    From a none-hardcore Brony standpoint, I thought the episode was great (actually it's one of my most favorite episodes). The concept of multi-Pinkie was a godsend for an onslaught of slapstick comedy, the animation effect used for the mirror pool was amazing (until the animators got lazy after the third time lol), and who can say no to hundreds of Pinkies rampaging through Ponyville?

    Surprising enough, I find that it's the almost overly polite, comicly mature community. Ever since I became a Brony a few weeks ago I figured "we'd" just be like every other fandom out there; always arguing about what's the best or making fun of people for their thoughts and opinions or just plain trolling (looking you square in the face GAMERS!). But oddly enough, you/we seem to be a peaceful society who accepts differences and units under a common banner. Wow. I wonder if we get that from the show!

    Although Mrs Faust confirmed the ponies do the ol' bang-chitty-bang-bang, I like to believe that when grown ponies (horses- whatever-) become romantically involved, they send a letter to Princess Celestria stating/requesting blessing for a child where then she's like oky doky loky, puts a magical spell on the wife, and if her and her husband have true love for each other she becomes pregnant. Wow. Did I just say that?

    People seem to like AppleDash a lot... but I think it's just because they are both tomboys/tough/Brony attractors. IF a ship were to ever occur, it would be Princess Bubblegum and Marcili- I mean, Pinkie and Fluttershy. It would be easier because they could say "well Pinkie's crazy anyway" and "Fluttershy needs/wants someone to take care of her/be with". Sounds kind of lame, but that's how it is. Also- don't flame me too bad- I'm only two weeks old! (as a Brony)

    I'm only a 2-week old Brony, so this is a little deep for me. Learned a lot though! For my 2 cents (2 weeks' worth lol), all I can say is that it seems a bit too early to make Twilight some semi-all powerful princess, unless Lauren Faust and company feared that the show would be cancelled soon and wanted to get it out of the way. Otherwise, unless it's against MLP lore, I think it would be interesting to see ALL the ponies (Mane 6- love that term) become alicorns in one way or another (perhaps during "boss battles" when they use their elements).

    What would happen if we created our own nation? The same thing that would happen to any sub-culture who would form their own nation- we'd go completely and utterly insane. There would be very few, loosely governed rules/laws, militant fans (ultra bronies I guess) would rule with inane ideas and traditions, and the sisters would get mad that only a select few know anything much outside of MLP and videogames/anime. Ouch. Why was I just so hard on us just now? lol

    This question rages an unholy war in my head every day lol My fav is Fluttershy, but Pinkie keeps trying to claw her way into that top spot... but I have to say Fluttershy's quietness somehow out-cutes Pinkie's craziness every time. That's not to say Pinkie won't do a Solid Snake (again) and sneak her way into that #1 spot... Also: Pinkie Pie as Sam Fisher/Solid Snake? Genius!

    Definitely one of my most favorite background ponies. I'm sure the creative team added him in there as a small joke to counter balance the amount of cuteness/girliness in the show. But looks like us/the Bronies are taking care of that for them now lol

    Oh snap- I just made this exact thread/comment/whatever in another post! I for one have always wanted Pinkie to be kind of an idiot savant... retaining her cheerful, chaotic cartoony self yet delivering highly profound/philosophical/plot-moving information ever so often to the others' surprise. Also, comedy is the sign of intelligence in young children... just sayin'.

    Veering ever so slightly off topic, I've always wanted for Pinkie to be kind of an idiot savant; maintaining her over-the-top cartoon vibes while every so often inserting some amazing piece of scientific/philosophic/plot-driving information to the surprise of everyone else. Any objections?

    Or.... it may have just been a simple slip-up by the script writers. In any case, I always laughed at the term when I was a brand new Brony (...2 weeks ago...), and now am almost tempted to start using it in real life lol and my jaw literally dropped when I played your video. I didn't know there were such slip ups!

    "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." A show has too much potential to become milked after even just 4 seasons, much like The Simpsons have been. I'd rather see MLP go out in it's prime (as most excellent cartoons sadly do) than see it become a shell of its former self. Wouldn't be surprised if season 4 was the last of MLP anyway (once again, sadly). RIP Samurai Jack Teen Justice JLU etc...

    Besides the fact that a lot of great shows end up being cancelled after appearing on CN, I think MLP would of been at least 20% cooler being aired on that network (see what I did there?). I believe the show would have been allowed to be a bit more... open about some of the more adult oriented humor/ situations (not that there really are any to begin with lol), but take a lok at PPG or Dexter's Lab or Samurai Jack or... well, you get the idea. At the same time, I guess not every cartoon needs to be for grown ups
