    Shady glanced towards the mare she had bumped with a flat expression placed upon her features. "Sorry, didn't see you there." She stated in a calm, almost cold tone of voice. Looking the pony over, she held back a slight smirk. Maybe she could use knowing somepony here for her advantage. "Are you alright?" Her tone was suddenly warmer than her last statement.

    Shady sighed once her snack was finished, turning in the plate and mug to be washed before leaving the cafe. Pulling the hood of her coat back over her head, she made her way outside to see if there was anything interesting to do in the snow. After a few moments, she bumped into a mare, not paying attention to where she was going.

    Shady slowly finished off her muffin after a few more bites, lifting her cup of cocoa for another sip to hide a smirk that crept onto her muzzle while listening in on the conversation further. 'Ponies these days obsess about talents too much...It's almost silly.' She thought to herself, setting her mug down onto the table. The thought caused a small image to pop into her head; how she thought her own talent was mostly useless. Not that she would tell anypony that.

    Shady chuckled ever so slightly to herself while listening to the two ponies converse next to her, keeping to herself despite the amusement she was getting. 'Such obviousness. But, I guess that is the way of the stallion,' she thought silently to herself while taking a sip of cocoa. 'Though, it might be nice to at least get some form of attention from time to time.'

    Shady sweveled her ears to listen in on the voices that came from the table behind her, simply taking another bite of her muffin. Though, she didn't usually care about the speakers or what was said, she always found something about evesdropping to be very entertaining.

    Getting ever so slightly peckish, Shady stood up from her seat by the fireplace and quietly picked up her bag from the floor. She slowly made her way straight for the lodge's cafe to see what they had to offer. Without much thought, she ordered a simple blueberry muffin and some hot cocoa before taking her things to a table next to one occupied by a yellow and cyan mare. She didn't give her surroundings much thought as she took a bite out of her snack and sipped her cocoa.

    After a short while, a charcoal-colored earth pony mare stepped in through the doors of the warm ski lodge, a thick brown coat closed up tight around her with the fuzzy hood over her head to keep her ears warm. Shady remained silent as she simply scanned the room around her for anything of interest, cantering up to the front desk to check in. Pulling her hood down, she stated her name in an uncaring tone and received her key, deciding to check her room later. She picked up her single bag containing just a few pieces of warm clothing and a few other items in her, making her way towards the fireplace where she would sit and rest after the long trip there.

    One thing that I absolutely love about Pinkie is actually something I strive for myself. She's nice to everyone she meets and just wants to be their friend to see them smile. I personally think that trait she has just makes her no only absolutely adorable, but just extremely kind and caring. As for other aspects about her, I grew up with the old Loony Toons and Tom and Jerry cartoons, so her brand of slapstick humor, fourth wall breaking and just all-around randomness is something that hits me right in the childhood in a fantastic way.

    I have to say I was mostly indifferent before Friendship is Magic appeared. The ponies just looked so...meh overall that they just never hooked my attention in any real way, shape or form. Not to mentions, outside of the animation, the G1 ponies almost looked like hippos.

    I'm currently using Windows 7 for my laptop, and I'm happy with it. Haven't seen any major glitches or anything of that sort yet. And hey, it's still better than using Vista or 8.

    I personally preser Colgate as well; mainly because you just see more of her overall than Carrot Top, so she has a touch more personality to her. Though, I still like Carrot top without a doubt. My vote could easily change if she becomes a bigger character in the works.
