    Hi im back . its been a weird year for me, ex move out, car trouble, yadayada. its taken me a while but im finacualy back on track n i think i have most of the equipment i need to start a review show . ive begun voice recording (that parts hard because i hate my own voice.) and ive got mot of the art assets done. im hopeing later tonight i might be able to post some samples n get some feedback. anyway im going to be keeping up with this more regularly and hopefuly life wont though anymore boulders in my way... at least for a while.

    Well I'm sorry I haven't been very active on here lately. Life has really gotten in the way lately. Mu girl friend of the past 3 years has left me. Mostly because I enjoy My Little Pony, a very close friend of mine had some kinda episode and cut off all comunication with me after insulting me for no reason, ive been kinda sick lately and have had to miss work, that has caused me to be repremanded at work, my boss thinks I have a mentle disorder, I was hopeing to go to bronycon but due to recent damaged to my home I can't aford to do that. So yeah things have been kinda rough for me lately.
     
    I'm not trying to complain or anything. I really want to be more active on here and in the fan comunity as a whole but with a broken computer and no money its going to be hard. I have lots of stuff planed and I want to start makeing videos and art work but for the forseeable future I just don't have the resourses to do any of the things I want. As soon as I'm able too I'm going to start posting silly videos on youtube, more as personal therapy but I hope I entertain.
     
    Don't know why but I just feel a need to apologize. There's something about this fan comunity that makes me feel obligated to contribute in some way, and I've been a complet failure in that reguard. I'm sorry.

    Funny story I'm out at the store just shopping while wearing my doctor Whooves shirt. well out of no where i hear a woman whisper, rather loudly o_O, "he's a Brony." I turn and she shes saying this to who I would guess is her young son. now there was no disparaging tone to her voice or anything and I don't mind letting others know I'm a Brony but there was just something strange in the tone of her voice. Like she had just seen some wild animal you only ever see in nature documentary and she wanted to warn her son that any sudden moves might "spook" me and I'll gallop off to the cover of nearby foliage. I was actually rather amused so I just turned and shoot her a smile and carried on, but is this a common reaction by most to seeing us? or are Bronies just so rare in my area that most people have never seen one?

    Wow I've been busy tonight, I've painted orks, worked on a custom Vinyl Scratch and repainted my "Design a Pony" Luna figure i bought last week.
     

     
    she no where near finished but i'm loving how she looks so far. I don't think its showing up to well but i used that starlight varnish on her tail and I intend to use it on her mane. also need to paint her shoes, I was thinking a metallic blue or maybe silver. the final touch will be re sculpting her chest plate n painting it.
     
    again comments and criticisms are welcome.

    So i'v finished sculpting her hair, just wondering what everypony thinks? I know shes not 100% show accurate but i think it still has the same essence.
     

     
    How do you think i'm doing so far. she still needs to be painted blue n needs some more work on her tail.

    Ok so here are the subjects striped.
     

     
    So i'm loving Luna in this color, so i think she might end up a hybrid of seasons 1 n 2. Her coat will be more season 1 but her mane and tail more like season 2. Also I'll be re-sculpting her chest plate/ necklace thing
     
    As for the Vinyl Scratch she will require much more work. i'm going to leave her eyes however because i'm going to cover them with her glasses so i figured the less repainting the better.
     
    so i should have more productive pictures this weekend as i'm off and can actually do some work on them.

    Ok here's the art for my review show so far, sorry this is later than I expected. I opted for a more hand drawn style due to limited resources and to help set the look of the show apart from others. also the back ground is going to be real world photographs. i'm hoping that all of this together will give it an almost paper Mario vibe. i'm going to need a better program to scan images with.

    Best day ever!

    Ok I had the best day ever yesterday. I was actualy able to attend Bronycon for a day, sadly I could only aford Saturday. Well I had a fantastic time. I bought some really cool equestian artifacts, including the alicorn amulet shame I can no longer trust wheels now. Also got to meet a bunch of my favorit online analysts and they seemed to love my name (H.P. Lovecolt) . This was a much needed trip I'm feeling much better and I'm more determened than ever to start makeing my own videos.

    yay! i'm back! had troubling internet issues for almost 2 weeks. so yeah that sucked. got some pics of some ponies I've been painting .
     
    so here's the Luna I repainted sorry for the lighting.

    I'm not sure about her neck ornamentation should I leave it or should I re sculpt it so it has a 3 dimensional feel about it?
     
    n here's Vinyl scratch i redid her mane and tail. shes still not finished though she needs her cutie mark n a few more coats of light blue.

    Yay! i'm starting a blog . but instead of telling the world about my mundane life i figured i'd use this to chronicle some customized ponies I've decided to make... you get to ether watch my triumph... or failure we will see .

    first up is Rarity who sadly must be sacrificed to my pagan pony god to make Vinyl scratch aka Dj-Pon3.
     
    (Design a pony Luna toy)
    n next is the Princess of the night herself Princess Luna! who's not getting sacrificed so much as getting a makeover. i'm still undecided on whether to make her look like a show accurate season 1 Luna or season 2/3 Luna? Opinions on this are much welcome.
     
    there you have it, i'll be positing pics of the various stages of development until the finished product. this is my first time customizing ponies. (i do it with 40k models all the time though.). so wish me luck.
