    Honestly though, I've realized that video games aren't just a hobby or a passtime for me, they've become part of my life and part of who I am, so it's actually difficult to imagine what kind of person I would be or how different the world would be without them.

    I would be in much better shape, probably have a college degree, and most likely be in a better paying job.

    Here's one that I get a lot of hate for, which is why I don't tell anyone. I think that 9/11 was a bunch of crap. I'm no conspiracy theorist, I know it was real, I just hate how much we focus on 9/11.

    My step-father died of cancer as well and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about him. Thank you so much for the kind words, it's nice to not feel alone, though it's unfortunate that things like these happen.

    Thanks everypony! I would like to apologize for the vagueness of my initial post, I guess what I was looking for was a little bit of inspiration from experienced fan fic writers. I've got a few ideas that I think I'm going to run with. Again I wanted to thank you all for your advice.

    Hey everypony! I'm going to start writing some fan fiction soon and though I have a few ideas floating around in my head I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or ideas that might help me get started. I am an experienced writer, but this is my first try at MLP fan fiction

    Yay! I wasn't really expecting this thread to do so well I have really enjoyed reading reading everyone's responses. What I've really taken from this is that we are all part of such an amazing fandom and community. This is the first time in really long time that I've felt that I was really part of something, everyone has been so accepting and friendly, and I realy want to thank all of you for being awesome

    I'm starting this thread because I really wanted to strike up meaningful conversation. I want to hear from you guys about what it means to you to be a Brony. I know what the term Brony means, but what I want fro this thread is know what it means to you. I feel that there is more to being a Brony than just being a fan of the show, though that is a part of it. I'm still fairly new to the herd so I thought this would be a nice way to get a better understanding of things.

    Ooh, this is a good thread My favorite JRPGs are Star Ocean the 2nd Story, Tales of Vesperia, Brave Heart, and any of the Final Fantasy series.

    This was the episode that me really hooked me on the show. Also this was the episode that me a fan of Fluttershy as well. I found it touching how they all helped her up the mountain and that she was able to overcome her fear of dragons because her friends were being bullied. Fluttershy seems so meek and shy, but if you mess with her friends your in for a fight!
