  1. Fuck I accidently deleted this post... I will rewrite it in the morning. I edited this one instead of posting a new one by missclicking quote... Very sorry guys. Summarizing everything, I ask if diamond sings a song for me, and octavia pushes me out of the way...
  2. Runedawn wa standing at the top of a cliff, looking far down to the ponies that he had left behind. @@Thepumpkinking,@@Torrent505, @,@@dashian500, @, @, "OI, YE MUCKLED DARNED DIMWITS! YE WANNA GET TO CANTERLOT OR NOT!" He screamed down, and then proceeded to climb upwards again, with his full bags and hammer on his back. He had already made quite a lot of progress getting to canterlot. He didn't feel like fighting, or leading, or talking at all. He wanted to climb this mountain and forge the sun like he had planned! The idea alone got him all excited. If he were to get up canterlot he'd be able to talk to Luna about it... He didn't care about the dogs, or the heirlooms, or anything but his goal now. He had to help save Equestria, and quick! With his soul and body he was focused on this one purpose. The others just had to catch up.
  3. @ @ @ Scribblegroove looked at the screaming mare as she interrupted their conversation coming up the stairs. "Excuse me miss, but would you mind keeping your voice down? We're not yet in a metal concert..." He said with a dissaproving voice. He then turned to Diamond, but made sure the others could hear. "Then why didn't you say so darling! I just came up with a few new things that I want to record, so this a perfect oppertunity to show you how I work!" From all the way downstairs, out of Scribblegroove's bags, empty music sheets and three quills came floating up with his magic. "Advanced telekenesis studies is nice if you want to write music as fast as you can think it!" He said chuckling. He then started writing down notes on three different papers, all with a different title. He turned to crossfade: "One of these is going to be something to dance to for sure!" He started to walk towards the studio, mumblinf three different melodies at a time, scribbling it all down what was now already the 3 pair of papers. (thus 9 pieces of paper in total) "Diamond, are you comeïng? I'm about to start..." Scribblegroove was a bit too enthisiastic to show off, but he'd be just as eager if there wouldn't be anypony arouns. His new music fascinated him! He started to feel it flow through his body. "This is what I was made for..." He whispered.
  4. Scribblegroove laughed at the little filly. "Well you are right about the goose chase. Both of us are definately not DJ's. But it can't harm to broaden your view right?" Then he remembered that he had entirely rejected someone who was listening dubstep, but now he was preaching about broadening view! "Well, dubstep isn't exactly broadening..." he thought to himself. "My name is Scribblegroove. I make jazzy stuff. Most people aren't very interested im jazz, but I believe it's the complexity of my music that pushes most ponies away. The real jazz enthusiasts stay though. Even though my audience is rather small compared to most 'metal' bands or 'dubstep' authors, you could say that I am one of the most succesful jazz musicians out there... Even though you probably never heard of me..." Scribblegroove's tone of voice grew a littlebit dark throughout that little lecture, but then it brightened up again. "You however, I have heard of! Or more your brother actually. Frost, wasn't that his name? Anyway, we were just finished with the studio, but if you want we can stay for a while longer and see what you can do Crossfade! They are quite the gems you know. Best of the best!" He pointed at the still unclosed door. He then turned to Diamond. "Excuse me, what were you saying just then?" He said.
  5. Scribblegroove was rather dissapointed that Diamond hadn't hasked him to play something, as he had predicted the contrary. He turned around and started to say, as he was walking to the door "Well, this place looks cool, I'm going to be here most of the time for s..." But then he was interrupted by the filly who was suddendly in front of him. @ "Oh, hello. Who might you be? I haven't seen you around here yet..." He greeted her.
  6. Scribblegrooves jaw dropped again. He voice was so de deep and yet so clear. It was like the perfect combination between opera and pop. Then he got an idea. Her voice was near hypnotising. The soundwaves on the monitor where even beautiful for bucks sake! He stomped his hooves on the floor as an applause. "Bravo, bravo, your voice is truly amazing! My humble tenor voice can't possibly match it!" He said as she finished her song. He turned down the gate and replayed it immediately for her. "Just hear that! It's amazing... The mic is really good! And as I said so is your voice!" He wondered how she could've thaught her to sing like that herself.
  7. He looked at Diamond and chuckled as well. "The most expensive piece of equipment I have was the custom mic that Leonard has made for recording my horn. It looks really stupid, like a hat on top of it, but it gives a sound quality equal to... well, near-reality actually. He didn't exactly tell me how much it cost him, but he said his university had funded the project, so I think it is worth quite a lot..." He explained. "The rest of my studio isn't very impressive. We have good stuff, but not many entrances, since I usually get recorded alone... We don't have a lot, but the quality is good. We rent the building we record in. I usually write in my room though. There's music sheets all over the place!" Scribblegroove really did want to try out the equipment. He looked at Diamond, who seemed to be impressed as well. "Why don't you sing a little, just to see how good this stuff really is..!" He said. He hoped that she'd actually sing. He wanted to know how good she was... "If your voice is as good as your looks we should be good!" He added, hoping that the compliment would make her give. He flicked on the switchboard and open the gate for the main microphone, the big studio microphone in the middle of the room. He pointed at it, gesturing her to sing in it.
  8. @ You forgot these: "The bullets come out of the slim end, mate!" Sniper, TF2 "You cannot burn me! I am already ablaze with the fire of passion, for war!" "Scotland is not a real country; you are an Englishman with a dress." Soldier, TF2 And this is a personal favorite of mine: "Now you. You can call me Ann Marie. But only if you're partial to being flayed alive and having an angry immortal skip rope with your entrails. If not... Then call me Sheogorath, Daedric Prince of Madness. Charmed." 9. Scribblegroove was already walking up the stairs, not waiting for encore's reaction. Encore would stop him if he was not supposed to go there, but why invite musicians to your house and NOT let them in your recording rooms. It wouldn't do any harm to nose around a little. When he got up the stairs he was a little bit confused. The room he entered was still kind of bit. Another lounge-ish space just like downstairs. However, there were two big doors to the left side of it, hiding the studio's from fight. Scribblegroove couldn't help but get a little excited. His Jazz-team didn't have any great budgets, so their recording rooms were good, but not great. This place however looked like it could afford recording tech of the gods. He waited a while for diamond to get upstairs. When she was, he walked towards one of the big doors and opened it. Scribblegroove was not dissapointed. The room led to a big storage room full of equiment and instruments, with a few walkways inbetween them. The sound-proof wall on the opposite side of the one he had just entered through led to a room with a gigantic switchboard. Some call it "The studio in a box" Since it has the best of everything you can get out there to record anything. It had about 64 entrances, enough to record an entire orchestrea. The monitors on the side of it were currently on black, but would display the soundwaves that every singe instrument produced in the room that was behind a glass window. Another door to the side of the enormous switchboard led into a big, empty soundproof room, built to prevent soundwaves from echoïng around. There was space in here to fit, as he thought, an entire orchestrea of ponies in it! His jaw dropped... The soundproofing of this room alone must've cost around 12.000 bits, calculating out the installation. This truly was a music-walhalla. The music instrument in the storage of instruments would probably add up to something over 25.000 bits, and the switchboard was perhaps around 10.000 bits. And then to think that this entire room had to be custom built to give the perfect accoustics. And on top of that, there were TWO studio's! He then realised he was in the vicinity of a lady. He shut his mouth, right before he started drooling on the floor and exclaimed: "Well, this looks pretty impressive doesn't it..." He turned around to look at diamond, hoping she'd be just as impressed as he was. If not, then he'd like to see HER studio as well. He listened to her answer while he was playing around with the switchboard a bit.
  10. "Hand me all earthstriker heirlooms you have. Put them in this triangle and we might not harm you. You have ashamed every earthstriker that has ever lived by doing this." Runedawn said. He was happy that he did not have to fight. Forging was more his style, and now that willow had gained new powers, he started to remove the runes from his armor and put them in his bag. With the power, he felt a weight being lifted from his shoulders.
  11. Runedawn laughed at the dogs. Their stupidity and ignorance was endless. He grabbed Willow and put her aside him in at impossibe speed. He put one hoof om her head, and the magic stream to the stone seer stopped. Runedawns arcane rune began to glow. "Fools, do you not know what you have in front of you. I am not just an earthstriker... I am the force of the world. Do you really think that you tiny little mortal dogs can conquer a force that has been keeping the world alive since the dawn of time? I am going to kill all of you, and this cave is going to be your grave. Underneath runedawn, the same circle-triangle pattern appeared out of nowhere in the ground. It was glowing bright red. "Do you know the cause of earthquakes alpha? If you don't comply to my request, you are about to witness it..." He yelled: "All ponies to me now!" He looked at the seer, and decided that he could be a nuisancd. He let the hilt of his hammer slide down in his hooves, and its underside hit the ground. A short, but powerful directed quake knocked over the old dog. It probably also pulverised few of his bones... He then turned around to cujo, swinging his hammer along the way. He hit cujo with so much force that a sonic blast exploded in his face. Runedawn had swung his hammer faster than sound. Then suddendly Runedawn collapsed. Only these two actions already had depleted most of his energy. He quickly got up again, and felt extremely tired.
  12. "Runedawn..." A voice, deep and low, resonated im Runedawns mimd. "I see you have decided to use the runes to runesmith your own body and soul... Do not let those dogs get the 'core' rune. If they do get it, they could seriously harm the world by mere stupidity." It was the voice of Austri, the first earthstriker... He spoke to Runedawn as he travelled through the earth with molten stone and iron. The heat did not harm him. It comforted him, preparing him for the battle he was about to fight. "And do not lose the rune representing you either. If they control you, they control the core, and thus us ancients too..." Runedawn knew all this, but it was nice to be reminded of it. "Stand tall like the mountains and fight with the fury of a volcano Runedawn... Strike the earth!" Runedawn erupted from the cave floor right in front of the alpha, rex. The pillar of flames lit up the entire room in such a way that runedawn seemed like a demon, crawling up from the earth. He saw the armor, forged by at least 15 runesmiths, all of them captured by the dogs. Most likely killed and eaten by the dogs too. It infuriated him. "DOG! Where are my friends! Release them now and I shall not harm you nor any of your canine scum men!" He bassed through the cave, his voice so loud that the entire cave system rumbled. "You have violated every value of the Earthstrikers, and therefore you will be punished, but not killed if you surrender immeadiately. Runedawn could feel the runes empowering him. His veins were on fire and his mind sharper then ever. "What do you say, vermin!" Runedawn spat on the ground before rex.
  13. Runedawn kept his eyes closed... There was so much happening at once that he could not decide what he had to do. Then he decided that he would do everything... And fast as hell he would. He stepped out of the triangle and walked to his bags that he had left on the side of it. He then grabbed out what looked like an armor. He donned it as quickly as he could. There seemed to be 9 sockets for runes in it. He filled them with a few of the most powerful runes he had. At the outer sides, he added 'Strength' and 'Stone', giving him an stone-tough skin and the strength of the mountains. In the ones after that, he put the runes for 'Speed' and 'Motion', granting him the ability to move at extreme speed with perfect accuracy. The ones at the sides of the middle were imbued with the powers of 'magic' and 'arcane', making him capable of both defying and controlling magic. The middle rune socket was filled with the strongest rune in his arsenal. The 'core' rune, connecting him with the spirits of his ancestors, gaining their wisdom and strength. He could hear them speaking to him in his mind. They were all enraged. There was runic magic which was being abused. The ancient traditions had been broken, and someone had to be punished for it... He then added one last rune to his hammer. The rune resembled 'Runedawn', himself. As long as the rune was socketed and in the hammer, Runedawn could not die, but when someone else had the rune in his hand, he could control Runedawn to his every desire. Runedawn was obviously planning on not making that happen... He then turned to Wanderlust and Willow. "I will be right back... or not..." After this grim notice, he stood in the triangle again and closed his eyes. The power of the armor was draining his energy drastically. If he'd wear it for too long, he'd die anyway. He had to act quick. He placed 3 runes on the vertexes of the triangle again. The first being 'Heat', the second being 'Force' and the last being 'Control'. He then slowly started to hammer away at the runes on every vertex. All of them, one by one, slowly turning circles as he went... He started to slam faster and harder. The grooves he had dug lit up every time he hit the ground. He was already depleting his strength, but he kept going. Eventually the earth started to quake. Everything was moving. Some of the trees around were starting to fall down the earth below runedawn started to crack. A red-orange light came out of the cracks, slowly growing brighter. Suddendly runedawn stopped his strange ritual and slammed his hammer into the ground with the backside. An eruption of fire and molten stone flew up high into the sky right underneath runedawn, hiding him from sight for a very short while. When the fire had stop burning as powerful, and the lava had receded back into the ground, there was only a deep pit in the ground. Runedawn was gone. In the cave where the dogs were hiding and arguing, the earth began to shake...
  14. Runedawn and the rest of them had arrived at the ritual triangle he had drawn in the forest, passing over it as they were walking towards the camp. As soon as runedawn set hoof in the middel however, he sensed something that drew his attention. A beacon of runic magic, coming from the inside of the mountain shined invisiblu upon them, only visible to the ones standing in the triangle. Runedawn remembered that he had leeft his runes on the ground, thus rendering his ritual triangle still active. "Wait a second" he said to wanderlust and willow. He closed his eyes and let his soul sense the earth again. There was a cave in the mountain, so brightly lit with runic magic that it blinded him. He also sensed two tamed dark spirits, and a flame of love... "Wanderlust, when was the last time you saw Grell, Steel and Starstruck?" He asiel with his eyes still closed, frowning...
  15. Runedawn stepped out of the shower. The floor was covered with black mud from the ash and soot that had been all over him before he had taken a shower. He was smelling funny too. Lavender... For some reason he liked the smell, but it was totally not like him. "Well, I guess tonight i'm not going to be like me. I'm not going to be like me for a long time." He thought to himself. Still in the bathroom, he stepped in front of his mirror. His soaking wet hair was no longer all greasy, but it was still uncombed and messy. "Why am I doing this..." He doubted himself. But he didn't want to be considered a fool again, so he got to work. He combed his hair backwards, opening his face and bright orange eyes more properly to view. He already looked a lot more friendly and a lot less like a savage blacksmith. He made sure that there was no bit of hair out of place. "Geez, grooming yer hair is nearly harder than bending steel" Then he had a good look at himself in the mirror again. He had taken the braids out of his beard before he went showering. It was long and uncared for, and it still made him look like some sort of hermit... Runedawn sighed. "Let's get this over with..." Runedawn had searched around for clothing his size, but the only thing he could wear properly was the armor that he had forged for himself and packed. "Not exactly an evening gown..." So he decided to only wear a medallion which was imbued with the same runes as which were displayed on his cutie mark. It was a nice piece of jewelry, consisting out of an 'impossible alloy' of gold and marble. One of the perks of runesmithing was mending different minerals together which would normally not mix together. It looked very good with the chain of bronze that it was attached to. He took a while to read a few books that he found in the bookcase, hoping to find some fancy new words that he could use during dinner, but then the bell rang and he knew it was time. "Right then, show 'em your best side..." He took a last look at his hammer. Should he bring it or not? He got ridiculed for carrying it around all the time, so he eventually, after a lot of indecision, chose not to take it with him. When he stepped into the dining room, he was a different stallion in whole. He had left his hammer behind, his hair was combed backwards properly and was no longer full of ash, and his beard was also groomed into a proper shape, no longer making him look like some sort of viking: "Good evening, me dear acquaintances. May I compliment you two fine mares with the marvelous job you did making yourself look absolutely divine this evening. You simply outshine all equines that I 'ave had the luck to set me humble eyes on in quite a long time. I hope you do not mind me unclothed posture. The wardrobe's that I have searched through didn't have any attire that sufficed to dress a stallion of my particular size. I do not fear being eyeballed at too much however, since all the guests attending will most likely only pay their attention to the beautiful pair of mares that they have the honor to be in the vicinity of." He said with only a slightly hearable accent, and a lot of expensive words shoved into it which were pronounced perfectly. He sat on the other side of the table of the two mares. "I do hope, me fair ladies, that you can excuse me for my previous behavior this evening. I was not informed that I would be in the presence of ponies of this stature. It still does not explain me horrendous behavior to the princess though, and I can do nothing but apologize for that. I let me emotions get the upper hand over me at the time. I am but a mere blacksmith, and not a stallion of class and education. I do hope you two do not mind me sitting here..." He said with smooth tone of voice and proper articulation. He stroked his substatially shorter beard and winked slyly at the two mares. There could be no doubt that he had surprised them.
  16. He sighed. He kneeled down in front of willow, who was sitting on the stallions back. "Well willow, what's going on. You don't look too good..." He said with a voice as tender as he could produce, which was still pretty loud. He looked at willow for a moment. He had to think, but had to help willow at the same time. "We need to keep moving, walk slowly so I can talk with willow on the way..." He said to him. 'l'll take over embers, you've carried him plenty." He then looked at chilly, who still had this expressionless fac. It frightened runedawn a little, but he decided not to say anything.
  17. Runedawn had nearly made his way back to camp. Oblivious of what was going through chilly's mind, he said: "Did that thing hurt y..." His sentence was cut off by wanderlust running through the forest, making all sorts of noises. Branches breaking, hooves galloping and a little filly on his back making all sorts of weird noises. "OI, wander... Me and chilly're right 'ere ye know, no need ta worry... Where are the others?" He screamed at wanderlust. He looked around but steel, grell and star struck where nowhere to be found. Neither was embers, and he had no idea where saphire went. "Where the hell is everypony..." He said.
  18. Runedawn did not like the sarcasm in the strange ponies voice. "Ye can manipulate us all ye want, but I'm goin' to kill you eventually!" He screamed at the air the dark pony had just occupied. He didn't bother to look at chilly. "Sorry for leavin' ye behind, not very friendly of me... But we have to get goin' right now if we want to beat that... Thing. I think I know where the shards of the sun are, I just need a forge big enough to put 'em in..." He explained while already walking towards the group ahead. "Dit that thing try to get ye on his side... You know you can't let that happen. It will turn ye into a terrible pony' he preached. He then added chuckling: "And then I'd 'ave ta kill you too! We don't want that happenin'."
  19. @@Pinkie Paranoia, Runedawn looked at the foreign pony. He had immeadiately comlied to his request for help and seemed respectable. "I believe you as well. There is not enough direct evidence to even suspect ye!" Runedawn exclaimed with a smile. He saw that artemis was approaching and listened to what he had to say. "You look like a pony of many traits Artemis. It is quite the accomplishment that ye 'ave managed to follow us without even bein' seen!" Runedawn complimented him. @, @@Alex Kennedy "I am afraid I have to go now. I have to clean myself, otherwise I would sustain to be an attrocious appearance like I am now. I will see you all at dinnertime. I hope that you, bardic, could accomplish me in my room. I would like to read some of yer poëtry, so that I may improve me vocabulary to the extent that I can converse at the same literate level as me surroundings. t' was nice meeting ye Lost" Runedawn said, obviously trying to practice his manners. He walked to his room while saying: "I really do hope ye could come bardic, 't would help me a lot..."
  20. Runedawns muscles had warmed up enough for him to start sprinting, grabbing his hammer along the way. He ran through the forest, dodging the branches and rockes in his way. He ducked under one last branch and then emerged from the forest. He saw chilly in the distance and started to scream. "DO NOT TRUST HIM CHILLY!" He grabbed his hammer and but on the 'Arcane' Rune, a rune that counters any kind of magic. He then slipped and stood between the two figures. "I am not going to let you corrupt anypony!" He then turned to Chilly. "Whatever he said, don't believe him, he is a creature of dark force and whatever he is doing is wrong!" He then turned to the strange dark figure again. "GOL AKIIN SUN!" He screamed, and swung his hammer at him.
  21. Runedawn was about to release the forces of the earth when he was pushed back by an extreme cold that made the body that he had left behind shiver. He was pushed back extremely far into the earth. The cold was so strong that it only stopped when his spirit had reached hot magma. As he traveled closer to the earth, the voices of his ancestors became stronger, and he was pulled closer. "No... wait, I'm not dead yet!" He knew that he had to escape the earth's pull, otherwise his sould would be trapped and the bloodline would be lost forever. He used the forces he had prepared for the spectre to push himself upward again, through the cold crust and towards the spectre again. With him, a crack started to appear in the earth's stone, exposing the magma to open air. A crack was opened in the earth, right underneath the evil spectre. Steam, two hundred degrees hot blazed into its face, warming up the area instantly. The ice that it had created instantly vaporized. Runedawn used the last bit of his force to travel back to his body and enter again. He had to run to chilly to save him, he knew that using the core would only endager it to the strange ghost. As he entered his body, he could feel that it had cooled down because of the absence of the core's heat, and the power of the spectre. When he opened his eyes with his body again, he could barely move a muscle because of how stiff they were... He was scared that he'd be too late...
  22. @ Scribblegroove grabbed diamonds hoof and pulled himself up, only to be nearly knocked down by flash nearly running into him. "Wow, easy there..." He said, before realising that he had already ran for the bathroom and closed the door. "Strange" He said to himself." He waited for a while and thought "Why did he run for the bathroom? Couldn't he have just walked there". As soon as he had regained his balance he walked towards a large table which was full of all sorts of drinks. Most of them were alcoholic. Scribblegroove used his magic to pour himself a large coke with a tiny little bit of rum. He didn't like to drink too much. Usually he got very friendly and loose when he had a little alcohol, but some ponies considered it 'touchy' when he went too far witht he drinks. He also poured an appletini for diamond and passed it on to her, keeping it afloat until she grabbed it. "Appletini right? There you go. Lets go check out the next floor!" He said to diamond with a smile. "I'd like to see what kind of aperature a penthouse like this has to offer." He started walking towards the stairs. @ When he saw Encore still waiting for people to arrive, it became apparent to him that he might have to ask before going upstairs. "Hey... Encore, wasn't it? Do you mind if we go upstairs and check out the recording rooms for a bit? I'd like to see your tech."
