@, The wolf nodded to her regarding the departure, then bent close to her ear seeing they weren't alone. "Again... not a word to the crew..." He muttered as he cleared his throat to the new mare. @, "Well, the officers' cabins are along the outermost sections of the ship. Your particular cabin is on the first level. Miss mist, is it? If so, your cabin is next to mine. I'll lead you there, then I need to get this ship airborn." The wolf said, nodding to the captain. Departing the quarters, the wolf lead the mare along the ship until they reached a door with 'Pink Mist' labeled on it. "Well, I hope they are to your liking for the journey. It will be a bit of fly time as we are traveling by blimp." He said, showing her to the room. Inside, it was less spacious as the captain's room, but it was still rather nice.

Luna had packed her case for what she needed: her crown (kept safe in it's box), some bathroom supplies, an altered bath robe she had made for herself, and a diary. She never would sleep without it, as she logged her dreams. Resting it by the door, she smiled to her dad. "Ready." She replied, opening the door with her magic as she then walked out to the awaiting car. "How long will it take us to get the house?"

@@Dsanders, The wolf nodded to the crew as they departed towards the ship, he himself standing back a bit to talk to the mare. Looking to her, he gestured to join him as he walked towards the ship. As they entered, he didn't say a word till he directed her to her captain's quarters. The room was at the bow of the blimp, having huge windows overlooking the land before the viewer. Closing the door, he sighed. "Look... Im sorry the quick hiring. Sort of last minute selection when the princesses got word of the recent loss the team. Oh... ya... the team..." He muttered, looking away from the mare, hurting a bit. "We are not the first to venture out this far.... or the second. I only told the crew we were saving a research team to get them motivated. Truth is, we are number five. First team we sent in said they were making landfall before we lost contact. Next one didn't even make it that far. Third was pure military. They gave us intel. That's how we got word of the magical interference, and why I hired an alicorn. They lasted a day before something killed them. They only said their crew was going missing. Now... number four is interesting... we sent a fleet. Two ironclads, a cargo ship, and a battleship as support. When they got close... they reported seeing Three's transport headed towards theirs. They thought it was them escaping... That's when we got this..."

The wolf smiled to the ponies that had arrives, giving a special nod to the bipedal bull. Clearing his throat, he looked to the members of the team and then stood at attention. "Well, here we are. Selected by the princesses to do something that hasn't been done. Well, now you will know. We are going to be colonists for a new piece of land discovered north east of Equestria. We will be taking this blimp as our mode of transport. "You might be asking yourselves 'why us? Why not some trained professionals?' Well, they did. We haven't head back. That is because the land as electro-magical properties. So instead of sending a pure science team, we are taking to the sky with a team of gunners, strategists, and explorers. we will find the other team and do what needs to be done. "Now, any questions?" The wolf asked, looking to the team, expecting a lot. Also, where was the captain? She was late. He would need to catch up with her anyway, away from the crew. There was more she needed to know, that the crew didn't.

The wolf looked to the mare, hiding his new-found anoyance. His captain was a teenager. He had been ranked second in command of the mission, but he had to fallow under a kid. To him, it was a dishonor, but he still would fallow. "27 as of last month." He replied. "The letter will explain a bit more of why I'm here, but basically we are heard of an exploration to the north east. If you accept, report to the military docks in Canterlot and see your new blimp. Good luck, and it's an honor to surge under you." The wolf said before bowing again, then departed. --- When the day came to ready the ship, the wolf stood before the mighty airship. Apparently, one of the officers had arrived early. The security officer and his team. He would wait for the rest of he crew to arrive before giving the introduction speech.

Luna thought for a moment. He had just asked her if she wanted to stay at her dead great grandmother's home. To her, it was a bit sad, and at the same sence scary. However, her dad seemed to be confident with it and he had a reason to go. Nodding her head, she pressed it against his side. "Sure dad. That sounds fine." She said in a tone of sorrow.

The wolf watched as the meal cooked, sitting on a kitchen stool. He didn't know what to do. He didn't want to talk to Bu, as she seemed to need some time alone. He didn't want to unpack, as it would take too long and dinner was cooking. He could Rome the house to see what there was. Seeing it was his best option, the wolf stood and walked throughout the house, giving a half smile to Bu when he passed her. He found the house had two bedrooms, three bathrooms, the kitchen, dining room, storage room, rec room, and living room.

Long story short, you're my CO. I would like you to join an exploration of a lifetime." He said, smiling. However, in his mine, the wolf was thinking. Why was this mare so young? 20 at best. 17 at worst. Why had they called her to be the captain of the airship and the mission? As he thought, he then decided to get an answer. "Um... If I may ask a question. How old are you?"

Seth Eclipse was a grey alpha male wolf. He had a scar over his right eye, and a few small ones across his body under his fur. Only the eye scar was noticeable though. He carried a single knife, strapped to his left arm. However, his face was not that of a warier. He held a warm smile, rather than one of discipline. Walking up to the door, he gave a light knock and waiting for a response. Before the mare would arrive, the wolf took out the letter he had mailed out to other members of the future voyage. He had been assigned to gather the team, and report to the captain to tell her of the mission. Looking to the letter, he read it to himself. ___ To: @Wolf Smith Greetings. I wish to inform you that you have been chosen to be part of a grand exploration team, created by the royal sisters. They have selected you for your traits and your skills. Each of you will be assigned an officer's position aboard the ship and oversee the mission. I understand that this may be short notice, but the decision was made and the timing is key. We have a ship already prepared in Canterlot, waiting for it's crew. I would suggest that you get your life sorted out before departing. It will be some time until we return. Our destination is in the northern lands beyond the western ocean. The reason for our going there will be explained when you arrive, if you accept. Just know, the princesses chose you by name. That should mean something to you. That, and the large paycheck. If you want to join, be at the Canterlot Military airdocks at 10:00 in one week. Seth Eclipse: Second in command ---- Reading the letter, the wolf smiled. He wasn't the best writer, but it short and to the point.

Firing up the oven, the wolf took out some pasta and red sauce. It was vegetarian, so the mare would be fine. He looked to the pot as he poured in the red mixture, sighing heavily to himself. He was tired of being useless. He needed to do something for her. Something that wouldn't end in more family oh hers dying. Except... They all were dead. He had single handedly killed off what remained of her clan by forcing her to tell their location. Coming here, he forced the child to defend his last member of his family, resulting in his transformation to ash. Now... He forced her to a new home, a new life. She was miserable, and he was the cause. He forced her into everything because he thought it was right. He was wrong, and he knew it. She would never admit it, but he was guilty, and there wasn't any innocence remaining.

Luna had heard many stories about her great grandmother. They were of warm nights by the fire on Christmas, eating cookies and sipping cocoa. She had always wished to meet another member of her family, especially one who sounded so nice. However, at hearing the new news, she was paralyzed. To her, it was the first count of death she had ever experienced. There were waves of emotions flowing threw her, and she didn't know how to proses such an impact. However, seeing the face of her dad, she knew she was lucky. He knew his grandmother more and she knew her great grandmother. He needed her. She needed to help him. Slowly trotting over. She lifted a hoof, and hugged her dad, her horn igniting with a light glow. In her dad's mind, the mare left a single memory. "I'm here for you."

The wolf sighed, feeling a bit useless as he felt the cause for her troubles. She was miserable and he couldn't do a damn thing. He was a soldier: if he needed to take down a target, he would do it blindfolded. If he was told to blow up a bridge, he would blow up he river it was on. But helping a hurting mare... He had nothing. Giving a slight pat on Bushido's back, the wolf gave her a nod before giving a false smile. "Here, I'll cook dinner." He proposed before walking towards the kitchen with one of the boxes of food they were given.

Luna stood, walking to the sink to help with the dishes. However, she wanted to go on her grandmother's computer and play some games. Usually, her dad would be over her shoulder whenever she was online. He seemed to worry about what she was up to when it involved tech. She remembered one time the two were watching TV. She had gone to get a snack, and while she was gone, her dad had muted the Tv. It sounded like an ad for a show, but when she returned, it had already passed.

Seth was about to snap the wing in half, but only found himself at the base of the tower. He gave rage-filled barks as he planned his next approach. He was going to murder the vampires, or at least torture them the best he could. He would never let them live after what they did to- His thoughts were interrupted when he looked up to see a floating Bliss atop the tower. She was back?? This sparked a new fire in Seth. A fire of rage, and loyalty. Bliss was back, and he was to be at her side. From the yelling he could hear, apparently Boom was not going to give up her position on her throne without a fight. Good, he wanted to give a punch or two to her anyway. But first, he needed an old friend. Concentrating, he called upon the weak Lust within him. 'Listen, you need me, and I need you. You want Blight, I want Boom dead.' Seth thought, feeling the familiar figure inside him awaken. 'You left me for dead within you. Why should I aid you?' Lust spoke, obviously angered. 'You are something i never wanted... now I have gained control over your powers. After years of you, you and I will work together.' 'Why should I trust you?' 'Want a reason? Try this.' The wolf spoke, before closing his eyes. Letting go of his body, he felt Lust take his pace over his body's power. When the wolf opened his eyes, they were red with power. Unlike before, Lust had been granted everything Seth had. In return, the wolf's vampiric power was at it's prime. Now was the time. Jumping, he dug his claws into the tower's side and began to climb the rocky structure. When he was half way up, he gave a deep howl.

The wolf opened the door to the cabin, allowing her inside. The guards had gone back into the truck and only Damon remained. He watched the two for a bit, wanting to talk to Seth. "Well, that's everything you will need for a few weeks. Everything else you can grab at the town. Good luck, old friend." The white wolf spoke, patting Seth on the side. "Thanks. Thanks for everything." He replied, nodding to his friend as the two went their separate ways. Walking inside, the wolf closed the door to the frigid world, looking to the mare. "Whatever I can do to help, please. I only want your life to be a safe and happy one."

Well, at least I have something to eat.

The wolf took a few supplies, helping the others move it to their house. When he came back, he stopped and looked into her eye. "Bu... when I told you I loved you, I meant it.That means I truly want to be with you. I don't want you to be left alone here... You know me, but wolves are not ponies. I just want to be close to you."

Luna was almost finished. She was still working on the corn when she was asked the question. "Oh ya! I loved the water and the warm sand!" She exclaimed, remembering how wonderful it was to get out of the sun and into the cool waters of the ocean. She did have to preen for an hour after, but it was more than worth it. "You should ask dad about the sand crab" She then reminded, remembering her dad running across the beach because of a little crab.

If the wolf could, he would have smiled at the turnout. Atlas would have know better than to let a wolf hang around. He guessed the vampire form was a little less cautious. Trying to speak through his grip, the wolf gave a light laugh. "First, a wolf's grip with his teeth can get to around 1500 pounds per square inch. You should find breathing to be a bit hard very soon. Second, tell me, how can a pony fly if he has a wolf breaking his wing?" He barked, gripping the pony's wing with both paws and forcing the bone in two different directions.

The car passed through the small town, getting curious eyes from the local wolves. The windows were tinted, but they still found it odd that a single military vehicle was passing in a small farm area. The wolves kept an eye on it until it was outside the town, not raising too much suspicion. They finally pulled up to a decent sized house about two miles outside of the town's boarders. Both Damon and the driver got out, beginning to gather supplies and bring them to the door. Before departing himself, the wolf kissed the mare and then handed her a jacket. "It's going to be freezing. Here." He offered.

The mare smiled as she sat down at the table, levitating a fork and knife. She was rather accurate with her magic now, gaining a bit of talent for her accuracy. Last week, she was able to construct a five story card house. As she looked to the food, she then looked up to her grandma. "Thank you so much for dinner." She said polity, her dad teaching her well. Taking the fork, she began on the carrots. After which, she began to butter her corn and bread.

Luna perked up at hearing about the military member in her family. "We have family in the service?" She asked, smiling a bit. She had a secret of wanting to join the military and help out the hurting and the wounded. If she could help people in her dreams, she could do it for those who protected her. How she found out about the army was from ease dropping on her dad's news programs.

Luna smiled with joy as they approached, looking to her grandma. When the car stopped, she jumped out of the car and ran to her with excitement "Grandma!" She exclaimed, running over and tossing one hoof around to hug her kin. Luna had begun to learn to fly by this point, her dad taking her out on fields and letting what came naturally She did have a few collisions, but she did manage to fly every once and a while. Now, she could fly a good distance, however, she rarely got the chance. She had no more experiences with the rat, and concluded that it was just some weird magic cold thing. As she got older, her dreams had been filled with other people. Most seemed to know her and interact with her well. They seemed to real... It was her only contact with people... and it wasn't even true contact. They all seemed to ask questions about other ponies... always asking about her live in a different place. It was... troubling at times to say she had no clue what they were talking about. And then there was the mare. The white mare. She had lost it. In her dreams, she had seen her turn into a cruel, heartless dictator. When she noticed luna, she always glared at her and said 'You... you never came back...' It always frightened luna more than anything else to have that dream. And yet... she knew little about her.
