  1. Okay, so I've been seeing a lot of Alliance vs. Horde discussion, and I'll add my two cents in. Alliance is boring unless you go gnome or dwarf. Horde side is a lot more memorable on the leveling side, plus Alliance are always douches in PvP.

My opinion on the Alli races:

    Humans: Boring.

    Dwarves: Awesome.

    Gnomes: Awesome.

    Worgen: Hairy humans.

    Draenei: Basically the Protoss.

    Nelves: Douchebags.

Why are the Dwarves and Gnomes so awesome anyways? Do you like the Horde or the Alliance better?

  2. I've played a couple races of the Horde.

    A Blood Elf, Blood Knight.

    A Goblin Shaman.

A Pandaren Monk of the Huojin.

All of them were fun and subversive roles to play. Befitting the Horde as "the other guys" and even the otherwise villains, the RP opportunities are less traditional than in the Alliance.

Are Goblins an interesting race to play through as?

  3. Neither. Or both.

I think they are both interesting cross sections of different cultures. I'm also in a sad minority that think the two sides should not be fighting and should seek peace, out of universe PvP be damned.

It just occurred to me that you might be asking because you require help on which one you should join. Is that correct?

Well, I did want to be on the Alliance. I did. I read so many things about both factions on these forums and on the WoW forums and people basically think that the Alliance sucks. I normally try not to be influenced but I'm unsure of my decision.

    The basic answer is yes.

  4. The Tushui. I agreed with their philosophy far more than the Huojin.

"Discipline is not a war that is won. It is a battle, constantly fought." - Master Feng

The way of the Tushui is one of a principled life. Followers of this discipline believe there is a moral certainty to the world: one correct path of right and wrong. These Values are immutable, and must be preserved no matter what the cost. Even if it means self sacrifice, or painful losses in the pursuit of a higher ideal.

. . . Oh and they joined the Alliance because Master Cloudsinger found their outlook to fit within Tushui thinking.

Do you like the Alliance or the Horde better?

  5. I have never played WOW but I sorta always wanted to

I'm in your boat right now.

Awwww that's a shame. Before Mists, my main was a Draenei Vindicator as well. I do admit there is a certain glamor to channeling the forces of the Nether into something positive.

You said you played a Pandaren. Which faction did you choose?

  6. I wanted someone to talk to about this so I came here. I've been watching Pokémon since forever and I've decided to expand past Pokémon. I got some advice to try Fairy Tail as a starter so I did. I liked it and I've only seen a couple of a episodes. I wanted to expand even further so I remembered something about a show called Soul Eater. I thought it might be ok and I'm only gotten about maybe five minutes or so into the first episode and I already like it. (I'm watching it as I type.)

I'm here though because I'd like to expand even further. I'd like to watch even more anime but I don't know any other shows than the ones I mentioned. (Except digimon, but never mind that) I like action, comedy and adventure. Also Romance isn't half bad either. So give me some shows to try.

And discuss amongst yourselves about which is better too, I suppose...

  7. Ha! First rule of fanfiction: Never read your stories too many times.

At least, that's the rule I've come up with. If I read my stories that I wrote too many times, they start to sound awful no matter how good they started out looking. An author once said, "Never go back to read the story you wrote. You'll think it's awful." I used to answer, "Then how will I edit it?"

Anyways, you could write about how Spitfire crashes onto Applejack's farm. Unfortunately for Spitfire, Applejack hates because (Yadda yadda backstory backstory) and refuses to help her. Applejack warns others not to help her but Fluttershy starts to secretly help her on the side. She gets caught (Yadda yadda) happy ending.

I'd never write something this emotional.

  8. It stands for Auction House. It's where players sell weapons, armour, craftable goods and others for gold. There's one in capital cities, and another in Gadgetzan and Booty Bay.

And Ironforge, Ashran, Dalaran, and I think Shattrath.

Oh, Thanks! Is the Auction House a great place to make Gold easily in the beginning? (Just looking for as much advice as possible before I start the game)

  9. I prefer physical copies of games so I can hold onto the boxes and stare at the front and backs of them. The boxes also make great decorations so that if someone were to come into my room, I can show off my games and say, "Hey, I'm a gamer and you know it."

Personally, my first game was a physical copy of Mario Kart so that might have started the personal preference of physical copies more than digital.

I do have Animal Crossing New Leaf in a Physical copy. I'm not really sure what the different would be between the digital copy and the physical copy besides preference anyways.

  10. I used to play Minecraft. I stopped only because I began to grow bored of it and the only thing that fixed that were mods which I had to triple check to make sure they were safe and took a ton of work (for me since I know nothing about computers) to install. I also stopped because the game was somehow making me sick (yes, nauseous for whatever twisted reason) and I don't blame the game for that. But it's a good game that I still support on the inside. From the game updates that I hear about from people who know the game, only sounds like it's getting better.

Minecraft will not fall today. It will rise from the ashes like a phoenix and spread it's wings to ride on the winds of change. Good luck to everyone involved.
