  1. Fleet's eyes widened as she flapped her wings lightly, carrying her toward the paper that had fallen. She glanced at it, unsure of what it was, and groaned loudly, knowing that she would have to return the paper to the stallion. "Well, he's going to have to wait until morning," she almost growled to herself in irritation. Tucking the page deep inside of the bag, which had cooled down long ago, she grabbed her things and took off toward her alley, where she could at least eat and sleep in peace.
  2. Fleet begrudgingly turned around. Her food was getting colder by the second. "As if you haven't already guessed, but there's no sense in beating 'round the bush. An alleyway on the edge of town. Don't worry about me. I've been there ever since I was a filly," Fleet explained, looking Cryptical Code straight in the eyes.
  3. By now, Fleet had nearly forgotten where exactly she was going, but it didn't take very long to remember as an image of the dark alleyway formed in her mind. She looked down at her hooves, ears flat as she picked up her bag before brushing past him, "Home, I guess. Good luck with the little guy," she muttered over her shoulder, "See you around."
  4. Fleet sighed, realizing he wasn't giving up, "Fine." She took the pouch between her teeth, listening to the somewhat satisfying jingle of clashing bits as she dropped it in her paper sack. "But just know that it's only because you're so insistent," she added. "Now, you know my story. Why are you here?" she questioned, nosy and curious as always.
  5. Fleet nodded in response to his question, and her eyes went wide when she was given back her food, but when he presented the bag of money, she shook her head, "I don't need your charity, thank you very much." It pained her to say it, though, but she found herself too stubborn to accept. Plus, she wouldn't feel right about it, especially seeing the young filly begin to cry at the stallion's feet. She motioned toward the child with a hoof, "Use it for him. I'm perfectly fine without it."
  6. She narrowed her eyes yet again, though she resisted the urge to yell again after seeing the young pony looking scared. "Alright, maybe I did take it, but so what? That doesn't matter. It belongs to me now," she insisted, sounding more urgent now but matching the volume of the stallion so as not to frighten the foal. She tucked her wings back in, realized her usual strategies weren't going to work this time, just as her stomach growled a second time.
  7. "H-hey! That's mine!" Fleet protested, glaring daggers at him and instinctively unfurled her wings. She had found that it made her seem bigger, which definitely helped her thin size. It had also been taken as a signal that she might attack by some ponies, though she wasn't planning on hurting him. She wouldn't be very capable of such a thing, and she didn't want to commit any crime she didn't need to. Stealing was for survival, but assault was unnecessary. "Give it back!" She had tried to sound threatening, but her voice cracked mid-sentence, cancelling out her attempt.
  8. Fleet took a step back, contemplating whether she should answer or not. She still had time to run, and they would probably just forget, but he had already seen her! He would report her theft either way: she was caught. She sighed to herself. This wasn't like her, she was never scared, especially of something like this. She stepped forward again, flattening her ears back as she dropped the bag at her hooves. "I could ask you the same question," she snapped back, "but if you must know, the name's Fleet, and I don't think my motives are of your concern, even though it should be obvious to you. Now, what? You gonna arrest me?" She couldn't help but notice how similar his clothing was to that of some sort of under-cover cop, so she immediately assumed the worst, as was usual for her nature. She couldn't help but steal a glance down into the slowly cooling paper bag, her stomach rumbling with intense hunger as she scanned over the contents. Why did she have to get into this mess? She could be eating right now if she hadn't turned into this stupid alley.
  9. Fleet held her head high, proudly carrying a tan paper bag between her teeth as she trotted along in the shadows of a building. She grinned, snickering silently as she remembered that no pony had noticed her taking the bag, which was still sending waves of warm air into her face. It had been a long time since she had last escaped completely unnoticed, especially from a fancy restaurant like that. Oh well, she thought, they can afford to make more. The smell of whatever it may have been that she had stolen flooded her senses, causing her mouth to water, but she resisted the urge to dig in then and there. She had to get back to the alley first. About a yard ahead of her, she caught sight of another alley, most likely one that would lead to the next street over. If she could just cut through that one, then her trip would take far less time. Without thinking, she rounded the corner, but froze in place when she caught sight of the two other ponies: a filly half-way inside of a dumpster and a grown stallion. Great, she thought to herself. She considered running, but she was frozen to the spot in shock. No pony came out at night, especially in dark alleys like these.
  10. Eh, why not? I could use a little practice role-playing. Could I join in with Fleet? http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/fleet-r5228

    Yo...?

Yeah, it's a pretty nice place. It's not quite as hot as everyone says, but the average temperature is definitely somewhere in the 80s or 90s, at least in the Summer and Spring. ^^' Thanks. It's nice to meet ya'. :3 I agree. I've seen quite a bit of the things people here can do; it's pretty amazing. And I'm glad to be here. Thank you!
  13. I could probably take a guess at 'em. Twilight: I'm gonna have to say that she would be either Chinese or Finnish. Chinese because of their huge focus on education and excelling grades/performance, and Finland because of their high graduation rate and high quality educational system. Applejack: You all know what I'm gonna say: most likely American, more specifically Texan, although she could also be Japanese. She fits the whole country girl idea. I mean, she lives on a farm. I'm sure I sound like I'm simply going off of stereotypes, but as a Texan myself, both her lifestyle and personality fit pretty well, although I can assure you her accent is either over-exaggerated or that from another state(perhaps Tennessee, as many of you are suggesting). The reason I also included the possibility of being Japanese is that she has a huge focus on family, one of the more important aspects of life in Japan. They respect their family members, especially those who are older, and they're just flat-out a fairly family-based group of people(not that Texans aren't the same way, which we are to an extent). Rainbow Dash: I can't really think of something on the spot, but I know a lot of you are suggesting Kenya for their athleticism. Most likely any country with a strong athletic focus and "can-do" attitude. Fluttershy: I have to say somewhere in Africa, if only for her love for nature and animals. Africa is practically known for its exotic wildlife, with all kinds of animals and plants that Fluttershy would die to meet and see(respectively). Pinkie Pie: Wow, this one is hard. Maybe Russian, or even Swedish? Someplace known for being outgoing and loud. In fact, she could probably be American, since the U.S. is the "melting pot" after all. Pinkie Pie's crazy nature fits the diversity of the United States' many citizens, so that might work. Rarity: Definitely some European country, like Italy or something. Europeans are known to be pretty polite and neat for the most part, and some countries are very focused on fashion as well. Almost any European country would work for her.

    Yo...?

Oh wow, thank you everyone for your kind words! Once I get used to the place I'll definitely be trying to post some stories, though I haven't written very many MLP fan-fictions before, so this'll be a learning experience for me. ^^ Hehe, yeah. The fandom seems pretty popular here. Thanks again! :3

    Yo...?

Hi, my name's Nin(Not obvious at all, nope.). ^^ I'm from Texas and I'm new here('Bet you couldn't tell, right? ... Right?), though I have glanced at the site a few times before I made an account. Writing stories and such seems to be my forte, though I also really like to draw, and I've been doing so for a while. This seems like a pretty great place, and I'm really looking forward to my time here. Oh, and it's nice to meet you all.
  16. Oh dear... I'd have to say that the intro song and the cafeteria song are tied for my favorite. Both were absolutely amazing; they were both really well made and the cafeteria song was really catchy!
