  1. I personally prefer the middle way. It's nice to have just the right sized group of people who appreciates and supports what you do, while small enough so that you don't get constantly bombarded with attention. From what I've seen, folks with <100,000 subs on YouTube or <20k followers on Twitter tend to be in that comfy zone. A little bit more and things get pretty spammy. It may seem like a lot at first sight, but if you do think so, you'll be genuinely surprised at how most people don't actually interact with who they're following all that much beyond a few likes and reposts here and there.
  2. What concerns me is how some of them repetitively send death threats. I don't really care if they are "doing it for the lolz" or are serious about it, it could classify as harassment.
  3. -Patiently waits for someone who's favorite pony is Princess Celestia to respond- Edit: Damn didn't read the whole thing haha
  4. Butt, since my hands are restricted I could only throw kicks, and it makes sense since horses usually kick with their hindlegs, but if it were really up to me I would drag one of the senior students from my JKD fam with me to be the butt while I take the head, he kicks like a mule. Before any of you object, I'm not talking about kicking people, I'm talking about kicking...uh...urm...boards?
  5. Depends on the person and what he/she likes - less talk more action, deep and insightful "friendship lessons," or nonstop rofl humor, etc.
  6. In Chinese, there is what is similar to a "loan word," but it's only used on extremely rare occasions, until there is no other means that we could describe the foreign term using our own language, and even then it's usually only for foreign names, like "Bob" translating to “鲍勃" to keep the similar pronunciation. In this case, we do have a word to describe pony/horse, so we use it instead of substituting with a "loan word."
  7. The Chinese term for anybody is "任何人,” literally translating to "any human." So the Chinese term for anypony would probably be "任何马," or "any horse/pony" in literal translation.
  8. While this is personally not my thing, I can sort of understand why people do. Although I am genuinely surprised that having other players treat you substantially better was not mentioned in the previous posts. - Create beautiful looking female character - Name her something cute or convincing enough for others to assume you are a female gamer - "Act feminine" and "act cute." - Most people start treating you significantly nicer, helping you out, and giving you free stuff if it's possible Before you raise the question, no, it does not work nearly as well with a male character, if at all. One of the few only forseeable negative consequences is some people become so convinced that you are who you seem to be that they "confess their feelings for you," and/or try to date you, which could make for some awkward scenarios. Probably has something to do with how some RPGs have player bases mainly consisting of males. Maybe all of this is related to where I came from. In Chinese MMOs pretending you are some cute gamer girl is common practice, and it still works.

  13. So apparently the new post-Kojima Metal Gear is a zombie survival apocalypse game. I’m reserving my judgment until the release but honestly right now I’m not liking what I’m seeing. What do you think?

      The Cynical Lone Wolf

Its Knomi and the maker of the game left. Far as I know, 5 was the last of the series and Metal Gear only can go down hill from here
