      Thank you so much <3

  2. While I like the idea of it cutting down control on some brown nosing politics some in the fandom likes to play as Hasbro is not going to care too much who they are. But here are my issues for it that I fear for. 1. Will Hasbro start sending C&D notices to brony conventions? One thing humans fear is the unknown and as a result, we tend to be pessimistic about something we don't know. Considering Hasbro now has an official convention, this would mean that hasbro is now in the same market of many of it's product's fandoms conventions. As a result, Hasbro's copyright could be threatened which can enact it to send C&D notices to them to cull or eliminate it's competitors. It may not even try though as Key sharkz mentions that none of the fan conventions have the capitol or influence Hasbro has so they can easily drown them out in that manner. 2. If fan conventions do survive the c&d potential threat, how they're going to compete against Hasbro? As I mentioned, Hasbro can pull of the same things these conventions do only in a much easier and far larger capacity. This would mean the other cons would have to promote something to else to garner attention. 3. How will the hasbro con treat fan art? Technically these are unlicensed products that they're not making money on. Will they allow them through regulations to allow them to be sold with the promise of a share of the profit? 4. What about the rule 34 communities? Another effect of this that the hasbro con will most certainly not include any rule 34 material or adult behavior at their con so that leaves the question that if the other cons go and perhaps Hasbro may ban any artists that post rule 34 art, where this already ostricized group will go to now? These are the only things I can think of at the moment. The hasbro con can be a good idea in the long run. It's just I wish to spout my fears for this idea off first so we can view the possible consequences for this.

    gaming DEATH BATTLE

The site has a huge weakness towards no limit fallacies as anything that has no stated limits gets wanked to death by them. I'm guessing the favor for bowser has to deal with how enchanted silver arrows can harm and kill ganon disproving one needs blessed weapons to do so.
  4. Wasn't there a brony demographic sheet that said that not only was MLP popular in Europe but the slavic ethnic group of people like Lithuanians and Russians were rated as the number one fans of MLP? I don't think that will be the case as Europe is pretty friendly towards MLP. I feel it will be pretty successful wherever it hits.
  5. Pretty much in agreement.
  6. Considering how many times it's been ported and emulators run Doom 2, they probably have done it already As for the complaints, another point of contention from the negative reviews is that alot of them do not like the 40 dollar multiplayer season pass as it's your typical 'get this to get better content than everyone else in a competitive game'. Also the fact that the multiplayer portion of the game was designed by former bungie employees is another thing many folks don't like as they've used it to justify the 'Halo clone' complaint.
  7. You've seen the new episode. What do you think?

Ah, so far, Spike gets his due and Dragons were made awesome again by what I saw. They may have successfully salvaged them after that disastrous turn with Dragon Quest. Oh and the Dragon Princess is totally not Astrid from HTTYD :P

  8. I'm happy to say, this is an awesome spike episode. It actually fixed the FIM dragons after that disaster of an episode with Dragon Quest.

  9. Whether you like her or not, it seems Katie Cook's next issue next month will be her last MLP comic at least for a while: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2016/04/katie-cook-bows-out-of-mlp-comics-with.html#more

Aye. She was usually great at writing slice of life stuff for mlp, but I wouldn't allow her to write an adventure story as she's not so good at it. Still compared to most of the comic writers, especially her early issues, she was one of the best.

She got a lot of heat for her later stuff, but her early comics were quality stuff. Hopefully now though she won't have to deal with haters heckling her anymore

  10. https://mlpforums.com/blog/1500/entry-19779-fim-on-your-marks-episode-review/ Here's my latest review for the On your Marks episode review. Please come and see what I have shown. On another matter, I may have to review The Gift of the Maud Pie just to be certain I got it correct.
  11. An unfortunate circumstance with technological advances is that many of the old ways of doing things, such as writing personal and warming letters, get replaced by easier and more convenient new methods. I can see why a person would wish to continue writing personal letters as it does add that touch as you mentioned and it especially shows off of their confidence and pride in their own handwriting. When someone at the register remarks of how they're happy somebody does cursive writing as their signature, that's when you start feeling old and feel that perhaps some things are getting worse for the advancement of communications. I don't have good handwriting myself but I see the validity and do wish for it to be kept around as it's still a need to have some skill in writing. Keep on writing these warm letters of care and even more stuff as they'll appreciate it very much.

I liked it for the most part, I like how it acknowledges how the CMC won't always be together, how they have other interests, that they can meet new friends through these interests, put them in better positions to help other people. It made the CMC (and encouraged them to be) more independent and well-rounded.

  16. https://mlpforums.com/blog/1500/entry-19752-fim-the-gift-of-the-maud-pie/ upon a commenter in my blog's point, I have altered the review to reflect a better opinion on the episode.
  17. https://mlpforums.com/blog/1500/entry-19752-fim-the-gift-of-the-maud-pie/ come and see what you guys think. I'll be likely updating my S6 reviews as I need to adjust to new revelations.
  18. You've earned yourself a watcher from me as I like the designs. Let me add to what Key Sharkz mentioned of fans. Lauren Faust herself joined the original PPG's show as a rabid fan of it. So don't fret, you'll have plenty of chances to come for it and others alike, especially given the PPG's fame and lasting legacy. And I do especially adore your art and wish for you to continue.
  19. Happy Birthday Jestwinged :D

  20. I' am not ignoring NMM, I just don't agree with your interpretation of it based on what FIM has shown. The power difference between NMM and Celestia is much greater than you give credit as NMM banished and sealed Celestia inside the moon without the elements of harmony (she was wondering where it was and wanted to find them in the NMM au). Celestia herself needed the elements of harmony just to do the same in comparison. So when we're talking about a power difference, NMM is significantly more powerful than Celestia and is just below her with the elements of harmony. So no even if Celestia is significantly more powerful than Luna, NMM is such a huge power boost to Luna that it borders on how did she get such a form feasibly. NMM's power is why I believe possession is more feasible than some hidden power because we're not talking about some normal power up, we're talking about NMM can suddenly kick her more studious sister around like a ragdoll power wise. It would require some headcanon work that Luna was concieved to be some weapon or something and considering we have nothing to support it possession is the the most logical one considering what FIM has shown.
  21. That you've never proven other than some personal interpretation that goes against what Hasbro allowed IDW to create to explain more on Nightmare Moon. Should I take a personal conjecture of when Nightmare Moon declared herself as she is not Luna as she said on the show as I can interpret it as Nightmare forces having complete possession of her and have taken over mind and body. The journal of the two sisters was actually shown to exist on the show in the episode castle-mania so the journal does exist on the show and thus the contents can be considered canon. As for the part of the Alicorn birth problem, here's some points to consider: A. Amy went on twitter to explain to fans that they've discussed that Celestia and Luna were born Alicorns with the staff. B. Josh Haber didn't confirm that part of the journal was retconned as he allowed fans to banter over whether it's canon or not. C. It can also be interpreted as Celestia and Luna having no knowledge on baby alicorns can be concieved naturaly. Thus it would mean there is a special circumstance or so for it to happen. Also helps that they never had any foals themselves. D. Even if that part of them being born alicorns is retconned, it's only for them being natural born alicorns. The rest of the book is still valid. I see no basis on Luna 'being stronger in certain circumstance' as plenty of evidence contradicts that personal interpretation by what Hasbro had allowed IDW to write as part of FIM canon. Also you still have no explanation for how Luna got such a power but Celestia did not, especially considering Celestia's appetite for magic. Until I actually see the show directly retconning it via stating or showing it as such that cannot be left open to personal interpretation such as the Princess Twilight episode as it left no impression that Luna was transforming into some alter ego as I can interpret it as the nightmare forces taking over too. Whether you want to admit it or not, because the op never said no comics allowed, it can be used here in this topic. You know on second thought, you admitting my case that celestia is stronger to me has renewed my interest here as some progress happened so I'll continue to debate at my leisure.
