Historically, and originally, it more often to "a sovereign otherwise unspecified" rather than to the son (or daughter in the case of princess) of a king/emperor etc... The book of Machiavelli "The prince" refers to any ruler from the ottoman emperor to the prince of monaco.

yeah the brony community spammed cards vs humanity with an mlp deck... which is jarring and disgusting to say the least. That game is NOT pony friendly. I also don't like the way many in the fandom exaggerate how dark the show is(I find the size of this shows nightmare fuel list on tvtropes laughable). Yes it goes further than most shows for little girls(though adventure time is technically a kids show and goes much further than mlp ever will), but I think it's darkness is purely relative. It is still very much a young girls show. A really good one.

Honestly I can't think of anything I dislike about the brony community that is unique to this one. Having been a part of the elder scrolls video game fandom for a long time, I can say right off the bat that nothing in the brony community matches their infighting and level of fandumb. I do dislike the rule 34 group... but again they exist in every fandom, and are only really flagrant in this case because it's a kids show and because this is one of the first kids shows with such wide appeal, so they'll be more prominent in the eyes of the public than people who want ruler 34 of dora the explorer.

Rarity has the biggest butt? Really? What on earth makes you think that. I can see why Pinkie pie would but.... Personally I think Pinkie has the biggest butt, followed by applejack, but hers is all muscle.

Medieval peasants consumed about 4000 calories daily, and that still wasn't enough to keep up with what they burned so... While she almost certainly eats alot, it's very likely that it wouldn't make a difference. She may well be wiry.

While it's a viable explanation there's a simpler one in light of the facts. We need only assume that he was a jerk to explain his actions. If we assume that he was a racist, we still have to assume that he was a huge jerk. A general case is always more likely than a more specific one. Edit: Though I guess the fact that he wasn't a Crystal pony himself means that racism might have made him more likely to seek the opportunity to enslave the crystal ponies, rather than some other group he was closer to. However one wonders why racism didn't lead him to exterminate them instead, as that's where racial hatred tends to lead. The sort of racism that leads to (or rather justifies) enslavement has generally been grounded in some kind of excuse that amounts to the people's lack of culture , but if anything the crystal ponies seemed pretty advanced.

Hardly, I was an outcast to begin with, so it wouldn't really make a difference. Plus, MLP is so awesome, I'm positive even I could convert a bunch of people.

My favorite has to be fluttershy. She's sweet as can be, unthreatening, and reminds me of a very very dear friend of mine.. As for secondary characters, my favourite is Princess Luna. I relate very much to her social awkwardness and adore her Gothic aesthetic sense.

Twilight: She's basically a grad student and I can cite research showing that virginity is very common among grad students. Add her social awkwardness to the mix and it becomes very very likely that she's never had much of a relationship. Fluttershy: I can't imagine her having been with anyone. Though the trope of the demure woman who's secretly a sex fiend is pretty widespread, I think that her shyness etc.. hints to a certain sense of privacy that might make her wary of sexual relationships. I'm fairly unsure about the rest. To be perfectly honest I have a very heard time imagining any of these ponies in any kind of sexual or romantic scenario.

Maybe it's a strange thought, but I'd like to see if Luna's living space is as Gothic as her chariot and guardponies. She seems to live in Canterlot Castle... Though frankly I think she ought to have a place of her own, much as Cadence does.

He is voiced by John De Lancie, who also did Q, and is basically an expy thereof. Even when Q isn't being malicious, he's still incredibly dangerous. Maybe that could work?
