now, but when people saw this in let's say 1957, they were scared out of their minds, since back then, a complete nuclear holocuast could have occurred between the USA and her allies vs the soviet union and it's satellites.

Actually, the 1950s were very futuristic, not like today, but they had huge ideas. Like they invented the first nuclear capable ballistic missiles, almost everybody had a tv set of sorts, The standard of living was truthfully better than today, but that is just my opion on the matter. Also I plan by 1957 for a nuclear war to start between T.U.P.A(The United Pony Alliance) and the changeling pact. T.U.P.A. should be a defensive alliance between equestria and the Chrystal empire. The changeling pact should also be a defensive alliance between chrysalis' empire and her satellite states she won after the 2 great pony war. Each chapter may be short, but. There will be many chapters. I will be changing the paragraph format in the second chapter though, since I was not sure on how to make a story look professional, remember this is my first major fanfic. Just so that nobody will be confuesed by the changing format of the paragraphs. I will post a link to the first chapter when it is done, I'm guessing that it will take me at the least 7 months to finish the trilogy or even just the first book. Also if you are wondering why romance is in one of the tags, Luna and big Mac will have something during the entire trilogy. Until then.... My first book of the my little cold saga. It is 1949, the changeling pact has conducted a atom bomb test. Which makes celestia and her allies very nervous so they form a new defensive alliance called T.U.P.A(The United Pony Alliance) to help defend themselves if chrysalis attacks. Chrysalis views this as a basic offense to her empire, so she creates a new alliance with her satellite nations as well, the changeling pact. Read to see what will happen next! It takes place from 1949 to 1963. This story takes place in the modern era, so unlike the tv show, there will be huge city's, cars, factories, airplanes, trains and fashion according to the year. Well, Ill just tell you some stuff about me. I will write a story about a apocalyptic situation on a cold war with the crystal empire and celestia as the allies and the changeling kingdom as the axis. It will be set in between 1949 until around jm 1962. But unlike the real cold war between the USA and the u.s.s.r., this war will go nuclear. Chysalis will do something so horrid that it will lead to nuclear obliteration. The story will start in 1949 when celestia and her subjects are informed chrysalis has conducted a atom bomb test. It will be a long story but it will be worth it. As I have stated, this takes place in the modern era, so there will be trains, city's, cars and other stuff etc. I will have the first chapter ready as soon as I can, but at the least it might take a year and a half to complete the main part of the trilogy. If all of you want info on me, well here is some. I ONLY like classic and vintage things. Fashion, music, cars, way of life etc. If you want to know which era I'm stuck in, it is between 1902-1963. I'm also in to famous ship siinkings as well, like Lusitania, Wilhelm gustloff and most of all... Titanic. Well there is some info about me...
