I guess she did dream walking so she wou feel useful again. A Royal Problem pretyt much showed Celestia did all the actual work that made Equestira wheels turn. Tehy could hae at least shown Luan with some paperwork at least. or talk about a late night meeting or you know, some indication she does stuff. Night Court is fanon anyway.

I’m actually interested in the possible successor question as well. It’s been hinted that Luna is basically a dream therapist in a way, even going so far as to suggest that really nasty nightmares can cause permanent damage to the mental health of a pony. 
 

Jim Miller mentioned that his intent with the merging of the crowns was to symbolize that Twilight can now handle the sun and moon going forward. Maybe she can work dream magic too. Maybe there is another. 

 

 

 

That pretty much makes me think that Luna had no reaosn to Retire.Her job didn't seem all that hard. IF not for her Dreamwalking she pretty much useless when it comes to running a nation. or the show just never showed us anything she does tha matters other then dream therapy. Maybe she still does that in retirement who knows.

So...not to disrespect Luna or anything but, uh What exactly did she do for Government other then Dream walking? Because if she 'retired' does tha mean nopony or creature is getting dream help anymore? I mean it seems that was her ONLY job!  Celestia did all the real work in the physical world.

The only one that relaly makes sense to me is Soccer. the other requires hands.

MLP FIM Gave me a chance to socialize and make freinds along the way. I"m sad to see it end but at the same time I"m glad we got what we did.
I don't know what MLP really taught me but it was qut the adventure.

The Fandom will go on, just like how Star Trek moved on and such.
Most of my social life though came from MLP fandom...

If Spike did marry Rarity, it would make him Sweetie Belle's brother-in-law, which is a lot easier than thinking of him as dad. And if Spike married Apple Bloom, then he and Big Mac would be brothers, which would be kind of neat.

Uh...what? we see Sweetie parents multiple times. Sure its' rarity but they do hang wit her and such.. Taht theroy don't maek any sense at all. Plus spike is like 13ish...

I agree, they never fleshedh er out atall. she just plain crazy as the Joker, tha' it. just plain cookie...Where are her parents, why is she this way ect ect.

Yes, that was my reaction to the alst few wpisdoes. They felt ile they belong in younger seasons rather then Sesoan nine. MLP always had abad conituty issue with in termso fcharacter grotwth sticking.

I"m still mixed about this episode myself. The facial experesions have kind of worn thin for me. They were funny at first but now over used

ugh, i facepalmed so hard at the mane six in this one. Leadership is all about delegating. How do they not know this! Twilight runs Winter Wrap UP for crying out loud. Just made it really infuriating with Twilight finally figure it out and i shouting "Yes that the whole point!"

oh and of course Fancy Pants is a butt in this episode really OOC for him. last time he was a jerk was in Princess Spike. Why don't they use BloueBlood instead?

I watched it and found it rather....okay...wasn't bad but wasn't anyting really that special. Sure the cameo of the parents was nice but The lack of apologize to Big Mac was just irritating. Mac overworked and they don't say "Sorry" oh come on! It was their fault he overworked himself. They kept hamming in that nail so ..dang..hard...

So iguess Equetira wil be under a Monarchy then? gues Twlight cna rename herself Queen

I did not liek this episode at all. Smolder painfully obivous. Garble's aciton are somehow forgiven jsut because he a poet. which doesn't justify his action by the way! 
Luahgter cause fire breath. Yeah remember when Spike would laugh and cause fire..nope neither do i! They don't know how to take care of htier own young! are you kidding me.

Yeah i have to agree wit other that this episd is really mixed bag. The message at the end seems muddied. "Oh be yourself, and if people don't like that, then they aren't your freinds" That a terrible message to send to kids! That kind of message is how yu get entitled brats to immerge. 

Draogn Lord taking care of the eggs is really weird. plus we never do leanr how Spike egg got into Celestia hands either.

Agreed, it seemed they ran into a wall with CMC after they got htier cutie marks an thus needed new things. But i still like the mane six better then the students.

Well i like them ...all but Sandbar. he just so...bleh bland as toast. At least the rest at least have something.  My favorite is Gallus and Silverstream.

it's a mixed bag for me. The ending felt a bit sudden but given hwo many gags they used i can see htey ran out of time for it. The Luna grudge thing wa a tad confusing but uh..okay iguess...
