  1. Crazy riff, crazy solo, crazy riff, crazy solo, crazy drum fill, crazy bass solo......pause........completely indecipherable garbage disposal vocals! I love Necrophagist, haha! EDIT: Oh, yeah, and that Derpy is freaking adorable!
  2. It's all about the depth of the show; the OP is totally correct about that. And as I've said before, because it's designed to be a kid's show, you don't feel like you have to put up an emotional wall to watch it, unlike so many movies and shows. This assists with the perceived emotional depth, Great post, yo.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWc8ywwx-rI But I understand; I need my Luna fix!
  4. Here you go. Other than being a minty-striped, cartoon zebra, he looks a lot like me!

    request Sort of a request...

Anybody else watch Regular Show? A picture popped into my head of Fluttershy and Mordecai beating Rigby's butt at video games and going, "OoooooOOOoooooo!!!" I have no idea why this popped into my head, but if somepony wants to make this picture a reality, I'd be very grateful and laugh a lot! If you turn it into a little flash, I'll make a bit of music for it, ha!
  6. People like the green! Awww, yeah!
  7. Dude, hot carrots are where it's at! One of the best snack foods, ever. In habenero juice? Keep your chocolate or caramel close by!
  8. All digital audio has sample rates (normal is 44.1 thousand times a second, the audio is sampled), whereas analogue has an infinite sample rate. All of the extremely high, "hidden partials" (harmonics) are lost on digital recordings, but are possibly retained on analogue mediums. They all help support that fundamental! You think you like vinyl, wait until you hear 2" tape masters.
  9. Cooking is one of my favorite arts, though I am far from being an artist at it. Indian, Thai, Oakie-white-trash-americana and Mexican are my foods of choice. Really, anything spicy or mind-numbingly caloric!
  10. Gah! Why did you have to post Grave of Fireflies?! She made him rice balls... I keep that movie on the shelf until one of my friends thinks their life is difficult, then I say, "Here, borrow this," while I'm wearing a haz-mat suit.
  11. Living in California so close to the Mexican border, if you can't handle spicy food, you're looked at as an anomaly. Heat cleans you out, and it's delicious, to boot!
  12. Good lord, I still haven't heard his new album! ... ...gotta practice, too...
  13. Other than underground bands? Avant Garde 20th century music.: Spectral (listen at CANTERLOT VOLUME for full effect):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kX77MC5oXDY Tone Cluster (look at Giger artwork for full effect):
  14. Grindcore, dude, grindcore. It's the only "core" genre I can get away with listening to. I in no way meant to insinuate that Napalm Death was metalcore, haha!
  15. Dude, being married, for me at least, has been the best possible thing. There's only one thing you need to know for a happy marriage: keep those lines of communication flowing! Soooooo important.... ... ...and love is a verb, an action word that you do on purpose... ... come to think of it, there are many things you should know about getting married, but most important is open, honest communication.
  16. Ah, I hear you gained a few skill points in production (mixing and mastering). Sounding great so far.
  17. Thanks for sharing! But it's not my style, bro. They sound a little metalcore for me, and I stay away from anything with "core" anywhere near it, unless it's Napalm Death. Good musicians, though. Nah, I like thrash, death and some blackened death; I think I just prefer lower voices and atonal guitars...unless it's Arch Enemy, who have higher voices and tonal guitars, but I love them anyway. But if you want a band that looks exactly how they sound... http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=38j-i8jH7xk Have you tried any folk/pagan metal? Einherjer, Finntroll, Amon Amarth, Eluveitie? Or some Euro-power-metal? Hammerfall, Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius? For being an American, I'm such a Euro-metal snob, LOL!
  18. Growing up in the 80's and early 90's, I was put off by the social stigma related to the franchise, and my memory of those COMMERCIALS (it STILL hurts to hear the first part of the theme song). But then I saw Flutterguy singing online and one of my students told me about the folks working on the show, and I said, "well, I have to watch it, now." So glad I did.
  19. d.notive, Not A Clever Pony, Replacer and Bronyfied. I listen to their stuff all the time. Too bad about Not A Clever Pony, though; I love some good EBM.
  20. Instead of Michael Bay, let's get the guy who did Black Dynamite to write and direct it....or NO! Quentin Tarantino! Quentin Tarantino!
