I still don't understand the point of all of this. Why would one start a thread to introduce himself with no content to provide, and why would one respond to such thread. Can somebody give me a reason so I don't feel irrational about this?

Hello. (this whole welcome-y stuff seems nonsense to me, but oh well) I'm Archimondde. In real world known as Artur. As non-brony I make stupid movies. As a brony I used to be a lame artist, but I lost it few months ago and stopped. I still create though, just not pony. Mostly expressionist type drawings (they're simple and ugly as hell). A few favourites: Music: Makkon, Carbon Maestro, Cyril the Wolf, Wooden Toaster Art: John Joseco, Ziom05 I think I said everything I wanted to say.

I've got the same problem. I was trying to download Cyril the Wolf's The Night Seeker in FLAC. It stopped at ~15MB.
