S04:E25+26 - Twilight's Kingdom
Soulcrifice replied to Doctor XFizzle's topic in Season 4 Discussion
This. I couldn't believe they did that to her house, and I couldn't agree more that the castle feels incredibly less homey. I wish they could have incorporated her current house with a castle. Like the box opens up and changes the current house to be bigger and include a throne room, but not change it from being her awesome tree house. -
How has the show positively affected your life?
Soulcrifice replied to RainboomCrash's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Who I am is a person that continuously breaks stereotypes. I am 5' 11'' 145lbs and I'd say an "average" build. I also have 12 tattoos all over my body and long hair. This look gives people one impression of me regardless, but when you speak to me I'm the nicest person ever. I like to make people laugh, help other in anyway I can and hang out with my friends and family. You'd never expect someone like me to do or be who I am, and that's the point. When I found out about MLP really it was right up my alley. There was already a following of people who like the show, regardless of what people think. Sure there are still some that hide their affection for MLP, but those that don't made me interested. I watched the show, saw the values they teach and great animation. I also had recently finished Breaking Bad which also has John De Lancie, so that also intrigued me. These things all made me realize that anyone can be a Brony and like MLP, so why not me? Then before I knew it I was hooked, so now I look even more controversial lol. Tattoos, long hair and a pony T. Can't touch this! -

I'll probably begin by going slightly insane and becoming very obsessive. As if there is no more ponies.. Then I'll realize I need to chill and I wont so I'll just keep watching all the episodes. There's 4 seasons and that's a lot of episodes. Between the community, the abundance of episodes and the great merch collection I've got going, I should be okay...

Why do bronies think that they are "manly" ... ?
Soulcrifice replied to HorsesandMOARGaloar's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I don't think masculinity has to do with what you're into or not into. Being a "man" really doesn't define anything you do, just your basic gender. You're free to be gay, straight, like purple, do Pilates, drink beer, fix cars, it really doesn't matter. Women do the same only backwards, drive trucks, drink beer, weight lift etc. So really, there are no lines to what is or isn't masculine/feminine, it's just activities you can do if you should so choose to do them. I am a man because I say I am, because I own being a man. There are men who want to be women, then they're acknowledging they're no longer a man and do not wish to be considered as such. No problemo, same goes for females who wish to be male. Who's making all these rules here? -

I've yet to only encounter online haters, which leaves me restricted as to my options. If I had a hater in public, it would depend on the situation, but more than likely I'd just smile and walk away. I have long hair and tattoos, lots of them so you don't expect someone like me to be a Brony anyway. The fact that I'd smile and just walk away would tell that person IDGAF. Which I don't, and neither should you. Life is way to short to care what other people think.

movies/tv What other "kid" franchises do you like?
Soulcrifice replied to ms-coco-pommel's topic in Media Discussion
I've been known to watch Kim Possible too, my wife loves her. I also have a tendency to run back to Rocket Power, that was my childhood right there. Pokemon of course, Chowder, Dexter's Lab, Ed, Edd, & Eddy, Gargoyles, Pinkie and the Brain, and Scooby doo. I like cartoons and animated shows, but I have my tastes for adult content as well. -
What should be the final season for FiM?
Soulcrifice replied to Wardaddy's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Honestly would like to see MLP surpass The Simpsons, it has the potential to be "a classic". I just hope the writing can stay fresh, I don't anticipate it becoming boring. I just hope they don't start cutting corners due to it's current success. If they see the long haul potential we can expect quality MLP for many many years to come imo.- 29 replies

I think this episode gives us a bit of insight on how they plan to proceed with Twilight being a princess. Instead of having Twilight doing all her royal duties by herself, rather have her friends join her to help. I see that playing out well. I really liked this episode though! It's probably in my top 10 favorites, you get to see so many different character dynamics. The dispute with Rarity and Applejack, and the fun that Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash get to have trying to get RD's book ( I was still bummed she didn't get her book though). Gotta love Pinkie Pie's enthusiasm this episode too, probably her funniest IMO.

What made you finally settle on a religion?
Soulcrifice replied to Adachi's topic in General Discussion
I am in no way offended. We're all entitled to our own beliefs, but I don't want what I said to be confused. I in no way meant that you have to read the bible in order to be a Christian (in my opinion of course). I meant that the bible is just what I believe in, it helps me understand the Lord better. By reading the scriptures I learn about how to handle my life based on the stories that are within its pages. In no way is that a requirement to being a Christian though. I completely agree that salvation is totally free, and I also agree that we are to become Christlike ourselves. I believe to become Christlike though you must understand his commandments and hist teachings, which can only be found in the Bible. -
What made you finally settle on a religion?
Soulcrifice replied to Adachi's topic in General Discussion
I'm simply a non-denominational Christian, which basically means I believe what the bible say, nothing more or less. If it's not in the bible, I don't believe in it. I also firmly believe that you can't have a religion based on tangible evidence. Me saying the bible is what I believe in no way says that it's proof of anything. Religion and having a belief in something isn't about proof but about faith. Having faith that God is there, and that by believing in him I go to heaven, it's as simple as that. Having a relationship with God is important too, but the simplicity is faith. Those that ask for proof are at the point where they can't believe in something they can't see or feel or hear. You have to believe that God is there, and that all the things he says are true otherwise you have no faith. I guess that's where, for me the people who claim to not have a religion, just do so because they can't find a proof or a definite reason to believe. If you had proof what would be the point of believing in something? "I believe because I saw it happen", well that makes no sense. Of course you believe it! You saw it! If you believe in something you can't see, you're having faith that it'll fulfill what it claims too by having faith in it. The problem with most religions and those who don't have one is that they don't see a point, or they see the beliefs as medieval. This is where interpretation can get in the way. The bible for instance has many different translations and all of which "sorta say" the same thing. Sometimes though they could be to a different degree, maybe not as harsh as you'd think. For example; Mathew 18:9 says: "And if your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell." Alright so that's pretty hardcore.. In no way is God telling you actually pluck your eye from your head. Instead, he's using such a graphic metaphor to illustrate the severity of the situation. By letting something you see affect you in a negative way or cause you to sin, you should want to pluck your eye out. Or in other words, you should want to not look at it anymore, in fact you should want to tear it down and burn it. The problem with this is some Christians take this to literal too! They decide that they can't own a T.V. because of the things on it that may cause them to sin. This is a dramatic way of handling this, and this is why some people cower away from religion. Too many things are left to interpretation that everyone gets sorta scared they may be doing it wrong. This is a huge topic that I could go on forever about so if anyone's interested in hearing more feel free to pm me. tl;dr? I'm a Christian, and for those who don't have any religion I hope you find one. -
