Well I'm really into musicals like Phantom and Love Never Dies, Les Miserables, West Side Story, and the King and I to a lesser extent.
I've been told I am an amazing writer, and may do a MLP fanfic sometime, although don't hold your breath.
As for TV I'm always watching Family/Disney channel although I'm not particularly fond of most of the shows on the channel. I love Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, Sofia the First(yes really) and of course MLP.

  1. okay so just picked up both starter decks and I have one question, let's say I have Professor Neigh http://mlpccg.wikia.com/wiki/Professor_Neigh,_Algebraic!_(Premiere) at a problem like It's Alive http://www.heartofthecards.com/code/mlpcardlist.html?cardnum=177 and you use apples and Oranges on it http://www.heartofthecards.com/code/mlpcardlist.html?cardnum=98 would that fulfill It's Alive's requirements?
  2. Okay, so I live in Canada and I know for most kids shows like Gravity Falls and Phineas and Ferb we get everything anywhere from a week to a month later than the states. Does anyone know if the season 4 premier will air in Canada on the same day as in the states or where I can stream it online live
  3. I just hate hearing people hearing people say, for example: "Do you want to talk English" I don't even know if this is wrong or not but I think "Do you want to speak english" sounds infinitly better. Also "Lie-berry" as oppose to "Lie-Brary" when refrencing a library
  4. Well at this point I'm holding onto my opinion with my basically dead hands, he's telling me I need to grow up and be normal if I want to have the respect of others, I don't think I'm going to be talking to him again
  5. So I have this friend and he usually drives me home from our school. He knows I'm a brony not supportive, more indifferent. Today was dress down day and we got to wear anything we wanted so I wore my Twilight Sparkle shirt (super pink and girlyish). I went to school and at the end of the day I texted him asking where he went, he preceded to tell me he wouldn't drive me home if I was in that shirt. That I need to be thought a lesson about what I can and cannot wear in public I'm pretty mad that's he's being so shallow, do you think he's right?
  6. I was thinking about a canterlot wedding but the first part is super wedding-y and the second is where it gets epic so I dunno if she'll want to stay around after the first one. After seeing the replies so far I'm thinking to go to Lesson Zero or Party of One to show her that, as you put it, mlp has things no other preschool show would have
  7. Okay, my birthday is this Saturday and she's agreed to watch 22 minutes of MLP as a pseudo-gift. Now I'm faced with the daunting task of choosing 1 of 65 episodes. I'm leaning towards the first episode considering it ends emotionally unconcluded and she may want to watch part 2, I don't want to do the discord episodes because you need to know the characters for it to be funny Any suggestions?
  8. Interesting topic, I'd like to see an episode about this. It could be really funny to see her immediate reaction I think it would be something like this: mannn even though I could see Trixie doing something like this, I don't think it will happen. but here's to hope
  9. I remember I got in trouble for standing up on a slide and falling off of the tube XD man that was fun. the park itself can be done in less than a day though, there really aren't that many slides, 6 to my memory, and the rest is just water getting dumbed on you, a wave pool, and a hot tub. I thought it was fun for the day but the next day I just kind of explored the building if I remember.
  10. Yeah I saw that episode of FiW too I laughed at the little nod to Les Mis I personally was not a fan of Hugh Jackman, as his voice was just not strong enough to play Jean ValJean, but I liked the movie all the same. Like for comparison, I'm sure you've heard Hugh's version of the "What have I done sweet Jesus What have I done" song, but if you need a refresher it's readily available on YouTube, and then compare that with this recording of John Owen Jones doing the same song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTkkL9H8Scs Holy God, JOhn Owen freaking Jones. Personal biases aside, John just belts out those high notes and it's while it may not be as moving as Hugh, John does do a little sobbing. His voice is so powerful and for-lack-of-a-better-word big it's so amazing. I really think Jean ValJean could've been casted better
  11. Currently there are 4 professional recordings on Youtube: 10th Anniversary, Great Cast, but is missing a lot of scenes also the only one with video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAVrm3wjzq8 The 1985 Preview Show, First time Les Mis was ever preformed in English. Bad quality but good if you're familiar with the musical http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fvr0azlEQM Full Symphonic Recording, Inculdes everything the musical has to offer, 2 hours and 50 minutes pretty amazing if you have the time to listen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USIE9R6P9WA 2010 25th Anniversary Tour Cast, Amazing. Simply Amazing. my favourite recording, it's epic, the cast is amazing the orchestration is great, the quality is perfect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCofgZjEkkM VanellopeSofia but Thank you, and 'Dusknight Haze' just sounds so freaking epic! I could totally see a villan with that name! (no offence)
  12. I see where you're coming from, Russel does have a voice and he doesn't deserve some of the criticism he gets, but I just really didn't like his acting, like look at Earl Carpenter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zq9DqarYB4 He a) sounds better and b ) looks like he cares. Russel as you said, was a walking statue showing hardly any emotion.
  13. I 100 % agree, I loved those too even though a lot of people hated Amanda, she's one of my favourite Cosettes, I couldn't stand Hugh's voice also, and Russel was okay, but could've been cast better. The entire cast could've been casted much better, I was disappointed with it overall
  14. So I'm just a wee bit obsessed with Les Miserables. I currently have 6 recordings of the musical on my iTunes and was wondering if any other bronies like Les Mis. I know they're out there because of this photo I found online: If you are a big fan of Les Mis I'd love to hear your dream cast! Mine is as follows Colm Wilkinson- Jean ValJean (so close with JOJ) Norm Lewis or Hadley Fraser- Inspector Javert Anne Hathaway- Fantine No preference for the Thenadiers, just not Sacha and Hellen Micheal Ball- Marius Katie Hall- Cossette Frances Ruffelle- Eponine Ramin Karimloo- Enjoras
  15. I haven't seen any people who just hate bronies. Most people, I find, are just like 'Oh you like My Little Pony, that's weird, I'm gonna get on with my life' and not actually 'You need to stop watching MLP that is wrong rage rage ragey rage rage' But in the case of your friend I think he should tell her and if she doesn't accept him for who he is, then maybe she wasn't worth it, but who am I to say anything?
