  1. Yeah, but I guess I just don't really see the point of even having it given the community has essentially modded everything imaginable into the game. Then again, you know it is with these things. If they make anything it's all icing on the profit cake. Just been lurking, you know how that goes.
  2. It's an unholy union of loot boxes and Sims stuff packs. There are no loot boxes yet? Missed opportunity, Bethesda. Bethbux to spend, not enough stupid furniture mods to spend it on... Sarcasm aside I hope they don't f up Quake. I rather like QC.
  3. Probably just easier for me to list the stuff I buy the most overall: Logitech peripherals Canon cameras Dell laptops Sony consoles Samsung mobile devices Sennheiser headphones Phillips-Norelco shavers
  4. Bound only by the paper-thin wrapper of mortality, a soul here lies, struggling to be free. And so it shall, thanks to a bowl of bad gazpacho, and a man named... Calavera.

Aye, one of the forgotten gems. Although the remastered version released a couple years back has allowed a new generation to experience it :)

True enough. Any other LucasArts adventure games you're fond of? Sam and Max? Indiana Jones? Monkey Island?

Yep, I have always been a big fan of the LucasArts adventure games. I've played and completed all of the Monkey Island games, including the Telltale one. I also love Day of the Tentacle and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (the latter being one of my favourite games of all time).

  5. EVGA GTX 980 Ti 6GB Intel i7-4790 @ very stock GHz 16GB Kingston RAM 650W Seasonic PSU 960GB Micron M500 3x4TB Seagate Dell U3011 until I can find a non stratospherically priced 120Hz 34" ultrawide.
  6. To be honest with you I'm more impressed by the case it comes in. http://www.unbox.ph/gadget/acer-predator-21-x-unboxing-initial-review-the-craziest-gaming-notebook-weve-ever-used/
  7. For wow factor, why not something like this? https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/predator-series/predator21x Absurdity aside, I have an Alienware 17 R3 myself and it's been great for me. Friend of mine who's obsessed with gaming laptops and seems to change it up every year recently picked up one of the new R4s. Build quality is super solid and he tore down the whole thing to Liquid Metal it and it barely cracks mid 60s full load with a 1080 under the hood. Blade 14 is pretty sexy, seems like what a Macbook could've been if Apple gave a damn about anything other than making things thinner. Not completely convinced on Razer QA given what I've seen and heard about their peripherals but you're hard pressed to find more power in a thinner and lighter package.
  8. One of my all time favorites. Timeless graphics (and music), imo.
  9. Same here, 60+ fps at 1600p now. Here's hoping more support for the API in the near future.
  10. I've got a pair of these, AKG K7XX LE.
  11. By rooting an Android device, you can customize virtually every aspect of it. You'll be able to install custom ROMs and the like and not have to wait for updates (that in my case, will probably never come). For me, it's mostly getting rid of all the stock Samsung junk that slows it down and kills battery life. I really ought to.
  12. I have a Galaxy Note 4 and a Tab S, both Android of course. The Tab S is laggy as shit, pathetic for an "octa-core" SoC but I'm far too lazy to root it.
  13. Happy birthday (again) :D

  14. Happy birthday, hope you had a good one. :)

  15. Still waiting on those 3TB 2.5" drives. Would be nice to pack some serious storage in a desktop too.
  16. iirc the FE cards are simply NVIDIA reference boards/coolers with jacked up price points to lure in early adopters who can't wait for aftermarket boards. @@Vulon Bii M.2 SATA or NVMe? I've got a SATA 850 EVO M.2 and it's been working well, but a friend of mine with the NVMe 950 PRO has some weird issues between the SSD and his system's BIOS. Price you pay for being a relatively early adopter I suppose. Blazing performance. Not that he really notices, though.
  17. Happy birthday. Hope you have a good one. :)
