  1. 19, turning 20 in a month. I'm old enough to join the military and get killed yet still not allowed to smoke weed. I also feel like time is passing too fast and it makes me feel uncomfortable.

the fact that my last post on this thread was almost 7 years ago and I was 13 makes me feel old

  2. Built my current desktop in Summer 2019 - so almost two years old, although I bought my graphics card (an RX 560) in summer 2018. Been wanting to upgrade but I don't have a disposable income atm and even if I did graphics cards are being scalped to death at the moment.

  3. Not a specific state, but to be honest I've always kind of wanted to move to a big city like Denver or Los Angeles in particular although that's pretty much wishful thinking. I feel like California would be nice because of the warmer climate (that isn't straight up dead heat like Arizona or something) but it'd probably be too expensive for me.

I've also thought about moving to Vermont in the past even though that's kind of on the opposite end. Just seems like a nice culture in general.

  4. Pretty much anywhere. For PC games I mostly buy games off of Steam with a couple exceptions, but for console games I buy some off the digital stores they have in the case of the Switch and Xbox One but also buy games from GameStop and Target or whatever every so often. For those along with a lot of my older systems though I usually go to a local game store I really like due to their customer service and the variety of games and systems they tend to have.

  5. Technically this does count as "MLP," but I should mention that at one point I remember getting Gen 3 My Little Pony toys in a Happy Meal when I was 4 years old or so and vaguely remember actually liking them but my mom gave them away to a friend's daughter because they were girls' toys.

Outside of that, I had a Care Bears DVD I used to watch all the time as a kid, plus a "Popples" VHS and plush (if anyone remembers that) I remember liking which I feel could probably fit here. I also used to like Dora the Explorer in my preschool and kindergarten years.

I don't remember anything more than that, but now that I've realized I'm trans I feel like I can look back more on some of the stuff I used to play with or wanted to play with as a kid that can be considered "girls' stuff." FiM was probably one of the biggest things that played a part in that though.

  6. I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

  7. It's a bit complicated for me I feel. I'd probably say I'm asexual and don't really hold any interest in a "sexual" relationship, but at the same time I also feel like I'm panromantic in that I would still like to live with a friend of some sort and not be lonely.

  8. Out of these I'd probably say I lean most towards being a Nintendo pony. I pretty much grew up with them the most in my childhood and in general I felt like they offered the kinds of games I like the most. The Switch is honestly my favorite console right now, but I've had fun with pretty much all of their systems to some extent (...aside for the Virtual Boy anyway). Although overall I'd probably say I'm more of a PC pony over anything else.

Although I'm not necessarily biased against Sony or Microsoft. I got an Xbox One X last year and have been digging a lot of it's features and the sheer power of it, and I also own a PS1, 2 and 3.

  9. I used to go on a site called Equestria Forums before this one and was kind of off and on there since, but from what I can tell it apparently shut down and the domain now belongs to this foreign movie review blog. Been wondering what happened to it but I don't really have any way to reach out to the owners or mods (hell, I don't even remember their usernames) so I'm not sure I'll ever know. Was also on World of Equestria before that shut down too.

Other than that, this is honestly the only pony forum I use these days.

  10. Super Mario World - I believe this was one of the first games I remember playing, originally on my grandfather's SNES but later on the Game Boy Advance. I remember this being the first game I pretty much 100% completed, and to this day it's just a game I really like going back to and have a lot of respect for. Pretty much got me into Nintendo games and retro games in general.

ROBLOX - I know this game is kind of a meme but I gotta admit, I spent so much time on it as a kid (especially between 2009 and 2012) and I remember it being sort of a game that got me into content creation in different ways, and not to mention I met so many friends through it, a few of which I'm still good friends with to this day.

Undertale - My personal favorite game of all time. I pretty much instantly found a lot of respect for this game's structure and design, particularly with how the morality system is integrated within the gameplay, but I feel like it changed how I look at video games and the world in general. Plus it was probably the first piece of media in general where I really found characters I could connect to and found any sort of emotional investment within. Just a really unique game to me and one that had an influence on me in general.

Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3&K - Honestly I feel like all of these helped me get into the Sonic franchise and I can't really choose a single one that has specific meaning to me (although I'd probably say 2 is my favorite). Alongside Super Mario World, they did help me get into retro gaming. Always really liked the series' approach to level design, and I'd say all of these alongside Sonic Generations really helped me appreciate game design and replay value.

  11. I feel like a lot of people don't really talk about Lost Treasure of Griffonstone and it kind of makes me sad because it's honestly one of if not my favorite episode of the show.

I guess as far as episodes that are outright disliked to an extent though probably Fame and Misfortune. I can understand the criticisms made towards it but honestly as someone who's been a fan of the show and followed the community since Season 2 started I did find a lot of the in-jokes and meta humor to be hilarious.

  12. Since I last posted here, I actually built a new PC altogether after I graduated High School using graduation money I got, albeit reusing a couple parts I used to have.

Case: NZXT Source 210 (my original)

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB (bought in 2018 for my previous build, decided to keep using it)

    RAM: 16 GB DDR4 @ 3200 MHz

    Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE

    Monitors: AOC 24B1W1 1920x1080 (main) + Samsung S19E200 1280x1024 (secondary)

Storage: 240GB PNY SSD, 1TB Western Digital HDD, 2TB Western Digital HDD

    PSU: Corsair 750W 80+ Bronze

OS: Windows 10 Professional. Might dualboot a Linux distro at some point (either Mint or Ubuntu Mate)

Should mention that when I bought some of the parts (CPU, RAM, Motherboard, PSU) Microcenter had a deal where if I bought a CPU alongside the motherboard (and RAM I think?) it was half off or something like that which was pretty cool.

I also have a Chuwi Corebook Pro with an Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM and 240GB SSD, also running Windows 10.

  13. Between both games that are essentially endless and I can go back and play and time, and games that I've replied so many times:

    -Overwatch

    -Animal Crossing: New Horizons

    -Super Mario World

    -Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3&K

    -Sonic Colors

    -Sonic Generations

    -Sonic Mania

    -Undertale

    -Night in the Woods

    -ROBLOX

and probably some others that I can't think of atm
