Shimmer Down

Hi! I'm Shimmer Down. I don't think we've met. First off: GREAT Cosplay! I'd love some suggestions on the jacket and boots, since I'm thinking about doing this exact same cosplay for BABScon '16! I also agree that Sunny's got her place carved out in Equestria Girls. Some may debate that she's a Pony trapped in a human's body, but I believe she is where she wants to be, in the body that she wants to be in. Otherwise we'd have seen her travel back to Equestria already.

I will never stop being a brony. Sure, the show might end, and I might move on to different fads and franchises. But I never stopped being a Transformers kid. I'm still a Browncoat and proud. While the fandom might fade, there will always be die-hards and the art and music and other fan-creations will never fade. The lessons this show taught me will live on forever. Stop looking for problems to solve and just be happy everything is fine. Don't worry about tomorrow, live for today. There is NOTHING wrong with not knowing what you're destined for. You've got infinite potential. Keep working at it til something sticks. It's not about what you spend your time doing, it's about who you spend your time doing it with. I'm glad that even when I forget about MLP, I'll always be a Cuite Mark Crusader.

I was really bummed when Fighting is Magic got C&D'd, then a ton of radio silence after Lauren Faust hopped on board with original characters and setting. Been pushing this through all my social media since the campaign went live. Pitched $100 towards this game. Hoping that one day, Lauren can autograph my physical copy.

Spin-off? No. Hypnosparkle pretty much gave all the reasons why it won't happen. However, I personally would love to see the CMC, reformed Diamond Tiara and reformed Silver Spoon turn into the next generation of Mane 5 once Twilight and friends has wrapped. I don't think this will happen, but I'd watch the buck out of that show if it did.

Frames were dropped. Whoever said 30 fps was more cinematic was a fool.

So this is like, all headcanon nonsense, but here goes. Don't really see anyone she could be related to per se. Beyond the obvi former-Celestia-student thing. Coffee. She's wound a little too tight for someone who drinks tea. High School student. I don't really see any of the CHS kids to be part-timers. Nah. Probably more along the lines of jamming to her favorite tunes and sending magical text messages to her BFF in Equestria. Orange Sherbert Human Sunny If her shredding on that Flying V is any indication, Rock. Odd, considering that they don't seem to share musical tastes (Vinyl leaning more towards electronic, and Sunny jamming on her guitar). Plus, save the ending of RR, they haven't had any real interaction. Interesting thing to think about. Would Princess Twi be a veggie or vegan in the human world? Or would Pony tendencies carry over? Would eating a hamburger be like cannibalism to Sunny? Even after she's spent all this time in the Human world? It's a weird thing to think about. But she does still strike me as the kind of girl to chow on a burger. I'm fundamentally opposed to the creation of more Alicorns as it cheapens the ones we already have (LOOKING AT YOU TWILIGHT). Being a better friend, graduating High School, finding her place in the world.

BOLLOCKS! I forgot this one! It's the one that really made me fall in love with the CMC.

Most of the EQG songs are catchy as hell. I made a blog post about my tier list for those songs/soundtracks. Favorite song from the show? Probably Art of the Dress, The Pony Every Pony Should Know or Apples to the Core.
