    Yeah he is my OC, you'd think that I am a fanboy over him, well I say no!
    Why? because he is bloody generic!
     
    Lets face these facts, he is not with the best backstory, he comes from a distant island, a foreigner to Equestria (basically from Japan but there you go)
    and he drops into the world at a bad time (big surprise) and turns out having to serve a cause he did not expect (bigger surprise there!)
     
    Yeah the most different thing about the just of the backstory is the time period, the Era of chaos, when Discord first took power over Equestria, day and night and so forth.
     
    He wants to defeat Discord, of course he would, he is a good guy (kinda)
    But can he, literally no he is not allowed to! it was the princesses who defeated Discord, not some samurai pony. So he fails his attempt to taking him down, of course he does xD and some bla bla bla stuff is described as to what happens after. things go down and he later crops up in modern times. "wait, wut?"
    Turned to stone or something, who cares really. its a character you won't have to bother with anyway.
     
    Some things I don't like the use of but force them anyway because I want a few things to happen to the character.
     
    1 Generic hell, he is immortal (somewhat)
    Why is this, well he dies early on. and guess what, Celestia uses magic to bring him back from the dead because he is of use. but did the spell wear off? heck no! he will be able to regenerate his mental and physical state forever. without giving him any advantage over others, he can still die in combat, get ill and ect.
    Its really just an excuse to let him get to the present. when I think about it at least.
     
    2. He's killed (everypony does these days)
    I guess you can say "well he is a samurai so he has to kill" really? cant he go non lethal, just use that sort to disarm and protect himself? aparently not, he has taken lives, mainly bandits though, but yeah.
     
    3. A parent is dead (like a super hero!)
    Generic again!
    His mother dies shortly after he was born so he never knew her. :I
     
    4.Something is dark about this one.
    He is corrupted by a very strong type of chaos, which will eventually make him side with evil ones such as Discord. you cannot stop it without a good dose of harmony but that does not remove it all, it will just come back again and again, delay the inevitable Hyper, delay...
     
    5. he does something regular lore either does not mention, or hint is possible.
    Enter alternative magic! a lost art form that gives pegasai and ponies the chance to do Unicorn stuff and partake in magical acts, yet is limited to elemental abilities, such as pyromancy, cyromancy, electromancy and so many others. its like bending in avatar except more variety and its open to everyone.
     
    I should probably rewrite this dang thing, but I don't have time to rework ideas that honestly still get a good public reception from some users here, (maybe they did not read the character bio and went with the pretty pictures)

    It has been ages since the last update and ages since I actually did something with the story, I just keep getting so many distractions put in my face, and no school projects are not one of them those are all sorted nice and early
    My problem lies with the fact I keep shifting to other projects and ideas instead, I end up just working on that and that alone, mainly right now making bloody maps for tf2 and CS:GO which I've not finished one of!
     
    The reason I want to make this story is literally to alert the community of some great original characters about such as Amber Aura and Moonlight, I do not feel like Hyper will make it far out there at all honestly but the other characters about in this story I think will do very damn well!
    I do find it funny how I have little hope of Hyper getting popular, despite developing the character for 6 months but he is in my opinion a character that just does not fit in the mlp universe, at least not in the state I put the bugger in, maybe its the creator's curse but its how I feel, but I'm still willing to keep going with the guy as I still want to try.
     
    I want to talk about the OCs I'm using shortly since a lot of the permissions for their use I fear have been forgotten as time has passed.
     
    Amber Aura is one of the characters I find most interesting and fun to write for, as the OC's creator has already given a list of ghost powers, I can use them creatively throughout the story and keep her as a fun and enjoyable character.
     
    Moonlight is a great character too, a lot of her backstory and personality will make appearances through the story that make sense, such as hidding her wings and dragon eyes, use of dark magic and much more, and no, she is not a evil character. I feel that the character has a good heart and I'm not going to ruin that for any of the readers, just know that she is a very important character through parts of the story.
     
    Eice is a second character I made alongside Hyper although no proper documentation of him exists, yet a clear image of him lies out in my mind everyday, he is quite similar to Hyper in terms of having a hoof in alternative magic but a lot of other things are different to him, he has a fighting style different to Hyper, favouring the use of small, subtle equipment as a backup plan, while Ice is his main weapon to shut down threats by freezing them solid.
     
    on the side note two characters were made up for this story that I probably won't do much with after the story is over.
    Princess Necra is one, I've gone into detail about her before in that rant, she has involvement in a lot of things when a character dies in the story, also gives an explanation as to why Amber could return as a ghost and other things that I won't say because. Spoilers...
     
    Captain Griffon is another character that won't have much done with them, its a made up character by me and he is the captain of Celestia's royal guard at this period of time, considering that the story is pretty much 2000 years before Shining Armour was born, I'm allowed to do this
     
    There are other characters like Hyper's dad and his teacher in alternative magic but they have been cut as I wan't to leave his detailed backstory back home for another time, for now I want to introduce the characters.
     
    Thats' all for now, I wan't to get writing again but now I have to meet up with a few people because my courses next year clash -_-

    Yeah I have these at times, I never write them though, so this time I sat down shut up and wrote it down, grammar and spelling sucks since its well, a rant!
     
    It is based on the story problems, character development and the characters I used, also my thoughts on common story telling and what I hate about some of them, enjoy
     
    I went for a walk this morning to try and get ideas for my story, fill in all the little nit picking gaps so I can release the first chapter, even though that this is the final version, I still sit here feeling like it was the first, at least I know the direction of the story eh? but still I did come up with some ideas, but music was sidetracking me, ripped my headphones out of my phone at that point to have my thoughts to myself, and I kept dealing with the same problem when I thought about it, why should we care for the characters, I kinda feel I've just gone, BOOP here is a character, try and connect please NO damnit, I do not want to go about like that, its terrible story telling at the very least so I feel like I should put aside some of the time taking scenes to allow for better development, get to know the characters and feel connected and invested, but thats hard when we have a exiled samurai, a ghost pony and a pony who lives in a winter wonderland, then again, hat odd combo might make the story more fun, I would not say like a super hero story, I do not like that style when trying to amke epics, unless its by Nolan still, I want to talk about the action parts now, and how I've changed them about too, I've realised that a lot of the action scenes stick the focus to one character per scene, and they seem very spuratic, no real hinting that its happening. so I might work on that more but its during Discords rule of Equestria, I can make it random as fuck, I even had the idea of making the farm crops uproot and run off, leaving ponies hungry! whats wrong with me hahaha. I have the biggest trouble when dealing with character relationships mainly, I do not wan't them to be the common fodder, I do not want to have two characters get together just because they are opposite gender and have a large role in the story, I think that is a pet peeve for most readers as well, so I'm glad I'm edging myself away from that bollocks, so both the characters in this story will not be getting together with the others, I might do some hints towards a relationship, but I will pull the rug from under you to show you how predicable this stuff is, it could be a funny crack at the commom media and their storytelling methods, feeling that everyone has to find someone before the story wraps up, maybe this is why I like finding nemo so much, since they never got together, I hope finding dory keeps this in mind when that comes out. where was I. OH YEAH, I also have concerns with the ending, I won't tell you because spoilers, I do not want to punish people who liked me enough to read all of this in one day but its not a typical ending, there are still questions to be asked and such I don't feel like it is satisfying, but reality never is, I am acturaly considering to while end current story arcs, hint at more incase a sequel is ever wanted, deal wityh other fun periods in their history like Luna's uprising and banishment .
    Moving on I've realised that there are only 3 Cannon characters in this story, Celestia Luna and Discord, everyone else are either OC's or characters I made for the plot, some I might develop more such as Eice and Princess Necra but I don't know yet, Incase you are wondering Eice is Hyper's brother in arms and Princess Necra is the ruler of the afterworld. You know what, I'll share that story with you. princess Necra is the first Alicorn to die, doing so she became the ruler over the afterlife, or afterworld as its called, those who pass on are sent here in spirit and they acn live out normal lives, some don't realise their death ever, no one ages and no one can suffer, except those of great evil, Necra herself is very unusual, lot less direct minded comapred to the other alicorns or princesses in the living world, she has a bigger thing for action and combat, doing so she takes an interest in some of the greatest fighters, and those not hesitant to take a life for the benifit of others, so people like Hyper and Eice fall into her good books, I just hope she does not try anything when they do die.
    Now I forget my standing, since thats happened I will stop here, sigh, I really should have used this keyboard time to write more story, I can do that now, CYA

    Its been a while since my first update sadly but I'm not going to let people think Chaos in Me is a lost cause of mlp fanfiction, it is still in the works but I am having some story and character development problems, Instead of writing the story at the moment I have been reading and watching countless stories and shows, both good and bad to see what they have done right and what is done wrong, watching critic reviews are especially handy for this purpose.
     
    As I want this to be it's own story with it's own characters, I want this to be rather unique; however I know that I also must be faithful to my source material, which is mlp:fim lore, being Discords original take over of Equestria, and later getting turned to stone, I want to give my characters a purpose within this lore, without forcing a modification in the cannon lore that is given which means I must compromise.
     
    Giving the cannon characters in the story faithful as well is sometimes a little issue, making the Discord moments in my view of good is very, very hard to do; my writing is not normally based around comedic efforts, I do not normally try to make a story funny, I enjoy moderately dark, intense stories, which is one of the main reasons the story is in it's time, Equestria in Chaos allows a lot of story telling in individual characters as well as groups, getting the sadness, desperation and confusion that would have come along in these times, and this allows for some fun combat moments as well, considering Hyper is a samurai pyromancer, I would like to use his abilities to the full advantage but not make him in any sense overpowered, I won't give out spoilers but there are special details in this story about Hyper that you will not find anywhere in his character log, and I sure as heck won't tell you.
     
    So in a sense,
    Writing the final version of Chaos in Me (CIM)
    Is at a depressing 2% done
    And that is only research and working with ideas to see what works. hardly a thing is written on paper :I

    I have made this story know slightly, but I think I'll let people know about it more through these blog entries on how everything is coming along.
    3 versions were made and now the final version of the story is being written, the story is called "Chaos in me" and is a sort of backstory fanfiction for the character Hyper Bastion.
     
    Currently writing in the first chapter, explaining the time period and situation as well as introducing the main characters, slowly but surely.
    Being Discord's first take over of Equestria, I get to have fun with the chaos he brings to Equestria, some fun ones are crops literally sprout
    some legs and run away from the farms, I'm not giving away the others for now, I'll just leave a little taste.
     
    Small extracts of the story will be available in later updates.
     
    Not much of a blog post but better than nothing
