    (Time jump) Soul trotted around Ponyville, looking for something to paint. Sadly, she couldn't find anything to paint except a small pot of flowers. She quickly pulled out her pencil and a piece of paper, starting her quick sketch of the flowers. She planned to paint it later.

    "T-thanks," she muttered. Looking around, she noticed that her subject had disappeared. "Would you like me to draw you?" She asked. "Sure," the receptionist shrugged. "The name's Sea." Soul smiled and moved her previous sketch. She quickly got to work on the new one, excited to have somepony new to draw.

    Watching the two, she was filled with jealousy. Why couldn't she have a friend? Why did ponies always see HER as invisible? Why was it that she could never talk to anypony? Why did she have to be so SHY? Why couldn't she just try for once? Why couldn't she ever come out of her shell?

    Soul spotted Equinox. She smiled to herself. She quickly pulled her pencil out of her satchel. On the reception desk, she noticed a few blank papers, pleading to be drawn on. She dashed over and began her sketch of Equinox. "Nice drawing," the receptionist commented.

    Soul trudged through Ponyville, a sad look on her face. Well that was one way to start an art show. Walking in to find another artist on stage, stealing the spotlight. No-pony had even noticed her entering. She saw two ponies that looked happy down by a well. She sighed.

    Soul stepped onto the mountain, immune to the cold. She noticed that it was snowing and smiled. Soul then walked towards the resort, unaware of the ponies fighting through the snow, struggling to get even close to the building. Giggling, she pushed open the door to see ponies gathered together.

    After she did a quick sketch of the model, she realized that she was hungry. She trotted out of her door, eager to get some food. As she turned the streets, she spotted Sugarcube Corner. She smiled to herself as she pushed the door open, putting herself in the building.

    Soul sat in the train silently as the seats around her became crowed with eager ponies. 'Seriously?' She thought. 'It's only Ponyville.' She sat back as the train pulled forward. Watching the amazing scenery, she thought about what love would feel like.

    Soul yawned as she turned in her bed. Next thing she knew, she was on the floor, wide awake. She shot up, ready to start painting. She immediately whipped out her brushes, pulled out an easel, and snatched up one of her pony models to start experimenting. She hit her hoof inn her head. She forgot her pencil. She dashed over, grabbing up her pencil.

    Soul screamed as they ripped her art, her heart pounding with dread. "NOO!!! STOP IT, YOU MONSTERS!!" She broke out of the monster's grasp, feeling a surge of power. She suddenly heard a voice in her head. 'Go for the silver paintbrush.' Freaked out, she did. Before she knew it, it has transformed into a bow and a sling of arrows had appeared on her back.
