*Takes look at notes & plans* BUCK! *Throws them all over the ground* Lol, actually this is probably for the best. I'm up for moving this to another site, as long as everyone else is. Heck, maybe Arylette could even use some of the ideas Silver and I came up with.

Alright, Silver and I are still in talks, but we're takin' a break while he eats his dinner. We've got some plans going right now, but they are highly dependent on the numbers of players that stay with this. Right now, if everyone stays with the RP, I think we will have 11 people. That's one less than what we hoped for with our current idea. If it comes down to it, maybe we'll open this RP to one more member? There's a specific place in the storyline that would allow for it, once we get moving again. It's also looking like I'll be taking over NPC and storyline leading for the shipping group (Klopp, Magenta, Daylight, Starry Sky), while Silver does the same for the fighting group (Silver, Serah, Electrobolt, Ice Storm, Numbers, Aurora, Alex). Eventually, the two groups would come together before the climax of the storyline. We have some cool ideas, so please stick around.

It's very important that we know how many people are planning to continue with this RP. So far I know for sure of: Myself Silver Arrow Electrobolt Alex_Night Aureity and apparently Scootacool (WHEW!) That's only 6 people right now. Silver and I need to know how many to plan for.

He messaged me yesterday saying he had some things he was having to get done. Said he'd probably be free of his obligations by this weekend.

I was thinking of this too, since everypony is still split into two groups. One person could "moderate" for one group while the another person "moderates" the other group; obviously those two "moderators" would need to keep up with each other in private to lead things in a good direction.

Already wrote my farewell message as a comment on her blog post... I don't know. Someone needs to, though. I really don't want this to die. Arlette's goal here was to create an above-average RP. It would be a disservice to her to not try and finish what she started. There should at least be one great RP on this forum that she can pin to her uniform with pride. I guess whoever wants to stay in this RP and thinks they are qualified to control the NPCs and storyline should start volunteering. Then we could have a vote of some kind. I suppose I'll volunteer myself. I know how to manipulate NPCs and come up with storylines, at the very least. We have a more immediate issue than NPCs right now, though. I'm trying to think of how we could write around Arylette's departure. Artsy was a big part of the storyline. Previously when people left the RP we pretended they never existed, but we can't quite do that this time. Perhaps something changling related could be thought up. I don't know. Mind is working pretty slowly at the moment.

For as long as I've been on this forum (8 months now), you've been a constant sight on the forums. Through the RPs you ran, I even got to know you a bit. I could feel your passion for your craft, and how much you wanted to be a force for good on these forums. It is extremely disheartening to see you go. I hope your life will be much better now that you've broken off from this site, and wish you luck in all your future endeavors.

These are actually very inspiring words. It's amazing that your creativity has driven you this far, even when what you are doing is a mostly thankless task. I haven't read any of your stories, so I'm blind to their actual quality. But nothing but improvement can come out of such a great work ethic. Your stories may never be the most popular, but as long as you are proud of them, that's enough of an achievement. So many people forget that the first person an author has to please is his/herself. Did a search for your work. I think I'm going to try reading a bit of "The Shimmer in the Desert", since I just got done writing the first episode of a fic set in Las Pegasus.

I'm just not seeing the button mashing aspect. The series has never been about blindly mashing buttons (unless you torture yourself by playing on Easy Automatic), and the gameplay in DmC looks to play the same way as those old games, only with more weapons available to you at any one time. Hadn't heard about Capcom becoming involved with the game. Would be cool if they could somehow bring the game up to 60 fps, but I doubt that'd be possible at this point. Even if they tried, the framerate would probably be unstable. I'd take stable 30 over unstable 60 any day, though frankly I'd rather not choose. Edit: Also, just saw this image on tumblr. Glad to see everyone posting again. Was worried there for a few minutes... hours... days. Heck, and I was part of the problem too. I need to pay more attention to this RP, before my character starts to become irrelevant. Also, since I was in a writing mood today, I wrote a little opinion/advice/humor column for my MLPForums blog. I doubt the small bits of advice are needed by anyone in this thread, but you still might get a laugh or two out of it. I wrote it just so that the thoughts would stop swimming around in my head and driving me crazy. XD

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that a brony can't have non-brony friends. I myself have several, one of whom is very against bronies. He and I get along just fine. There will always be exceptions to everything.

Just to let you know, I'm not insulting anyone in particular. Men 1-3 on not based on actual persons. They are just highly exaggerated amalgamations of harmful/detrimental mindsets I've seen pop up all over the brony community. If you think one of those fake persons resembles you in any way, then it might do you a little good to take into consideration the words you've read here today. Take what I have to say in stride, say whatever you are gonna say (free speech, after all), and live your life however you're gonna live it. No one should be able to change your mind for you. I think Aurora brought up the idea to the ponies in the library, and they were all about to start heading there (if they haven't already left the library). Right now Serah is outside of the place, and will probably see them as they approach. Speaking of meta-gaming, I'm going probably going to leave most changling-pony control over to Arylette or others now. I just thought it was kind of necessary to have somepony be at sugarcube corner, at least initially, and it was a bit odd that the actual concept of the changlings hadn't been brought up to any pony except maybe Artsy.

How are you not jumping to a conclusion? You haven't played the game, have you? That's the very definition of jumping to a conclusion. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to this game. Big fan of the first four games (DMC2 aside, of course), and this reboot looks like great fun. The new visual style has a lot of personality, and I like the direction they've taken the music in. There isn't anything I've disliked about the game yet, other than some of the voice acting. I can't wait to get my hands on a demo, if one will ever be released over PSN. Nothing makes me shake my head more than seeing people spew bile about this game. I mean, you don't have to like it. That's cool. But just because it isn't what you expected doesn't mean it has no right to exist. Capcom has done a lot of shitty things over the past few years, but I certainly wouldn't say this is one of their mistakes. Not yet, anyways. We'll all have to wait and see.
