Best thing about my username, I misread titles and stumble across amazing artwork, great job on this, Its amazing, I love the style aswell, but I have to agree with Delernil on her hooves not being forward, it makes it look a little off

Hey everypony!

So after some thinking about it, I tried out some digital art with cs6 (if you already know me, you know I hate attempting digital paintings because I just get so frustrated and give up). I've drawn Octavia and Vinylscratch (no particular reason) and I managed to persevere and complete the two.

Any tips, hints, pointers etc would be wonderful and muchly appreciated (if you wouldn't mind of course)

most computers have a basic digital art kit, that's a great place to start.

I have photoshop and all sorts of programs but I just can't do it, they end up looking flat and unrealistic D:

Yeah, Gimp, Paint.net and Paint tool SAI are your best bets

I could never get Paint tool SAI to work, it won't open at all, if anyone would like to help me out, it'd be much appreciated
