Grand closed the shop and headed to the castle. Quite a crowd had gathered outside of the castle and wounded guards were everywhere. "Wow this must've been quite the fighter. There's rubble all over the place. This is truly a mess" she said, looking at the terrible scene

"I'm quite sorry, if there was a way I could stop it I would. Honestly it seems like this war exists just for the sake of making everyone miserable. But I can guarantee it won't be long before ill be on my way there as well" she said quietly. " maybe we should go see whats going on at the castle, something is up"

A few young ponies walked into the shop and dropped a few bits on the table, asking for some bread " why yes! of course you adorable little things!" she galloped across the store to the bread and put it down on the table " first customer all day" she whispered to Stone " please come again soon!" the young ponies walked out. suddenly several gaurds ran past the store on their way to the castle " now what do you suppose is going on now?" Grand wondered. ahe looked up at the castle and noticed the giant hole blown into the castle throne room. " oh dear.." Grand muttered for the umpteenth time that day

"Nice? HA, theres nothing nice about equestria now. I suppose it works for its situation. Damn war. oh my. I completely forgot! you said you had gotten the.. um, letter? have you served before?" she asked quietly " I havent gotten sent out yet, so I know that my letter is not very far away." she muttered, digging through the back of the shop " ah HA" she exclaimed, running over to the pegasus" these herbs should numb the pain, and i might have some smelling salts in the back..."

Grand Finale watched the Griffin fly off to the castle " that big oaf is going to get all of Canterlot sent into the warzone!" she ranted, going into her own little world. " I have many other things I would rather do than fight other ponies, not to mention this damn shop to upkeep!" her ranting trailed off as she went to search for more medical supplies

Grand flushed even more red than she already was " oh dear..." she trailed off, still working on bandaging up the wounded pony. she hoped the griffon wouldnt lose his temper, as she reflected on her last little outburst. she watched the two carefully out of the corner of her eye

Grand noticed the steel feather and quickly stopped it with her telekenesis " enough is enough, all of you!" she screamed, completely exhausted by the amount of violence she has dealt with today. "please, not today. not in my shop." she walked over the barely concious pegasus and bandaged up his wounds with some old sheets she had found.

Grand screeched "WHAT IN EQUESTRIA ARE YOU DOING! is there not enough violence and murder outside the city walls as it is! IF you must continue, do it elsewhere, as i REFUSE to support such barbaric behaviour in my shop!" her overhwelming anger set off her emotion spell, and the feeling of anger and stress intensified in the room

Grand finale watched the two interact, and decided not to interfere for once. She quietly stacked what little supplies she had left." I do hope I haven't caused any trouble for you, I tend to run my mouth often. Is there anything I could do to help?" She said quietly after the griffi. Flew off

Grand Finale looked out the window to see the friendly pony from earlier battered and passed out. "oh dear.." she mumbled, galloping out into the street, and straining to use her magic to carry Flare back to her shop. once there she lowered Flare onto the counter, and went to look for a first aid kit, with no luck. "dammit" she cursed, and looked around for something to help the pony

Grand's jaw dropped" that is incredible! how on earth did you learn that spell? it seems that all unicorns have such lovely spells, and I can do basic spells" she huffed. a loud rumble echoed through the shop as an old building nearly collapsed. " IS THAT REALLY NECASSARY YOU IGNORANT LITTLE HEATHENS" she screamed out the door. " we really dont need violence in the towns AS WELL as out, she ranted to herself, walking into the backroom to try and restock what she could

Grand eyed the pony "quick fix? that thing is absolutely shattered! We'll have to buy a new one" she stated, grabbing the broom and sweeping up the glass pieces. "unless you are some sort of miracle worker, that thing might as well be money thrown out the window" several steel feathers flew into the shop and broke what little glass remained in the window frame "well thats just fantastic!" she huffed

Grand Finale whipped her head around "oh you poor dear, I apologize for my silly little sale act, I only do it to earn bits. please, is there anything I can do to help? we still have... a little food left." She walked over and picked up a stale loaf of bread and handed it to Stone" I wont be getting my paycheque anyways. This window might take up two paycheques by itself" she sighed

quickly cleaning herself off, Grand FInale walked over to the sad looking mare and threw on her best salespony face "Hi! welcome to the Canterlot grocer, where your needs are sometimes met!" she beamed, stating the new company motto. She hated being such a greedy pony to the clients, but it was how she earned her bits." Can i help you find anything?" she looked back and realized that nearly all the food had been taken "well thats just peachy" and began to start cleaning up the broken glass

Grand Finale stared at the pony "Why, I am a pony with manners! i wouldn't just take something! especially with so many other ponies that don't even have a roof over their heads!" she stuttered, but after a moment of silence she quickly grabbed the food and stuffed it in her face "Don't judge me!" she mumbled in between bites

Grand FInale realized her mistake immediately "look, I apologize for raising my voice, sometimes my mouth runs faster than my brain" she sputtered She realized that this creature could easily kill her. "just don't hurt me, I'm already starving, and everyone knows how easily we can be sent to that..place, I am so sorry, please take anything you like" there goes the rest of her paycheque. her and her big mouth In her panic she didn't ecen realize the man was gone

Grand FInale jumped as the window shattered. "shit, thats gonna come out of my paycheque" she mumbled to herself. She had been scraping along as a janitor in the small store and knew she would be the one to take the blame. " excuse me sir, but do you REALIZE how expensize that window was? that there might be enough to send all of us into that hellhole!" oops, she lost her temper again. This would not end well
