Adorable image manipulation of what Derpy might look like in My Little Pony and Friends form <3 This picture has actually compelled me to check out the TV-specials.

Given that I was part of the Finnish punk rock scene for years when I was a teenager, and my experiences in it, it would be safe to bet that Anarchopunks could probably make some form of an anarchistic society work. Any cohesive and truly functioning society needs to be based on free-associations, since power establishments by their very nature breed inequality and top-down tyranny amongst the populace.

Look at my avi, look at my signature, look at my profile. What would you think?

-I am - and have been for a long time - completely and utterly in love with Ponyville's ditziest mailmare. -I'm in an "imaginary" relationship with said mailmare. -I have a lenghty criminal record, full of juvenile delinquency. -I once stole a guitar from my local music shop by taking one of my older guitars with me in a guitar case, and then swapping it with the one in the store. -I suffer from three different mental disorders. -I tend to get extremely jealous whenever I see shipping pictures, involving Derpy with... well, ANY colt, I guess. -I find real-life horse and pony mares sexually attractive, and I think there's a definite possibility that I may be a latent zoophile.

Sometimes the right thought at the right time can be enough to bring you back from the brink and save you from yourself. That's all I'm gonna say here.

I was born in 1994, so, obviously, my Star Wars experience has been very different from yours. My first exposure to the universe was in 1997, when my mom bought the Special Edition VHS boxset for my dad for his 33rd birthday. I watched the films in chronological order, and it was the most mindblowing experience I'd ever had. Not that I have too many memories from that time, as I was, in fact, only three years old, but I do remember watching episodes IV, V, and VI in one sitting. Very vividly, in fact. I was hooked from the start, and I actually started following the Expanded Universe almost straight away. My first EU experience was the Dark Empire comic series, followed by the Tales of the Jedi comics, and then the Thrawn trilogy. I feel absurdly lucky to have been born in the mid-90's, though. I was able to experience ALL of the wonderfully diverse and compelling EU material as it came out during the late 90's and early 2000's. My personal favorite era is the Old Republic era, especially the time period that ranges from the early Mandalorian Neo-Crusades to the final duel between the Jedi Exile, and Darth Traya on Malachor V. There's something about the ancient history of the Star Wars universe that is just endlessly fascinating to me, especially the history of Jedi, Sith, and the Old Republic as a democratic body. -
My first pony dream ever was NSFW in nature, and involved Rainbow Dash in an extremely steamy scenario which I can't recount here, for obvious reasons. It was shocking to me, because, at the time, I was actually a militant anti-clopper. That dream sort of opened the floodgates for me, though, after which there was no going back.

I loved the New Jedi Order and Legacy of the Force storylines, but, I'm not gonna lie, sometimes the utter and unrelenting grimdark was just way too off-putting. With Chewie, Anakin, and Ganner Rhysode dying in the Yuuzhan Vong War, and Jaina slaughtering Darth Caedus, it was just too much for me to take at times. Jaina Solo confronts her Twin brother, Darth Caedus (formerly Jacen Solo) aboard the star destroyer Anakin Solo, during the Battle for the Uroro Station. -

This is a common misconception amongst the more ignorant Star Wars fans. EU was in fact canon, it's just that it was part of the lower-tier, continuity canon, which means that it could be overridden by movie and television material at any given time. The keeper of the holocron, Leland Chee, has confirmed this many, MANY times over the years. Zayne Carrick duels his former Master, Lucien Draay, amongst the ruin and rubble of what was once the Draay Estate on Coruscant. Was this an AVGN reference? -
-Arachnophobia - fear of spiders. And then I have this completely weird phobia related to tall and imposing structures. Usually, radio masts, water towers and other such things trigger this reaction of unease and dread in me, especially when they have red lights on them. It'd be interesting to know whether or not anyone else has this experience.
