First of all, I know there's a personality test on another topic, but I'm not familiar with the different personality labels, and I think it's good to explain in our own words the way we think and feel. I used to think of myself as having more of a feminine personality, although now, I think of myself more like Dick Gumshoe. Loveable, goofy, poor, and loyal. And he's probably scared of spiders just like me (forgot, been a while since I played any AA games) I'm also trying to make myself a being of almost pure innocence (can't be 100% innocence, would be boring), love, and joy. I try to avoid reading about world events, because I feel that they taint my aura with negativity. However, I do have a slightly dark sense of humor (but the cute dark sense, not morbid).

I stay out of politics. They're all working for the same team in the end anyway. If I do take a stance, it'll be for something I care about, and CAN change. I believe that the richer countries should do more to help the lesser developed countries. They seem to be exploited, and the little help they do get involves trying to change their culture. I want to make a difference, but I will never join Peace Corps because they are military, and don't care about the safety of their volunteers, and I would say more, but this isn't the debate pit, so I'll stop. I'm also inclined to believe that there will always be some darkness. I don't think it's as simple as there suddenly being no more darkness, no more bad things happening. We learn and grow from our misfortunes, if we have everything easy, we will stop growing, and maybe even end up taking certain things for granted without misfortunes there to remind us why we should be grateful.

Humans are more technologically advanced, and I assume, much further along in science. Ponies are superior in magic, and strength, and can also control the weather. In the end though, I think humanity will destroy itself, as it makes technology so advanced that it destroys all human life. Unless the stories of the Annunaki warring against the Illuminati are true.

Stupid things you believed when you were younger
Adachi replied to Fishy Stick's topic in General Discussion
I believed that when people die, they're gone forever, and we are forever separated from them. When I first learned of death when I was a kid, I was mortified, and I ran to my mom and climbed into bed with her and hugged her, and told her I never want her to die. -
If someone makes some ignorant remark about Bronies, I'll say "prove it". If they respond with something like "it's gay", I'll say "an opinion is not proof of something, give me proof". If their post in an ad hominem against an individual, I'll say something like "4/10, would not read again", or "eh, at least you were partially creative". Basically, use wit to make the hater look foolish. Maybe even reveal one of your negative traits, and if they take the bait, you can call them out on the ad hominem (I know that's a favorite tactic of trolls, they'll purposely misspell so they can add to their troll ammo)

Do you believe in Faeries, Pixies, Brownies, Unicorns, etc?
Adachi replied to Adachi's topic in General Discussion
I would ask her what they think of us humans, and if there's anything important we need to know. Other than love each other and care for the Earth (which SHOULD be givens, but ppl be greedy mang). -
Do you believe in Faeries, Pixies, Brownies, Unicorns, etc?
Adachi replied to Adachi's topic in General Discussion
Not sure, although they say when you can see grass or leaves sway with no wind, or you hear weird noises, or feel the bed move for no reason, or see similar signs, it is a faerie or spirit trying to get your attention. I think I did have one faerie encounter in a dream, but it could've been a departed pet saying goodbye. The girl in my dream looked human, maybe elven, but I had the dream on a night where I was thinking of the pet. And the dream put me at ease. -
Do you believe in Faeries, Pixies, Brownies, Unicorns, etc?
Adachi replied to Adachi's topic in General Discussion
I highly doubt that. I think they were driven out of our realm through the thick pollution and negativity in this world. Our world started out as innocent, and I believe that humans lived side by side with these beings, but human greed happened, and the survivors fled to the lower realms. But because people have been awakening, they have been appearing to people more and more. I wouldn't be surprised if many of the angel sightings were actually faeries, maybe they're actually the same thing or very similar. And the people of Ireland and all other true Celtic countries still believe in them, and they live right where the highest faerie activity is. -
Do you believe in Faeries, Pixies, Brownies, Unicorns, etc?
Adachi replied to Adachi's topic in General Discussion
Yes, but I hardly believe that cavemen were capable of understanding things such as purity and beauty, they were more concerned with clubbing in the heads of their dinner/enemy tribes and surviving. So they had to have seen one to know to draw one, because a primitive savage is almost incapable of understanding such beauty. And I believe that cavemen (or at least ancient people) drew things mostly to keep records, although also to pass on traditions. And all traditions have a glint of truth. -
Do you believe in Faeries, Pixies, Brownies, Unicorns, etc?
Adachi replied to Adachi's topic in General Discussion
Yes, but how did they get the idea of connecting it to horses? How did they get the idea of connecting it to purity? If they found just the horn, then there was nothing else to connect it with (if anything, they would've thought it came off some kind of rhino), and if they found a whole skeletalized narwhal, they clearly don't look like horse skeletons. I'm still confident that those who made stories about these beings, unconsciously tapped into their realm for inspiration. There have been many legends of dragons all over the world, around the same time, and when the different cultures of the world were isolated from each other. And most of these dragon legends were very similar. Also, archaeologists have found unicorn paintings in caves, that date back to caveman times. -

They're a type of Faerie, but they're more like house spirits. They're probably what "The Borrowers" was based on. -
I've been doing a lot of reading, and have read something interesting. There are supposedly 7 upper realms of creation that have the heavenly beings who inspired different religions, then there are the 7 lower realms, which start below us. On the first level of the lower realms are the Good Folk (collective name for all Faerie type beings), and on the 2nd level are Thoughtforms, Great Wizards, Dragons, and other powerful benevolent beings. Anything at 3 or lower is scary, or even dangerous, because they contain random discarded thoughts, nightmares, urban legends (including every scary version of what the afterlife is supposed to be), etc. I do believe that these beings exist. There are many stories where both children and adults have run into the Good Folk, and there is one story where a crew was gonna build a runway, but a Faerie Circle was in the way. When they tried to remove it, workers started becoming too ill to work, and machinery kept breaking down. When they finally decided to build away from the Faerie Circle, everything went smoothly.

Do you follow the fandoms motto of 'love and tolerate'?
Adachi replied to Twilicorn's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Because some people feel that SOMETHING should be kept sacred. There was already a ton of r34 of Pokemon, The Simpsons, even The Flintstones! I know it's a fetish, and people who are attracted to animals should have the same rights as LGBT, but most don't approve of human porn on the web, and some of the r34 of MLP leaks out into Safe Search. The only reason why I approve of it at all is because some people don't have the artistic ability or imagination to satisfy their own desires, and r34 pony art is better than them going out to fulfill their fantasies with a rl pony. Edit: Also, some of the haters are just getting over the fact that men like a cartoon marketed for girls (nothing wrong with that, just using hater logic), but men being sexually attracted to cartoon ponies is something that will be much harder to accept, and there will always be some who will never accept it at all. Edit: I know people may be offended by this post, and accuse me of not being a real Brony, but I love the show, and it's characters, and the storylines, and I love parts of the fandom, so yes, I am still a Brony. There is no right/wrong way to be a Brony as long as you're a fan of the show. There's the part of me who likes to post to make friends, then there's the snarky me that will defend the show I love, because my love for the show always comes before the fandom. Edit (Again): I have a compromise. People make their art, but don't attach the MLP name, or any MLP character names for it. People still get their freak on, and innocent people will never be in danger of seeing it. That's a good compromise, right? -

I read that how they chose to make the song imperfect, instead of having them sing off key, they used rougher language. Anypony know where I can find the translation? Ever since seeing a character from a certain anime about mermaids named Lady Bat (and yes, I know he's a guy xD), I've developed a taste of hearing feminine singers using masculine words xD

movies/tv Stereotypes in kid shows: Good or bad?
Adachi replied to Sugar Pea's topic in Media Discussion
DT and SS are prime examples of stereotypes, typical rich girls who bully lower class girls. But they have been executed quite well, and I think SS even shows some hope for development, because one time she didn't laugh with DT when DT did something that crossed the line.- 16 replies

I'm sure that they exist somewhere, or even if the ones from the show don't exist, I'm sure there's a dimension where there are ponies like the ones from the show somewhere. Remember, this is just one plane of existence, there are also the 7 upper realms of creation, and the 7 lower realms of creation. The 1st floor of the lower realms is where elves, faeries, gnomes, pixies, sprites, brownies, unicorns, etc exist, and I think that on the 2nd floor, there are thought forms, wizards, dragons, giants, etc. Also, people have reported dreams where Princess Luna gave them advice that helped them in the next day, and I had a dream where Rainbow Dash gave me a pep talk when I was feeling down. So I'm sure that they do exist.

If it wasn't for the HUGE age difference, I would be the perfect boyfriend for you. I'm loyal, I'm not demanding, I don't go out (at least not to bars, and not late either), and I'm spiritual, so I pretty much keep to myself and those who I care about, and stay out of trouble. Still, if you know anyone close to my age and lives in NY who is looking for their special somepony with my characteristics, let me know =O And I will pray for you so you can be guided towards the perfect boyfriend To stay on topic, as for the thing I want, it would be a reality marble that contains Equestria, or at least a world like Equestria, so I can escape to it (I think that's how reality marbles work)
