"Noise?" he answered not knowing whats going on " I don't know i just woke up from sleeping in the engine room. Lume was there watching me sleep, then I ran up here because it looked like she wanted to hurt me..." He sat down and continued " i do however feel like I'm forgetting something, oh well hey go get yourself something to eat or something I'll take the wheel for a while" He said jumping up like a spring.

while rolling around the engine room near Lume, Gray rolls into a machine and hits his head. Instantly waking up "OWOWOW SON OF A MULE! oh hiya Lume! Why did I take a nap in here? wait no I'm fairly sure i didn't... you didn't try anything did you? Nah, So whatcha doin?" Gray seems to have totally forgotten what happened prior to him falling asleep. Taking note of Lumes facial expression "Ehehe, Oh is that Crimson calling me? well i'd better not keep him... ehehe" Gray runs to the upper deck to avoid the wrath of Lume. "Hiya Crimson how long until we get to Manehatten? I need to get my hat fixed and we need to pick up Vincent." he said tossing a pouch of bits at him.

"yeah i think i was just mugged or something. I'm still really tired *yawn* I need to to look for a suspicious pony that stole my bits and my lockpicks off me.. *yawn we are in the air so he should still be on the ship someware..." ~"Nopony knocks out the Captain!"~ "was that star..belle?... I need you to take care of things... I can't stay awake any longer... and whatever you do don't kill him.. he may be usefu-" Gray fell asleep on the floor and no matter what it seemed he wouldn't wake up for a while. (and now i sleep for real because I need to sleep in order to make any sense for the next post so it's kinda perfect that happened)

About thirteen minutes pass since Gray has been knocked out "Yaaaawn* did i just fall asleep? ... no I think I was drugged... oh well no harm no foul. i seem to be missing my bits and my lock picks though i should probably find the one responsible. good thing i work with chemicals everyday i could have been out for hours..." ​ Gray sluggishly walks out of the room " maybe i should get Glooms help to find the thief of thieves..." walks into the engine room " Heyo! Gloom you gotta sec? I need to discuss something with you."

Gray starts opening chests sometimes having to use his tools to pick the lock but feeling depressed he just lays on his back and decides to take a nap on the floor near the door " *yawn*... hope we get there soon. I hate waiting... *sniff* *sniff* I smell Bits nearby....In there!" Gray jumps up and Rushes to the locker knowing the smell of bits he opens the locker...

"Ugh i need to do something to calm my nerves... I'm going to go to the sleeping quarters to see if they have any valuables i can loot in any chests or trunks" he says tossing a box full of saddle Arabian cigars at gloom "I grabbed these of the jerk who skewered my hat i don't smoke em' so have fun and do me a favor and check to see is anypony needs any help around here" walking into the room noticing that the lock was picked "I hope your not trying to take all the loot for yourself! leave some for me!"

Gray walked around in circles just poking at his hat hoping for a miracle or a tailor... "My hat..... my hat..... my hat...." just repeating those two words over and over feeling sick about his hat. when he decided... "OK everypony We need to go to manehatten! Crimson since Vincent is not here and I used to live there I'll direct you! Head east!

The ship started to take off and was running pretty smoothly, as Gray and Gloom fight off the remaining guards they manage to get away from the battle and seem to be out of the thick of things "Phew! that didn't go as planned. So as i was saying before anypony here know how to fix a hat?" he asked now that his attention could reside solely on getting his hat fixed. not caring about the crack in his glasses at all.

"Nothin much gloom just the usual" more guards swarm the ship and try to come aboard."Cripes! We'll have to pick up Vincent and Skylight later! right now we have to get the ship outta here!" He throws the Unconscious Guard off the ship "Crimson! I need you to take the wheel and fly us outta here! I don't want the poor guards to get to badly hurt if we can help it!" he says as he Punches Guards off the ship left and right.

"Woah! The engines started!" he said as the ship Started up "Cripes! I need to get my hat fixed!" Gray ran down to the lower deck and yelled out "Anypony have anything i can use to fix my hat?" He noticed the Unconscious Guard that he kicked off the upper deck he yelled at the knocked out guard like an idiot and started kicking his body "Hey I told you to get lost! Because of you my hat has a hole in it you- hey ... where are the others?" looking back and forth he noticed the Royal Guard Swarming the ship in waves." Hey new friends!" he looked over at the swarm of Guards "Sorry invite only!" he tossed down a few small marbles that shocked the ground around the guards Causing involuntary muscle spasms and rendering them unable to move. "Don't worry it will ware off in about 30 minutes!"

Keeping an eye on everything happening, The earth pony decides to just watch to see how Things play out from the upper deck. chuckling at how things were playing out he almost failed to notice a Guard creeping up behind him. The Guard lifted the Butt of his spear in attempts to knockout the sneaky Thief. Hearing the Air around the spear as the guard went to strike Gray Barely had time to evade the blow. He turned around and looked at the guard as if happy to see a new friend "Hiya!" he said with a childish cheerful tone "you here to join the fun?" Aggravated by his lack of any fear what-so-ever The guard Used his spear to lunge at the cheerful Thief. the spear missed the Young Stallion and pierced his hat. Grays tone quickly changed "My hat...I don't like you." he said with a burning hatred in his voice "GET LOST!" He shouted as he Kicked the Guard in the face knocking him onto the lower deck forgetting the stealthy nature of the mission. "Cripes! my hat has a hole in it..."

In the darkness a gray earth pony with a blonde mane Crept along and Waited to see if the coast was clear. When it finally came time to move forward he rolled a small marble over to the three Guards that have been in front of the ships Boarding Area. The guards looked baffled as they take a closer inspection of the marble. As they Stare perplexed by the marble it Evaporates into a small fog of halothane vapor, rendering the guards unconscious. " Alright I have taken out the front guards, Move up" whispered The pony as he carefully boarded the ship making sure not to make a noise.

Over all good story. I like it and can't wait to read more. And i don't mind self inserts they don't really harm the story in anyway so I give it 9/10 I really did enjoy the read. keep it up!

Wow that's Epic! Love it! The shading and color scheme is Awesome! And as a fan of speedart I loved the video! I want to see more from you. lol
