I was trying to read around to find out if art trades were better placed in the commissions section or here, but I didn't find anything clear enough. My hubby was the same way. LOL. He's an OIF veteran who sat down with me to watch just an episode or something and fall asleep, but noooooo. He wanted to see more and more and more. Years later, he's got an original character or four and constantly asks for me to draw them, or his favorite ponies! You are definitely not alone. There are several military bronies. Hey there! I'm new too. I actually started off playing with the toys and things when I was a little kiddo (circa '89-93 probably was most influential) and then I grew up. I was involved in a few other fandoms and with that came a ton of journal updates about a new "My Little Pony" Series. I managed to catch the first few episodes of season 1 on youtube and I've been watching ever since. <3 I wouldn't say I'm obsessed, but I definitely love it!

Hello, hello! I go by ShineBright or "Shine" / "SB" or any combination of these things. Haha. I'm a really easy going artist hailing from Indiana, USA. I presently work in the security/loss prevention field and I spend my free time working with horses using natural horsemanship techniques, and making artwork! I spend my spare spare time playing on my 3ds (Animal Crossing: New Leaf is my most favorite thing. ;u;) My pipe dream is to own a carriage company with some fancy draft horses, and maybe a photography business on the side! You can see where my priorities are! Eventually, I would like to learn another language, and maybe travel to a foreign country. (Russian/Russia would be great!!!) I've been into "My Little Pony" since the late 80's. I've loved the toys and stories (my favorite was G2, with the stereotypically girly "My Little Pony Tales" ) along with Care Bears and Lisa Frank and treasure Trolls and Rainbow Brite. I like colors! You feel me? Haha. I like music! I really enjoy Blue October, Whitesnake, and the occasional Oingo Boingo. I listen to almost everything, so if you've got a cool song you want me to listen to, feel free to send it along! I might find something I like. I'm just here to share art and maybe make some friends with similar interests. I recently watched a documentary about "bronies" and while I've been in this fandom since Season 1, I thought I should make some friends within the fandom.
