    If they could pull it off well one continuous arc be great, but I personally like the 2-episode format used on the premieres. It's a good time-frame to develop a story, without getting stale (my only worry with the season arc is that it could drag on). I find a lot of the individual plots creative as it is, and I wouldn't want that to be stifled to fit into a tight storyline. Allusions within the episodes leading up to a larger problem might be nice.

    I guess I've found most of the characters "cute" (or, at least, stylistic) at some point, not in a way that arouses me. Several reasons, most of which are because the show is too innocent for that! I don't really like humanized versions or that kind of fan art either, because it seems too different from the character they are supposed to be based on. And no I don't think any less of people that do. I can understand the appeal, given their personalities and the style (large eyes, humanly-expressive faces). I admit I can see some of their poses as potentially attractive.

    The notice has been there for ages, but mine still has the old layout. Is it not affecting the whole site at once? I tend not to care about site changes, I don't like the new user pages though. It's not unmanageable, but I don't know why they had to cut out the sidebars... you could see a lot more at once, and it was organized so it was easier to find information. There are some things I'd keep, but I like options and customization.

    Eh, I don't see any reason to believe the memory spell was anything other than what it was meant to be. These mindscrew theories entertain me anyway, and I very much like the idea of Discord having a backup plan.

    While I don't want to say bronies are always better than everyone else, I guess it's such an expansive fan-base it inspires a lot diverse talents and brings out the best. I agree on a lot of the music being really cool, and I can definitely appreciate the general tolerance attitude.

    I'm not caught up with Season 2 yet, so I'm looking forward to seeing the minotaur. I'm thinking some supernatural entity like a shapeshifter / doppelganger / changeling could have potential if done correctly. EDIT: ^ Oh, I totally called it.

    I wouldn't say I was a hater, I'd get annoyed at the trolls who would just post things like "hurr durr weirdos you only watch it to clop." I never imagined myself being interested in it until recently, though. And I suppose certain fan works can be a little... offputting sometimes. But I don't judge until I know.

    The Cutie Mark Chronicles (s1e23), I'm sure referenced 2001: A Space Odyssey. The scene where Rarity is drawn to her "destiny," what with the music and camera shots, way too closely resembled the Monolith to be a coincidence.

    I'm not sure what age counts as a childhood movie, but I remember repeatedly watching The Brave Little Toaster and Balto when I was much younger. And I have to agree with about half the people here and say Toy Story, it's a classic for a reason.

    I don't care to go around flaunting it, but I certianly won't try to hide it when it comes up. I can't really wear a MLP shirt or something to school anyway, because of dress codes. One of my IRL friends is a brony, and I found out my cousin is a brony/pegasister, so that's cool.

    *Knock knock* *Opens door* Hi, I'm [REAL NAME REDACTED]. As you can probably guess, I'm now a proud fan of MLP: FiM. I made myself watch the first season before I joined any forums because I didn't want any spoilers. You all seem like a nice bunch, so here I am. Since my life (unfortunately) isn't entirely about ponies, here's a little more about me: 1. Interested in writing, though I generally don't do fan-fiction. 2. Game design is another hobby. 3. Wishes he could come up with a better usernames. 4. Secretly plots to take over the world. 5. Best ponies? Applejack and Fluttershy, of course. It is scientifically proven.
