    Hello! I found the forums and the show in a similar way as well. I really am glad I gave it a chance, and I'm glad you did too! Oh and if you have access to Netflix, the first 3 seasons are up on there. Not gonna lie I prolly watch through the season once every other month. Heehee.

    The creepiest was an old guy with a bad combover, crooked mustash, and a windowless van who called me "sexy little babe" and claimed "cuties shouldnt have to walk home from school".

      My belly dancing teacher has us dancing with scimitars and let me tell you, moving around with a sword balanced on your head is no easy task. XD but we do look SO COOL doing it. Last time I went to class sleepy I dropped my sword so much she has 3 new dings her her floor.

    I watched that documentary on netflix last week, and its one of my favorite documentaries (yes I watch enough of those to have a favorite xD). It was wonderfully done, with Jon de Lancy doing a great job as the main narrator. It is not a brony smear campaign (I had feared it would be at first too) but it is really a wonderfully done piece on brony culture. I highly recommend all bronies watch it.

    All of these are fantastic! I am also partial to anything Luna, since I am a noctunal creature myself. All of the season openers and finales were really well done, too. Party of One is my second favorite episode, since you really see the dark side of Pinkie's element there.

    I am working on my costume and which song I want to do first, and its a bit of slow going with the other numbers I have to learn for our shows in the spring. It might be a long while, but I know when I finish it I will be posting about it on this site. If its half as cool as what I see in my head I am sure my fellow bronies will love it. :3

    I have been wanting to have this conversation for AGES!!! What's your favorite episode of the show and why? My favorite has to be "The Dog and Pony Show" in Season 1 where Rarity, out hunting gems with Spike, gets kidnapped by the Dimond Dogs. It's by far my favorite because we see a new, rare kind of strength in Rarity that most poeple would never except her to have, since she had those Dogs paying her friends in gems to take her back. And, not gonna lie, I died laughing when the Dogs told her to stop whining, and she hams up her voice and kicks her complaints to a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL. I do the same thing often, since I filter most of what I say but turn that off as soon as someone makes a comment like the Dogs did. Just like Twilight said in her letter at the end of the show, Rarity showed a different and surprising kind of strength that people just don't even consider. The average person assumes that if you are like Rarity, you can't look after yourself in dangerous situations, that you are weak and girly, and Rarity proved them all not only wrong by down rigth silly. I mean, she made off with 6 carts of gems! She's a genius! Share with me your insights, fellow bronies! Pretty please.

    I have such a hard time deciding between Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Twilight Sparkle, because I am some strange combination of those three, but I have to go with Pinkie Pie as my #1 since I am plotting a Pinkie Pie themed belly dance number xD Also, I am kinda into baking and feeding people (delicious baked goods CAN and WILL bring us togehter!!!) so Pinkie is my gurl. I gotta give a shout out to the very awesome Zecora, too, who is in my Top 5 Fav MLP Characters.

    Well, considering ponies that age have cutesenarias (I slaughtered the spelling of that word but its a play on the parties latios have for their 16 year old daughters) and the fact that, in our society, we put a lot of emphasis on the high school years being ones of self discovery, the Cutie Mark Crusaders are the only ages I think they got right. I peg Twilight as a college student, which puts Rarity and Applejack in the same 18-23 age range, which would mean that the CMC are prolly only 5-6 years younger and would put them in high school since an age gap any larger than that is rare and wouldn't fit well with what we already know about the ponies. My sisters and I have a similar age gap, 5 years, and I was in the middle of college while they were in high school. The CMC also have about the same maturity level as high school kids and are a bit more devoloped and focused on their futures than elementary school children would be.

    I love those bronies! They crack me up everytime! Also glad I wasn't the only one to make a connection between Sailor Moon and MLP, since that is kinda what got me into the show to start with. I'm just amazed that none of the bronies noticed the strange age inconsistancies the movies puts on the series. I mean, who honestly though the mane 6 were high school age based on the info we're given in the show? I have never met a high schooler who ran her own clothing line, lived alone outside of town, or didn't go to at least some consistant daily school thing (there are rare cases that are exceptions but its not near common enough to cover the line of logic that ended with those ponies in high school). That AC brony though did a great job on all his videos.

    I had read both sets, and was considering doing both eventually, 'cause why not, you know? xD I just know it's harder to write with randomly constructed characters, so figured role playing would be easier and more fun with well structured characters that don't blantently disreguard the universe they are trying to live in. I'll go with aging by maturity level then. I'm very detail-oriented and its always the little things that end up ebing important later on, so I like keeping things liek this in mind. Thank you much for your help. :3

    I've been mulling over my OC ideas, you know trying to get the details straight in my head before posting in the role play forums (I am trying to get used to forums and roleplaying I've never had an opertunity to get familiar with either), and quite frankly I am perplexed by the ages of characters, considering there are age consistancy issues between the show and the movie Equestria Girls. I mean, clearly the main 6 ponies are over 18 human years, prolly in their early 20s judging by their life milestones, and ponies like Abblebloom are around 16, since they go to school daily and have cutesenarias (yes I totally spelled that wrong sorry), and those age ranges completely go against the movie, which shoves everyone in high school. I would really just love a bit of clarification on the accepted age ranges on this site so I can start making OC profiles and roleplaying. I couldn't seem to find anything on it myself, but I am rather bad navigating forums, so any help would be greatly appricated. Thanks, everypony. -Eva

    My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie Pie How did you find MLP Forums?: I love all things MLP and am so tired of my friends and family making fun of me for wanting to talk about it. Great things spawn great conversations and I want to those. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I think it started with the similarities between MLP and great shows from my younger years like Sailor Moon and Powerpuff Girls. I stayed with the show because of the amazing writing and the unending wave of positivity the show encourages. Who can be sad watching MLP? No one, that's who! I'm just like everypony else who wants to dress up like Pinkie Pie and hand out cupcakes to strangers (they don't ever take them, which makes me sad, 'cause I make really good brownie cupcakes). I am the worst fear of dieters, but that's only because they eat too many brownies when I'm around. I love music, singning, dancing, and reading. I play a lot of games and hate being up during the day (what can I say? I'm a moon child). I am not very good at using forums, def a little derpy with things like this, but by gum I just had to try. Every girl needs brony friends.
