Probably thanks to my childhood of drawing every disney cartoon I could.
Or at least attempting to, instead of trying to draw realistic things like I should have pfft
Heh, its all about what you have fun doing. I prefer doing cartoony things since its not something in life, but whatever you like drawing, then have fun with it!

Wow. These are beautiful. For some reason, really gives me a disney vibe. Great work on these, very well done.

Um...if you're still available, I'd like one, if you're willing to do a gryphon. Sorry if I'm too late. :s

part of my tuition actually got me the pen, he he. Got some supplies last semester at the beginning of my art class, and its a really nice pen. Japanese too.I screw up a lot during inking But I use archival ink micron pens, so it's much more set-in-ink than just a pen! XD Love those hooves!

Aww thank you it's awesome!
Hehe, thanks! It was a pleasure to draw!

Oh boy...this one hurt. Wasn't expecting this one to take so long, the form and clothes were easy, the face was quick, but those hands...I don't know why, but I just could not for the life of me get them the way I wanted.
Well, either way, still hope ya like it, Jelly!

hoplites are cooler than centurions anyway. And yeah, I saw on your profile.@@sakeshi, For your information i like the hoplite not only because it looks awesome on him but beacause i am from Greece.

Pony #4.
Still progressing I think
But not 100% sure about defining the bottomlip
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Really depends on the individual style.
-
Wow, this is beautiful! Especially those eyes, theyre brilliant.
-
@@sakeshi, It's awesome! Really! Damn i thought i left a comment before here. The only problem, or perhaps minor detail are the ankles. In general it's awesome! I like it! The spear! The helmet! The Scars on the armor! The ornate shield! Daaaaaamn...
Heh, yeah, still trying to get those hooves right. ^^;
Glad you like the hoplite look though, bro.

All art is observation and practice. If you do a lot of observational sketching, or simply take the time to just look at the interaction of light on objects you will, slowly, come to understand how it works. Once you have built up a broad understanding of how this works you can then apply that to your creations. If you have a clear understanding of the forms of the item you are drawing, even if it is directly from your mind, and you know where the light is coming from then it all becomes self evident where the shadows and shading should go.
But if you are after a magic wand solution, I'm afraid there isn't one. It's a long process of observing and practicing form and light.
Ah, much thanks friend. I will certainly keep that in mind!
-
My my, that is one of the cutest things ive ever seen! Never seen photoshop used so well before!

My god, that is some amazing work you have here. I must say, Im quite curious just how you do the shadows, they look extravagant.
-
Oh boy, gotta say, this one was a bit rough. Not because of the content but the reeeally small subject details. All for the sake of art!
*ahem* Anyway, this one was definitely a fun ride, hope ya like it bro!
Oh my! Ya have a nice way to draw their legs x3
I would like to do a drawing like you doHehe, thanks alot bro! I seem to be getting that a bit, wonder why. The hooves, that is.

Hehe, thanks mate. Dunno if hes dragon or not, youd have to ask the guy himself.
-
Oh wow, these are amazing! I wonder what you draw when you're serious about it.
Good luck with the surgery, and very well done.

Considering this was all done in one night, I'm actually quite happy how it turned out, though I did screw up a bit when I went over it with pen, you could probably see it as soon as you get to it.
Anywho, hope ya like, bro!
