Hello Everypony!
My wife made me watch MLP:FiM one day a few months ago. I was ready to be skeptical and do the usual "this is for girls" bray. Didn't happen. I actually found myself enjoying the show!
Watching the first episode was not enough, of course, since it's a 2-parter. And then, a week or so later, I found myself bored and on Nextflix...and I watched MLP by myself. Oh boy.
In between then and now, I ran into a Brony on a comedy chat forum. He is extremely open about his Brony-ness and so that's how I found out there was a whole subculture.
