I would say no to cartoon ponies, and mostly no to Equestria Girls. I typically cannot find them in their base forms sexually appealing, but EG Pinkie sort sent me into....the zone. I think it was more imagining her as a human that one could actually date rather than just merely the way she was depicted, so it definitely triggered more of a fantization than what is actually depicted in the movie. I feel like I have to rip them out of context in order to comfortably snap them into the realm of physical But in spite of my opinion, I am not offended by those who do. Sex is the final frontier. As long as you're not hurting anyone, why would I give a flying frak?

Well if the fundies had their way....wait a minute, what is fundamentalism doing in our brony life? Why have we just spent forever arguing over dividing us up due to our sex life? Bros, not cool.

Although I definitely don't define myself as a clopper, as an adolescent I was all into the hypersexualization of shows such as Sailor Moon, and I remember my mother, investigating the fandom and finding that aspect of it, which resulted in my face turning into about a bazillion shades of crimson. I think that we live in a culture that restrict us not only what is appropriate socially (i.e. ponies are not for adults) and but also sexually, and I think what ends up happening is that our desire ends up spreading over our fantasy worlds since reality readily tells us non-normative sexuality is wrong. I am not saying I advocate bestiality (because honestly, I seriously doubt that poor beast is consenting to your human rape-iness), but what I am saying is I see clop-fic and art as an extension of people trying to express what they are not allowed to in the restrictiveness of reality. And I'm okay with that (except when it comes to rape and incest, come on people, really?) p.s. I suppose I should add that I do not think cloppers are i.r.l interested in bestiality, I was just trying to center my own opinion on the subject. Apologies if that offended anyone! I love you guys!

I guess one argument for this uncharacteristic behavior is that often, in alternate universes, characters are sometimes an alternate version of themselves. Plus, they live different lives, which means they might develop different traits. I know we didn't see alot of this different shading of the mane six, but I guess if anyone wanted to tackle as to how this behavior on Celestia's part is possible, that would be one way around it. But I agree, now that you mention is, those traits do seem very Un- princess like.

Personally I feel like the internet is enough of a secret society for me.But I can understand if there is such a great anxiety of bullying that you would feel the need to do something like have a secret code. But honestly, I hate the idea that we would let our antagonists make us go underground like this. But kudos none the less to all of the neat ideas for an emblem you all are tossing around.

It will probably become another ringtone for me. I dig the way De Lancie makes the singing work for him in a conversational manner (which I understand also could have been a factor of just the way the song was written) and If it is something else as fast paced as before, or even if it's sort of a ballad of sorts (I am laughing just trying to imagine what situation would call for that) I am pretty sure it will be destined to please. I feel like this man can do no wrong (eh-oh, in comes my idolization complex).

I imagine it would be someone like the Laverna, the goddess of thieves, but perhaps depicted as a scavenger sort of creature, like a fox. But as others have already pointed out, their relationship would never be stationary, it would be more like a hit and run kind of situation where they just happen to run into one another, hook up, and then there would be a "thank you, see you next time..whenever that is" sort of set up

I am going to cross my fingers that we still will never see one of the mane six in a romance (long term, that is) - Its not an idea I necessarily supported, it was just one that I felt like I had to accept as possibly inevitability as the show progresses. And I agree whole heartedly, a romance as a plot point probably would unravel this world that we all have come to appreciate so much for how little it mirrors other shows targeted towards young girls in which romance ends up being what it is all about. :here is to the rest of the season about friendship rather than romantic love: Kudo's to your elaboration on this subject - it made me consider the whole scenario from a new angle.
