  1. I certainly qualify. Started losing interest about halfway through season 4, and I still haven't finished the last batch of episodes. I'll get around to them sometime, maybe, but it's not a high priority for me anymore. Feels more like something I'd do for the sake of completion rather than fun.

The community has its share of elements I dislike as well, but I stick around for the handful of wonderful people I've met through here. I feel they've genuinely enriched my life and I'm thankful I got on this ride because of them.

  2. I suppose it depends on what other personality traits that perfectionism is paired with. Perfectionism + an inferiority complex that convinces you that whatever you're working on is garbage? Good luck getting anything done. Ever.

I'd also contest the idea that perfectionism will always lead to higher quality. Ever repeat a word so often it stops making sense? A similar thing can happen when you go over your work, time and time again, revising every "mistake" until you can't even see what you're looking at anymore. The results can actually come across as more forced and awkward than what you started with.

    Totally not speaking from experience.

  3. Not much of an online shopper. Last thing I bought was a hardcover edition of George R.R. Martin's A Dance With Dragons, about two years ago. I would have picked it up at a bookstore, but alas, after Borders shut down there was really no other way to get my hands on the book in Puerto Rico.

  4. I frequently listen to the captivating The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway by Genesis. I can't get enough of it. Gorgeous lyrics and instrumentation throughout, all in service of a deeply absurd tale of a man finding himself underneath New York city. I think. It's probably not that simple. I just know that I find it all too easy to get lost in it.

That said, it's 90 minutes long so listening to it in one go is often not feasible. Especially since I repeat songs so often.

  5. You gave me nothing to guess so I'll do the previous. It's SCS. <3

This mod is currently looking to regain his honor by capturing the Avatar.

Answer this one quickly because he goes though frequent changes.

  6. I saw some of the ones you just mentioned during their original theatrical runs (namely The Lion King and Toy Story), but sadly I haven't had the opportunity to watch a classic in a theater just yet. Note that I'm defining "classic" as a popular movie that released before I was born.

Watching 2001: A Space Odyssey on a giant screen is definitely on the bucket list.

  8. Homura is the only correct answer.

    A few reasons for that:

Firstly, I didn't become truly involved in the show until she took the spotlight. Episode 10 is one of the best episodes of anything I've ever seen, with Homu being given an unbelievable amount of growth in a mere 22 minute episode. I nearly wept.

Secondly, Rebellion, in which she went from being a great character to a fascinating one. If people go as far as to write analytical essays speculating on her thoughts and motivations, then the writers have likely done something right.

Thirdly, she's got a great design, and is fairly unique in that she uses conventional weapons instead of magical ones.

Fourthly, it was through my love of Homu that I met one of my best friends on here. Somewhat unrelated to her character but whatever.

This is the most brutal anime EVER
