If someone did that it still would be useless as the US DVDs and Blu Rays wont work in system from other regions unless they are region free DVDs/Blu Rays.

Thanks for replying what you both said does make sense and it does seem to make more sense now that I think about it but that scene didn't entertain me much anyway as I don't like football.

I became a brony in April 2013 as I had heard about My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic but I never thought of watching it. I just thought it sounds good but I can't be bothered to watch it. In school I knew that two of the boys in my class watched it and they were talking about it one day in April so I asked them what it was like and told them that I had heard about it but not watched it and they told me to watch it. They also said to watch a few episodes at first just to give it a bit of a chance and that I could download some episodes from youtube, so when I got home I downloaded the first five episodes and watched them and I enjoyed them so I started watching more until I had watched them all (it took me a weekend to watch them). That is the story of how I became a brony.

What was the point of the part where Rainbow Dash challenged Twilight to a game of 1-on-1 football? I don't get why it happened if Rainbow Dash was going to help anyway. Who else thinks the football scene was pointless?

I emailed hasbro a while back and they said there wont be a cinema release in the uk and i bought tickets yesterday for it on 10/8/13 i asked them last week if they will have a dvd release and they said the same as when i asked if it will be in the cinema so i still have hope

I'm in the exact same situation as you except I need them to bring it out in wales but from what i have heard it wont be brought here as they havent released any region 2 dvds of friendship is magicbut if you got a multi region dvd player you could buy equestria girls from amazon.com but then it would cost a lot for postage

for those interested there is now a torrent for equestria girls on tpb i wont link it as that is probably against site rules but its a 2 gb file but i wouldnt download it if i was you as its only the first 30 minutes and you can hardly see the film

@Forlong I wouldn't mind buying it on DVD but it isn't possible for me if they gave it a cinema release in Wales I would pay to see it but I can't

For me the only thing I can do is watch online or download it. It's either that or use a VPN to make Netflix think I am viewing from America as it most likely won't be released in the UK seeing as how none of the DVDs of Friendship Is Magic got released here and the only way I can buy it is if I get an import from America and then I won't ever be able to watch the import as it won't play on my Region 2 DVD player.
